Something to note and be clear of, The counter step is After "When Attacking" effects trigger and "When you opponent attacks" effects of yours that would trigger. Then Counter, Then block step. Remember this for your locals.
as someone thats just coming into the game, these budget deck videos (most of the videos you've put up about the game really) have been fantastic to watch it would be great to see - if viable - you come back to some of your older budget decks like the Gallantmon budget deck and share your thoughts on how to update it with new cards
I saw them at my lgs and I couldn't resist. I picked both decks up and I have no qlue how to play lol. It looks a bit complicated but I'm sure the Gabumon will be the deck I want to learn. The art is amazing, it felt like a blast from the past when opening them
One side note: i live in brazil. Digimon been around here since the west release...but...its a third world country. So a deck here( any starter) costs a fortune. 😢 When i read" budget", a deck like this is completely expensive here. Maybe a quarter of minimum wage. This reminds me of the beginings of yugioh in the US when there were some cards with 1850 atk that where in some tournament booster for winner. It was rare and the person who got it had a crazy advantage over the competition. As for digimon, we kinda have our own " poor country meta" with the " cards that we can find due to scarcity". And try to play with what we got....like the prison arc from YUGIOH 5DS . Also i loved the deck list and ill try to emulate as best as i can. Thx for the great video and content
Its not a bad deck, but the king etemon poop deck is much better as a black blockers deck tbh. The Ace Garurumon deck is the safer investment since we're gonna eventually get the Garumon X-antibody cards which send the deck into override with how many draws and security checks it can pull off.
So I am not a competitive player but I played with this list do you think upgrading it with MetalGreymon Ace and WarGreymon BT14 in addition to black and red Agumon + greymon is a good idea as I have an idea for a blast digivolve list
No cap the 4 cost option, isnt bad. Its allowed me to unsuspend HiAndromon while protecting MetalGreymon or WarGreymon. Especially when going against MetalGarurumon with retaliation
If they already know everyone has to buy 2 of these to get an actual good deck, would it be a good move on Bandai to just set it up to have 4 of each card and charge a little more for it?
How do the starter decks compare to making a Hunters or Red Hybrid Deck in terms of performance? Between the Graymon and Garurumon Ace decks which one is better?
Hunters and Red Hybrid are very good for competitive play on a budget compared to these new starter decks. Both the Greymon and Garurmon decks are fairly similar but require quite a bit of extra cards to make it competitive. As of right now, Greymon is more competitively viable but Garurumon will also become incredibly strong when EX5 drops.
I would skip a second copy and just pick up the missing singles online. Personally would start by grabbing extras of the Agumon line that they only give you two of for some reason.
Most people will suggest just picking up the singles in lieu of the second box, but you'll probably have to wait a week for the singles to actually post at a reasonable price. These pre release prices on the singles for rares/SRs that you only get 2 of are all listed more collectively than just buying the second one.
Agumon (black) has loads of support available and will always be competitively viable. Gabumon (purple) is a bit awkward right now with the current cards not supporting the new ones very well but gets tons of really good support in two boxes (ex5)
Something to note and be clear of, The counter step is After "When Attacking" effects trigger and "When you opponent attacks" effects of yours that would trigger. Then Counter, Then block step. Remember this for your locals.
Thanks for adding the clarification!
That is correct, I had to explain counter and how the new attack steps go to a few players.
I love that ClearAgumon is just ToyAgumon but made of translucent plastic, while BlackToyAgumon is just made of black Legos

Bought 2 starter decks of each courage and friendship, cant wait for the full powered videos.
A lot of the cards in this starter would work really well for BWGX
I am hype for this second black drck! I love the blockers.

Can't wait for Metalgarurumon

Hey guys! Check out the FULL POWER version right here!
th-cam.com/video/cx9PY0RpEWo/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=AVAULT
The box topper ones have gold text embossed for ace and the name. The ST ones don't.
There's also no reminder text for Blocker on the boxtopper version
The print in terms of color is brighter and less saturated too.

Can’t wait to test out some of these cards in my machinedramon deck
Is there a discord to learn on how to play
Isnt it weird that the boxes for these have been a certain size, only to get smaller and then get even bigger then their original size?
ClearAgumon just seems to be a transparent version.
No cap the 4 cost option, isnt bad. Its allowed me to unsuspend HiAndromon while protecting MetalGreymon or WarGreymon. Especially when going against MetalGarurumon with retaliation
How does bt01 shin manzaemon work?
Can people give me where you'd rank these 2 new decks vs the other structure decks right out of the box.
just received mine!
I dont get thw evolve from greymon cost 3.
Doesnt already had a cost of 3? Or im wrong?
He can evolve on top of a greymon of any color for 3
Updated deck list with the structure deck and past cards please.
If they already know everyone has to buy 2 of these to get an actual good deck, would it be a good move on Bandai to just set it up to have 4 of each card and charge a little more for it?
I actually don't mind having to pay more just to have everything in one deck! Not too sure why they don't just do that.
I guess no upgraded version

What sleeve do you recommend new to the game
I personally use KMC Inner Sleeves and Dragon Shield for my outer sleeves!
@@AVAULT kmc?
How good/competitive will 2x decks be? And what upgrades should I consider

First? Im excited to get these new starter decks.
It's nice to finally have a good black agumon but why is there still no warp digivolve agumon like bruh
There is an option that allows you to warp and a Wargreymon that allows you to warp into it coming in BT14
If I am a newer players looking to 2x a Starter, would this one or the Friendship one going to be more competitive? Thanks!

Full powered version deck update? Lol
Breakthrough of courage aka “subway” aka “5 dollar foot long” lol if anybody else see it
I'd say play the full 4 ToyAgumon and only 3 Solarmon. The Solarmon is fine but far less useful than that extra blocker can be.
$40 for one starter deck?
For 2
