Haha Ring a Ring o’ Roses is “define as a game played by children in an open field”. It’s certainly not a word, it is a nursery/ folksong or song sang by children in the playground . It goes like this Ring a Ring’ o Roses (ring around the roses) a pocket full of posies, a-tishoo a-tishoo we all fall down. The song already from the plague (European Ebola) that almost wiped out Europe population. Nigerians always love things like this....”English” people in parliament or universities don’t talk with grammar, they talk in proper English language everyone understands. It sounds funny when Nigerians use these big words to to prove their intellectual ability.

I think d man himself knows that, he's just giving us comic relief in this our already tensed country. He's just A comedian. But he does his stuff with style. Mind you, he's not a grammarian, but sesquipedalian. A grammarian is someone who is concerned with sentences construction and the use of tenses while sesquipedalian is a person who over uses big words.

how does reading translate to the crap that he is speaking? isn't it better to use simple English language to pass his message to the people, instead of confusing himself with grammars that don't make sense. Only in Nigeria or should I say, in Africa, that people like these are glorified!!!

This 'prof'sadly missed the correct pronunciations of many words in his so called grammar. eg kowtow is pronounced kao tao not koo too. Similarly powwow is pronounced paowao.
I appreciate the fact this is meant to be a comedy but knowing Nigerians for who they are they will follow this trend and start speaking 'dictionary English' instead of normal conversational English

If you really want to communicate, speak in a language your audience will easily understand. People you target with your saying do not have time to read dictionary. Too much grammar make you look like a clown to them. As P
