Removing the hard skin is only treating the symptoms of the problem and not the actual cause. If you do not improve the padding and cushioning for your foot, if you do not improve the moisturizing of your foot, there is a good chance you will keep getting hard skin.
Routine hard skin removal is useful to help reduce foot pain and keep your feet feeling smooth and healthy!
Oh, for those who like routine nail cutting...there is that too in this video!!!
Bye, bye hard skin bump.
Love,
The Toe Bro

Done! I wish I could come up there to let you do one of my toes but I'm in Texas. I have fungus and an ingrown on the same nail. I'm a disabled Veteran and the VA hasn't done a good job at taking care of it so it just keeps coming back. Anyway, I love your channel and can't wait to see the content on your new channel! ❤️
Can't wait to see what you have to offer on your new channel! XD

Done and done 😆 love all your videos Jonathon....what a difference it has made to my feet and my husbands feet. Way to go!
Hey Toe bro years ago when i was about maybe 11 years old which was in like 1977 a friend of mine and i was in a shoe store. The guy in the store told me something that has stuck with me ever since then. He said your feet stand up for you all the time. So when buying shoes you need to stand up for your feet. So it might cost more for the shoes and a good insole but in the end its better on your feet. So i tell people to make sure epically people at work to get good shoes. I work in a manufacturing plant so we are on our feet at least 8 hrs a day. Im 53 now and ive been standing on concrete floors a long time so good shoes and good insoles. I was wondering if you recommend any type of special shoe or insole for standing all day. By the way i love your channel you are a great foot Dr. Thanks.
I am glad I wasn't the only one who watched cows getting pedicures to now be recommended this
Wow we made the same journey 😳😂
Lmao same here from cows to this to pimple poppers.
This was on my home page. Lol
Hello fellow traveler
I'm 2 days new to that and I'm here too now
am I the only one who never watched cows having pedicures.. it just randomly suggested me this randomly ahah
U arent the only one
Same here, but I did watch that girl get ingrown toenails out.
Same
Nope
I watch 'The Hoof GP regularly!!! Love bovine and that farrier!!
Coming in from hoofcare videos, it's weird to hear the patient talking, but the gentle nature and how much you care really does shine though, and that's why I'm watching.
" it's weird to hear the patient talking"
Thank you so much for this laugh, I so needed this today!!!
Moo?
"Coming from hoofcare videos, it's weird to hear the patient talking"....this made my day. I haven't laughed like this in a long time.
I love their conversation, the patient sounds like an adorable older gentleman. Gotta get his feet ready for his cruise! So cute. Lol
It started with videos of cows getting their hoofs shaved. YT has decided I'm ready for the next level.
EDIT: It appears "jigger digging" may be the final level.
exactly same with me :D
me too XD
It’s all a part of the master plan.
I love the cow thing. Randomly came across it and it’s so fascinating to me. Glad I’m not the only one. 🙃
omg you too!
If you were looking for something way different and ended up with this clap your hands *clap clap*
No I didn't search for this but what I did search for is how to trim horses hooves and this is what I got😳
👏👏
👏👏

My satisfying lists:
Bone-cracking, earwaxing, dentistry, pimple popping, and now hoof care. This one will be in my list too.
Oh my badness! Me too on all except I dont watch hooves
Bone cracking??
He meant chiropractic
My dad had corns under his calluses. I remember as a 5 year old going to Los Angeles from our home 17 miles away to see Dr. Sandy, my dad's chiropodist, to watch him treat my dad's feet, probably 67 years ago. I always found it fascinating!
It's midnight, and I'm watching a man get his foot corn removed.
Me rn
it’s 1:15 and i’m watching it lol
It's 1:25am at mine

