Another great video veloccie, tho I must ask and I must say, I have been trying to get onto prior extinction for a while...now, I am on console (xbox to be more specific) and everytime I log into prior extinction I can only go as far as the tutorial and even when I am in the tutorial, my xbox controller just does not, and I repeat, does not work with the game. The most I can do when I log into the game is literally just just scroll up and down the main menu and click things. That is about all I can do ever time I go onto prior extinction. Does anyone else who is consoles have this issue. If so I would very much appreciate an answer as to what I need to do etc? Honestly tho, it disappoints me that for some reason the game doesn't like my xbox controller. Whenever I do go start the tutorial and the game tells me do this, this and this, it just doesn't work. For Prior Extinction, certain dinosaurs like spino and rex are not playable at the moment and are coming in later updates. They are playable in sandbox if you purchase the unreleased content gamepass.
Some things you should know about Prior Extinction is the dinos you mentioned such as, Spino and Rex are not out yet. Spino will be coming soon with the upcoming Aquatic update and trex with the Hell Creek update which is faaar to come. Wildfires are also not released and we dont really have a date on when they will come.
You could have mentioned Dinosaur Arcade. It does have a blocky, but realistic design, aside from the Mesozoic creatures, there are creatures from other eras, like Dimetrodon, Mammoth and Jaekelopterus (these are exclusive from a event called "Era Expansion", they always come back once a year), and EVERY creature have an ability that either are damage dealing or a support ability. And to make the game more unique, it even have some robot enemies, the Mayhem. They come in 4 varieties, 2 of them being exclusive to the Bloodmoon, they are like mini-boss and a boss.

I definitely would say that Prior Extinction is one of my most played games when it comes to dinosaurs. I recently just mastered Deinocheirus and I’m loving the gameplay (although it’s basically just sitting in a swamp and occasionally migrating to someplace new)
Tbh I prefer prior extinction over Pot because it doesn't get boring when alone you often get Hunted and you seem to get targeted more when your in a group witch makes it really fun. I also like the well-being system because it makes the game more interesting on your own. Much better then collecting 25 button mushrooms. I also enjoy the clunky combat system similar to pot. However, it does have its issues like having no community servers witch means there is tons of kos going on and has a lack of Verity when it comes to playables I enjoy playing as a sea creature or a pterasour in pot but in prior extinction it's mostly just dinosaurs (I say mostly because they have big dragon fly but it is not very fun to play at all)

I've met another adult and I invited him in my pack (max 3). My wellbeing was messed up because I accidentally have eaten a corpse of another Yangchuanosaurus. So I had to consume my preferred food ASAP to fix my massive food and water drainage + max health. Long story short, we spotted a medioca pack made out of 4 Parasaurolophus. 2 being adults and 2 subs. I charged a smaller one with a charged strongest bite in the game, aimed to his front, avoiding their rear end and with my first hit I broke his head. (In this game when your head breaks you will keep your head awkwardly downwards). From that point it was easy to target the injured one and destroyed him. The pack was trying to protect but we took the risk and we had food for another 2 days. Great game. Bit buggy but the dev team is doing a great work to be honest.

I've played all 3 free ones, and I have to say Prior Extinction is by far the best in just about every regard. It's got so much coming for it, it's got fictional dinosaurs, awesome models, and a solid team. I just love the game so much, and will absolutely do more content on it.
I like that you mentioned Prehistoria. They will add more dinosaurs in future like Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Stegosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Pachyrhinosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Deinocheirus, Gallimimus, Triceratops, Dreadnoughtus, Acrocanthosaurus, Carnotaurus, Halzskaarptor, Beelzebufo, Atopodentatus, Microraptor, Iguanodon, Therizinosaurus, Struthiomimus.
Replace DWM with Dinosaur Arcade, then you have a good list. Prehistory should be an honorable mention, it is just overshadowed by ones that are better than it.
Heres a list of pros and cons for anyone who is intrested in trying prior extinction Pros: nice scenery along with a realistic survivel where you have wellbeing requierments such as staying clean using your dino's prefered bathing methood along with eating your prefered food and sleeping depending on the type of the dino and keeping your social up by staying near packmates and away from danger and staying in your prefered biomes with right temparetures that will greatlybuff your dino stats. And some dinos have special abilitys or third attacks and some have both the game also offers realstick pvp not only in headshots or body shots also depending where you hit you might break a bone and each one has its own nerfs the wors is body fracture since you take alot of dmg if you run aswell as small updates weekly with new skins and bug fixes and sometimes new tlc and major updates evry 5 months that offer a huge number of new dinos and remodels and for the next update(rise and fall part 2) a map thats nearly the size of the path of titans one. Cons: alot of mix packing (its roblox what did you expect) Game crashing at the worst times (its roblox what did you expect) Extremly long masterys so you can buy a dino and some dinos require more then one dinos mastery and some require a mastery of a dino that is a mastery reward
im actually so happy prior extinction is getting the recognition it deserves, it has so many new exciting updates to come and i play it loads. if you havent played it already you should!
I would like to mention that, atleast if you live in an EU region, ping is usually going to sit at an average of 150-300ms. Games will still be very much playable, but you'll have to live with some drawbacks. Usually the combat gets butchered the most.
ive been playing prior extinction for like 1,5 years now, and ive gotta say. its pretty beautiful. but it can be annoying sometimes but i do reccomend it for other players. it has an isle-like approach with alot more UI and stuff.
A lot of the Animalmodels from Prior Extinction look wayyy better than PoT or TI in my Opinion. A Game i am going to check out. But tbh, i have never even played one Second of Roblox. I am from another Decade i guess :D Looks great. My YT Alg. was flooded with Prior Extinction Clips the last Weeks.
actually there is 3 versions of Prior Extinction and iy's a preaty grindy game tbh, they have a discord and they are doing work non-stop, but still there isn't much to coz you play and when you grow up a yang or other dinos will most likly kill you if you'r not carefull coz it has like: the more amber(game money) dino costs, the more it will damage + spino rex and brachi aren't availible and won't be soon, they are for future updates, but i gotta say animations are better even than PoT ones, they don't have that thing were your leg moves unnaturally coz you go too fast or too slow, and there is a new udate wich was like a week before, and there we a lot of hype and dinos on releas, also there is a good game pre-history wich has less than 10 players allways but it is a good one, also prehistoria is made by a one guy(last time i cheked)

