We're shaking out a lot of weak hands now. Once the chain opens back up, we'll see another price tumble from the paper hands. Diamonds are formed under pressure. My conviction hasn't been shaken.
The price of $TAO - it’s not stable and is currently going down at a rapid pace. At what point is there enough demand to see a price rise and why aren’t we seeing that demand now?
I have way too many thoughts on this, I'll try to keep to only the most important! 1. We have to remember that bittensor hasn't even had it's first halving yet. This means it's inflating at quite a high rate (something like 40%?). It's inflating at the same rate that bitcoin did during it's first 4 years. From this perspective it seems like a bad thing to buy if you want it short-term, and bitcoin wasn't a great thing to keep short term during it's first 4 years either. But if you're planning on hodling for a while (or at least until the end of this bull-run) then you're probably fine. 2. Despite being a crypto for a few years now, Bittensor is very very new. The addition of subnets is less than a year old. Pre-subnets it was basically purely only an AI-crypto, no concept of markets or much innovation was happening relative to now. In Bitcoin's first few years it was ultra volatile, it was hacked many times and I believe Satoshi even forked it once to recover. 3. All alt-coins follow BTC, they're basically leveraged versions of BTC. Bittensor is no different, for now. 4. Bittensor is extremely hard to understand, and has basically no marketing behind it. I'm doing my best to help on this front! Personally, I'm glad that prices are this low still, allows us to DCA for a bit longer at these juicy prices! I have a video coming out soon about where I think TAO's value comes from which might be enlightening too.
@@TAOTemplar Thank you for your lengthy, detailed response. It’s very helpful. They do need to market better and your videos are actually very helpful. Bitcoin got away without marketing as the first mover but now there are hundreds of coins and hundreds of scams and it’s hard for novice crypto investors to distinguish between quality and “vaporware”.

For 5 days the Tao chain has been sthet, I'm slowly getting restless.
Tao is work in progress and will be huge these coming months.
