That’s all I want from a dinosaur game. Realism like most games it’s not important but in survival games making the models react naturally is important
i know everyone looks at games like this and goes "this is like the isle" but with this i genuinely feel like there is more heart put into making an actual GAME, with the quest system always giving you something to do other than sitting in a bush for hours on end and a map that isn't just empty stretches of land that takes forever to get anywhere
@Adam Jarenius i'd take that over "sit in a bush for 12 hours" to go from baby to slighting bigger baby only to then die of starvation because the map is so massive that hardly anyone sees each other
@Adam Jarenius 1. every single time i play it it takes forever to do anything, the map is so wide and empty that it takes forever to get anywhere, there isn't even that many interesting land marks to spice up the scenery, just grassy hills and trees, it's been a while since i last played though, have they added more stuff in the map? 2. that's a nice way to avoid camping, but even then there is still nothing to really do other than walk around, the path of titans method at least gives you SOMETHING 3. bit behind on updates, what has been changed? 4. when ever i played i always starved to death because there was no one around and when ever i watched videos of gameplay the same thing usually happened, unless here are now a lot more people playing it now than they did back then

I know I’m kinda late, but I watched the life of a dog called basil like ten times, cried every single time because I have a beagle that’s almost exactly like basil, except less grumpy and doesn’t eat crap lol. So I guess in a weird way thank you for making that vid. Love the content!
My 5 year old Beagle also died this Feb. It was also tough for me. I really feel what GamingBeaver went through. Beagles are not the sweetest types of dogs but you can feel their love for you.

Only catch is, they are fleshing out some of the stuff coming for later (growth, nesting) but they actually talk with and listen to the community. They honestly have some of the best devs they work so hard to keep the updates rolling out. Worth the $ honestly whether pc or mobile
This game has consistently surprised me over the past few months of making videos on it. Its really shaping up to be a fantastic alternative to The Isle, and the consistent updates are also really promising!
This game also has modded maps and creatures, in fact the guy who made the desert map in the isle put it in this game instead, and theres a tropical map too. They also have minor details like your dino getting wet when coming out of the water and if you look at their bellies you can see them breathing, and they breath faster if you sprint. Its little details like that that make this game worth playing imo. Check out 8:11 and look at Beaver's spino's side belly. Also at 9:40 what Beaver said about shaking, there are actually more emotes in this game, I think defaulted to number 5 and so on, theres a shake, stretch, look around, etc.
The fact that you can change sub-species, as well as the gender of your dinosaur makes this game so cool! The dinosaurs look amazing as well. Best dinosaur survival game so far? I don't know. There is some tough competition, like that roblox survival game with the definitely not annoying chicken scream! That may be a tie...
I think, each dinosaur game is awesome in its own way. Though in the future, we'll have a large variety of dinosaur games and I'm excited to play them all!
It’s cool to cuz on community servers they host events like migration (gotta make it to point a to point be with only 3 lives) or hatchling event (you have to be a male with a female , make eggs and ppl can choose that specific dino and become your baby , but the carni’s have to try and kill ‘em while the parent protect you feed you and help you grow 😊 super cool game , I highly suggest 😊😊
the good news it would likely not even bother with something so puny. And with increasing evidence that they were mostly aquatic and adapted to a primarily fish based diet, you may be able to sh*t yerself and escape with yer life. XD

They are so funny and interresting and when im sad bcs bad things happen i remember you swimming in the lake as a dryo with spinosaurus. Im so glad to have a TH-camr like you😊
The most populated place is corpse Cove and grassland lake, you can do quest like acorns, mushrooms, and nuts, but if u don't have them as quest you won't be able to pick them up and those green leaves on the map are waystones were you can invite your friend through them to teleport them to you when they die and everytime u complete a quest you get coins and you can upgrade skins with them
Oh my goodness, the graphics and models of this game is amazing! You can really tell the people who worked in this put a lot of effort in it. Like WOW I hope more online dinosaur games get created!
I felt that way before evrima dropped. Then Evrima happened and I tried PoT. Playing PoT and seeing frequent updates with working systems really makes one rethink and look back on some things Isle devs have said.
The isle Evrima is an actual survival game even though both are in development. path of titans is a weird MMO that is basically trolling other players ( killing them to set their growth back 1 hour ). the hunger and other survival aspects of the game are EASY MODE at best. you don't have to eat at all very often so most killings are whats basically trolling. spino's and other top end carnivores group up with herbis and protect them due to the fact hunger is pretty much not a thing. once you kill an adult they respawn as an adult and general chat KOS you and well yeah you get the point. all in all play path of titans for a less serious game, and the isle evrima for a hardcore more realistic term.

