For me she is the Chinese Maria Callas of the Ice. Seriously. Her drama is almost operatic. It doesn't reach the last row of the arena, it reaches around the world. She skates with a conviction that says: Listen to me! I have a story ... for HUMANITY!!! I love her through and through. Sui and Han have done their work. For so long, it was hard for me to let go of Goordeeva and Grinkov. But Sui and Han are truly worthy successors to the thrown. They have achieved the impossible alchemy of combining sport and art. Everyone tried to persuade Han Conga to change his partner, but he refused the offers and helped the girl to restore her health. Nobody believed them. But in 2022 they became Olympic champions. From the bottom of my heart I congratulate them, this is a clear victory!
I have loved this pair for so long. It is amazing how they have changed into the mature, polished skaters they are now from the young, rough-around -the-edges jumping beans they were 10 years ago. It has been an incredible journey for fans to watch them evolve during the past 10 years. I love them so much! As amazing as Sui is, Han is the true leader of this pair. I have NEVER seen him make an individual mistake, he presents Sui
So beautifully and his expressiveness on the ice is unmatched. I am so relieved for them that they were able to finally win Olympic gold at the culmination of their career!
