I appreciate that this movie made the "mean girls" of high school more complex instead of always the 1-dimensional villain.
I disagree, watch the movie Heathers.
I agree however I don’t think Cher was ever actually a mean girl considering most of her classmates acted the same way. She also was never really mean to people mostly just shallow which could come off as mean at times. She pretty nice to most of her classmates just judgmental.
I’d change “mean girls” to “popular girls” because Cher wasn’t mean like that.
I guess, but the point of the movie is that Cher isn’t mean or dumb she is just clueless, but I see your point.

Its 17/11/2023 and still one of the most iconic movies
why was this so calming to watch
because this is the best movie to watch when you need to get over something or just to think whilst watching, no matter how many times i've watched it this never changed and i love it so much lol i could keep writing

Every scene takes at least a day cause they film so many takes from so many angles and then they chose the best ones and different angles and get them all together with the montage

My big sister was the youngest in her freindship group. Sometimes I'd get to tag along with them, as a result I saw this in primary school and ended up thinking that this movie was what high school would be like.
I watched it this week on Netflix remembering that I liked it but almost nothing else. As a grown up, I love its optimism.