the true gem of roblox dinosaur games is era of terror. It's sadly broken rn but they're working on fixing it, and also era of terror 2 is in the works as well i recommend looking up Era of Terror on youtube and watching some videos on it.

yes they are in the game but the tree climbing is very janky and is being re-done. the corpses can be carried, and there are a couple stages: 1: the entire body is held comfortably in the mouth. this is when the body weighs much less than what is carrying it. 2: the entire body is held, but is dragged along. this is when the weight is too much to pick up fully. 3: only a chunk is picked up. this is when the weight is too much to even drag.
There is a bear trap mechanic (yangchuanosaurus) as well as intimidation (gigantoraptor), thick coat (beiapiaosaurus), wet food and wrath (deinocheirus), claw wellbeing (therizinosaurus) etc
All of these dinosaur games are cool but prior extinction some dinosaurs have biome restrictions which is bad because when you leave your preferred biome you die how does that happen and the spino is ugly in that game for DWM it’s good with tons of dinosaurs pterosaurs and aquatic reptiles and for prehistoria it doesn’t have much dinosaurs not even Tyrannosaurus but Tenontosaurus in that game is good but great video with these roblox dinosaur game plus that bonus one I love the content!
Apparently prior extinction is moving to unreal engine this year and they’re leaving roblox I’m honestly really excited prior extinctions models and animations are absolutely amazing and it’s genuinely a well thought out game

I hate limited things, I will quit a game on roblox if it has limiteds and I quit so many games due to limiteds, but beasts is bermuda is too good to quit but i will be a big palaeophis main and since it’s gonna be new the only limited skin it will have is the donator skin but I didn’t donate so hopefully I will be able to have every other skin on palaeophis :)

Imo prior extinction is excellent once it comes to gameplay, despite focusing on realism, as DWM has a diverse amount of dinosaurs. Keep in mind that this is my opinion.
All showed games including prior extinction (which is the best free dinosaur roblox by far) are BAD Games that are fun and free and especially worth mentioning are Era of Terror and Dinosaur Arcade. And I'll mention about Hell Creek, very nostalgic

prior extinction was my introduction to dinosaur games in general. I'll always go back to it every so often. I like the game alot

Prior is very fun but some of the dinos are very hard to obtain such as Apatosaurus and stegosaurus

All of these dinosaur games are cool but prior extinction some dinosaurs have biome restrictions which is bad because when you leave your preferred biome you die how does that happen and the spino is ugly in that game for DWM it’s good with tons of dinosaurs pterosaurs and aquatic reptiles and for prehistoria it doesn’t have much dinosaurs not even Tyrannosaurus but Tenontosaurus in that game is good but great video with these roblox dinosaur game plus that bonus one I love the content!

prior extinction is arguably the best one out of them all. sadly though the game has an INTENSE end game grind. its the reason i stopped playing.
I hate limited things, I will quit a game on roblox if it has limiteds and I quit so many games due to limiteds, but beasts is bermuda is too good to quit but i will be a big palaeophis main and since it’s gonna be new the only limited skin it will have is the donator skin but I didn’t donate so hopefully I will be able to have every other skin on palaeophis :)

@@czarneplucaFF oh. My bad. If you don't mind me asking how is pe bad? It has some flaws but it isn't really bad. There are actually objectives and the grinding isn't too insane like pot or the isle. Pot takes too long to grow and stuff. The isle has nothing to really accomplish
