@@DalelCampbell singing melody while rotem plays wild chord harmonies underneath feels like riding a horse that starts galloping, and you just start holding onto the reins as tightly as possible so you don’t fall off hahaha. I’m just trying to sing the melody as clearly as possible no matter what he plays underneath.. some of it is quite unexpected, but all of the chords he plays harmonize nicely with the melody so I never get fully thrown off the horse. 😊
It is so cool to hear a real person helping with singing - not just using a recorded piece. It gives this video an analog feeling and makes it way more beautiful!
Rotem man you got my beautiful little darling Gracie with you, now that is cool! She has taught this old man some music. Plus, she's a good mother Thx for this lesson
The problem with a lot of jazz today is there is not enough vocals. Hence… can get a little snoozy to the masses. You two need to do a record together. You crushed it!! 🎙 🎸☮️
Woohoo! So fun recording this with you Rotem!! 😊😊
so fun!!!
Would love to know your experience as a vocalist singing with these increasingly complex accompaniments?

I'm struggling to understand flat VI degrees both practically and theoretically. Are they substitutions or do they have a specific harmonic function?
