Thanks for the screen shot of the parameters and explanation.. I got the JackieRC programmer box recently and it literally came with no instructions and could not figure out what the parameters meant. Thanks again, VERY HELPFUL!
So, I went your route before finding your video. Got the drivers installed, everything looked good but it just wouldn't talk to the car no matter what. Then, in your video, I noticed that you did not have a green wire between the white and red on the cable from the adapter to the car as I did. So I removed the green wire from the USB side connector and like magic it all just worked. I also noticed I had an older version of the programmer, so your download fixed that. Much appreciate the video. Long live mini-z! Buying Kyosho's solution might be worth the price after all this work! LOL.
I'm just catching up with uour videos as I have been busy. I'm am truly shocked that no one, 12 days after posting this video, has even said thank you for the work you did here. After watching this I decided I want to try a Mini Z and now have a MA030Evo on preorder. The nice thing is that this version of the software will work with an MA030Evo or an MR03Evo and I'm looking forward to using my NB4 pro with one of those little rockets. Your Google Drive link made the download a breeze. Your channel may not have 30k subs but you are appreciated by many of us👍🤝🙌

Dude, I've despised YT for years until getting into MZ's. Your videos have completely turned my perception around on the entire platform. You're right, this was WAY more confusing that it needed to be and I appreciate your video explaining it. I did make the mistake of buying the much more expensive Kyosho one though.
Yeh definitely agree with both, I think TH-cam and Facebook can be both awful and fantastic you just need to find the right places to be, and yeh definitely way more complex than it need to be, the android option is so much easier to use though :)

Yup, very helpful indeed, thanks very much. I tested with the car OFF, since I saw a red light illuminated, but it didn't work (errors). Tried again with car turned ON (made sure to have the Tx On as well (but not sure whether required or not) and then all worked fine...I would imagine that most of these fine tuning options can be done with a high end Tx (Futaba). Much thanks again!
The tx can't control most of the options you can change with ICS, some of them but you definitely need the ics software to set them mini z up right :) oh the tx doesn't need to be on for ICS software.

When I plug in my adapter my computer dings but it doesn’t show up in the device manager/other devices doesn’t even pop up. Using windows 10 so far so good until now
@@WTFRCCars I think I have it installed, I’ve been trying to do this on my mr03ve pro. I just plugged in my ma030 evo and opened ip the ics manager and it read the car no problem. Back to my mr03 and ics program says data reception failed check the connection or com port (steering). It’s crazy it had no problem finding the evo

So there are a good few different versions of the Kyosho ics software for different versions of the mini z but you would have to look on Kyosho site to find one listed for the mini z you have but the adaptor should work for any so long as it uses the same plug
@WTFRCCars "they're" and it's not mini zee, that's just the way Americans say it. It's a Japanese developed scale, thanks to Kyosho and it's the letter zed. So, british mini zed. Unless you're one of those American chaps who likes to butcher the English language with lazy diction.

I have the Ko prop board. Does it have the option or can you program it to run with Brushed motor instead of brushless motor?
No the rtr board in the mini z will not run a brushless motor

Yes you do have to press the bind button as you power on but not sure if it will work for the new evo's as I don't have one to try yet
