For a learner, certainly.However, we Catalan native speakers often speak quite fast. But, TBH, normally not as fast as some phrases in the video.

Efectivamente, en catalán cuando la e no va acentuada se lee como a. Igualmente pasa con la o, cuando no va acentuada se lee como u