1:33am and I have class tmr🤣🤣
The fact that you can focus on cutting into this man’s foot while also paying constant attention to what he is is saying and actively respond to him is mind blowing to me.
I would bite my lip and continuously go "hnnnnnnnnnmmmmp ffffh" during every procedure. No way anyone would come again lol...
even more mind blowing when you're doing a surgery inside the body
practice practice practice
The power of multitasking.
It's a distracting technique. Patients mind is on the cruise less on the foot.
Wow...listening him talk about Keto was amazing. His lack of understanding was mind blowing.
Yes this is usually the ignorant persons take on keto or low carb 😂
It's always a great gift to listen to an elder Human being. They really do possess wisdom. All you have to do is take it or leave it... Life is tough and it shows in those who have walked the path long enough. Despite what they may have suffered while walking that path, at least they have the ability to share what they have learned along the way, in order to help us on our way.
“Yours goes unbelievably deep” followed by “you never forget your first time”. Hilarious, Toe Bro
🤣🤣🤣
Should this unlock my dirty mind again like it has now?
That’s what he said 😏😏😏😏
DJ KHALLUS!!
WE DUH DEEPEST!!
*Ill see myself out*
OMG that was amazing
Hahaha ur hilarious!! Awesome
Fucking made my day HAHAHAHAHA
I wheezed so hard i almost died 😂😂😂
😂
Doing a skilled and fascinating procedure on a patient with skilled and interesting things to say. A real gem, a gift for viewers.
An absolute transformation with Mr chatting away .warms my heart indeed .
I decide to watch a girl get her ingrown nails out once and then this happens.
Ahah exactly what happened to me
Yo, same
Same lol
Same same
Samme
Watching this sometimes makes me wonder how ancient societies dealt with foot care and how it effected their day to day lives
Not just the ancients. How about anyone pre-local anesthetic? I can't imagine biting on a stick while someone fixed my ingrown toenail or dug out a corn, etc. Eeeek. Or pulled a tooth, for that matter. So only go back 100 years or so, maybe less.
Modern shoes are a lot of the problem.
@@ancientsgate Maybe you could not bit a stick while pulling a tooth. Eeeeek again !
@@orange57plus I know, right? Maybe a few sips from the whiskey flask?
@@ancientsgate Yep ! I can’t take anti-inflammatory drugs for medical reasons. When I have pain somewhere, I squeeze my teeth... except when my teeth hurt !!!
Boy... I couldn't see having any more fun in my life than going on a "Vegan Cruise".
Thanks! Watching you get the corn out gave me the technique and courage to dig out a corn that I have just been trimming for months. I used an Xacto knife with a fresh #10 blade shaped much like your scalpel.
And welcome to another edition of Where Quarantine has Taken me Today

He..he..he.. I’ve literally become a TH-cam junky because of Covid
You're not alone. I started out with Dr. Pimple Popper, then I moved unto feet doctor. What's next?
So I didn’t watch cows hoofs being cleaned but ended up watching this.
Watch it
Omg🤣
😂😂😂
TH-cam took me down that path too
Nice
You’re very kind doctor.I wish there’s more doctor like you.
The patient is such a sweetheart 🥺❤️
It’s amazing that you cut that deep without making him bleed. That is indeed skill grasshopper!
Right
I thought so too! How was that not painful?
@@sheilam1918 - It's just dry skin. No nerves or blood vessels.
I used to have thick as hell callous's on my finger tips from playing in band. You'd be surprised how much build dead skin build up there is in a callus before it hurts.

I love to watch the procedures. Very fascinating.
I've just watched a different callous scraping. The other guy was hacking away at the poor persons foot! Looked like he didn't care and just wanted to get the job finished. The way you work and your bedside manner is fantastic. You care about your patients and worry about hurting them. You're a gentleman xx