@@c.springerguy1270 it’s important to me because I could have had the chance to talk to the guy who I watched as a kid and still watch as a teen. That’s why I regret thinking it wasn’t actually beaver, think of it like this, think of a friend you’ve known for years maybe even decades. Then all of the sudden he puts on a disguise and comes up to you and says he’s your new neighbor and he’ll be living next to you for the time being, then you both start hanging out and talking to each other, over the course of a few months you still don’t realize he or she is actually your friend who you’ve known for years. Then all the sudden he comes up to you one day and reveals it’s him. The end result is you feeling really silly and stupid because of the shear fact that they both had the same personality attributes and kinks. That’s how I felt the moment I saw this video.
A lot of people hang around in hotspots like the area you finally came to. There's also Grassland Lake, the lake on the left side of the map. I've heard of gaming channels that have played PoT get flamed by The Isle and Dondi and getting banned from using Hypo/exclusive dinos. Rip Beavers chances of ever playing a hypo dino ever again. Dondi doesn't take fair consumerism or criticism very well.

hey beaver, quick heads up. You called the genus a species and the species a subspecies. So for example tyrannosaurus is the genus, and rex is the species. An example of a subspecies would be the panthera tigris altaica, that is the siberian tiger, a subspecies of the tiger (panthera tigris).

The stats do indeed change between subspecies, it’s more noticeable when actually comparing the gameplay but it’s not as noticeable when customizing

This game has had some major updates recently and I didn't think it would be as good as it is, but it surprised me.
Hi James! Im really happy you re back with your survival dino games content. They have really helped me while my guarantine(sadly, i had covid😞). They are so funny and interresting and when im sad bcs bad things happen i remember you swimming in the lake as a dryo with spinosaurus. Im so glad to have a TH-camr like you😊
The most populated place is corpse Cove and grassland lake, you can do quest like acorns, mushrooms, and nuts, but if u don't have them as quest you won't be able to pick them up and those green leaves on the map are waystones were you can invite your friend through them to teleport them to you when they die and everytime u complete a quest you get coins and you can upgrade skins with them

I felt that way before evrima dropped. Then Evrima happened and I tried PoT. Playing PoT and seeing frequent updates with working systems really makes one rethink and look back on some things Isle devs have said.

The isle Evrima is an actual survival game even though both are in development. path of titans is a weird MMO that is basically trolling other players ( killing them to set their growth back 1 hour ). the hunger and other survival aspects of the game are EASY MODE at best. you don't have to eat at all very often so most killings are whats basically trolling. spino's and other top end carnivores group up with herbis and protect them due to the fact hunger is pretty much not a thing. once you kill an adult they respawn as an adult and general chat KOS you and well yeah you get the point.
all in all play path of titans for a less serious game, and the isle evrima for a hardcore more realistic term.

I’ve been watch beaver for years and I wasn’t able to tell if he was a fake or not. Man that really sucks.
Why is that important at all? I mean he would have made the game no matter if you had recognized him as the real youtuber or not. I do not think you should regret anything. After all he is just a normal person and spaming someone in group chat is something only kids do.
@@c.springerguy1270 it’s important to me because I could have had the chance to talk to the guy who I watched as a kid and still watch as a teen. That’s why I regret thinking it wasn’t actually beaver, think of it like this, think of a friend you’ve known for years maybe even decades. Then all of the sudden he puts on a disguise and comes up to you and says he’s your new neighbor and he’ll be living next to you for the time being, then you both start hanging out and talking to each other, over the course of a few months you still don’t realize he or she is actually your friend who you’ve known for years. Then all the sudden he comes up to you one day and reveals it’s him. The end result is you feeling really silly and stupid because of the shear fact that they both had the same personality attributes and kinks. That’s how I felt the moment I saw this video.
A lot of people hang around in hotspots like the area you finally came to. There's also Grassland Lake, the lake on the left side of the map.
However, it might change soon as there will be updates in the coming weeks that might force everybody to move around. Then we can call it survival more :P