Eu tbm estou igual a vc kkkkkk
Thank you for all of the great information toe bro :D Anyone who helps heal others of their pain is doing something special, so I really appreciate it
That corn goes so deep. Wow, that must have been painful to walk on. Thank goodness for skilled professionals like you who can help others with these kinds of issues.
This is exactly why I take care of my feet. My dad was a letter carrier for 20+ years and his feet gave me nightmares.
What’s your foot care regimen?
Me too , it's not worth saving a few quid on your feet!
how do u do it pls I want to prevent anymore calluses
if you work on your feet, there will be damage no matter what.
@@bigssmoke2003 hmmm. I don’t know much about this type of stuff but I don’t think you can “prevent” calluses. Callus is a build up of skin where that area is being used or worn down often. That’s why you pretty much only see calluses on hands and feet. If you do have a bad case of it, you can buy shavers for calluses or something alike it. Or you can buy Dr. Scholl’s Liquid Corn and Callus remover. I used it for a corn I had on my foot, all it does is kill the skin and eventually get rid of whatever you wanted off. Warts are a different topic that I don’t want to get into.
I used to think it was lazy of my dad to have my mom cut his nails, but after watching these videos I see how important and difficult it is. She was a great mom (and dad too)
There is a major bonding factor there as well. I hope you dont miss on anything like that because of your preconceptions about minor things in our lives.
I hope he cut hers too then!
I take care of my husband’s feet. He has neuropathy so it’s very important to keep an eye on his feet. And we’ve gotten closer through my taking care of him. Remember that men need special attention too.
I used to give my Mom pedicures once a month. Now that she's gone I give my Dad pedicures.
What wonderful Dr......
I'm sure that lovely man's feet feel so much better! Great job Toe Bro!! ♥️🦶👣♥️
I’m so grossed out but I can’t stop watching

Dang auto correct! I was trying to write, “Your politeness with your patients is refreshing.”
I am so on a binge watch right now with your channel...crazyily cool!
I love how you encourage these older/elderly people with stuff like "You'll heal fast! You're a young guy!" I love it!! I bet they love it! 💗
I always find it comforting when the people given patients care create small talk, it helps take the mind off the procedure

I'm so looking forward to the hidden surprise!!!
I miss this show. Hopefully they will give you another spot in our TV screen.
Weird; I never thought that watching a podiatrist scraping a human callous could remind me so much of trimming horse and cattle hooves. The way it comes off in clean, neat slivers? Exactly the freaking same as using a hoof knife.
Alexis Grunden I probably got recommended this video because of the hoof trimming videos
Yep!! A lot of human medical stuff compares to animal medical/care techniques. It’s pretty interesting.
we have found the horse girl
@@olivianobile5112 Ironically, I'm allergic to them~😂😂
We have so much in common with animals.
I’m not a fan of feet myself, and my husband has very unattractive feet himself, but if he needed me to cut his toenails or if anybody else asked me to, I’d happily do so. You’ve opened my eyes to how important foot health is.
Same here!
I agree, and I have actually cut my husbands toenails. I've also wiped his ass for him. He had to have numerous surgeries after he took a fall at work and shattered his hip, knee, vertebrae. I didn't think twice about it either, you do what you have to.
@@vaskylark you sound like a great wife he is a lucky guy
Same. I don't even like to look at my own feet lol. I always wear close toed shoes and almost never walk around barefoot. My FIL needs lotion put on his feet and I gag every time I have to do it.
Nail spa be Toe Bro😱! Amazing!!
I’d love to wind up next to this man. His story telling is amazing.
So glad you’re opening a salon. My sons best friend is a podiatrist and I told him to open a salon for his patients to have pedicures once a month. Most patients see you and then don’t maintain their feet afterwards. A nail tech can also help stop problems before they start. If a nail tech is associated with a podiatrist more people would come in on a regular basis.
Now for the those over 65, in the USA, can get the pedicure covered by insurance. Podiatrists just need to figure out how to code it properly.
There is such a thing as a medical pedicure these days, but Medicare has strict guidelines about who they'll pay for that for-- neuropathy, diabetes, etc are necessary. The rank and file would never qualify for payment for any kind of pedicure.
Rhonda Stein
Thank you, I'm so pleased to hear that.
I gotta say, i have been an RN for close to a decade now, and that is some of the most skilled work i have seen for corn and callous removal. And i spend some time working with a dermatologist who specialized in podiatry care.

I think the fact that it is someone like you, someone who REALLY takes care of feet, is the person who is running the business, people will take comfort in knowing that the salon will be safe and clean.
Oh my gosh yes! My boyfriend had what he called a gill on the bottom of one foot, it looked just like this second foot but much longer. I got rid of it with lots of TLC! Lol. Oh how he adored me.

It's amazing how we think... OK, it's just foot... Foot, like hands, like fingers, like any kind of body is always important!
I realized more intensely the hands and fingers because of playing cello...my both kids, decided to study music and choose cello... and after some years on this world of music, I already saw fingers hands bleeding... can someone imagine the love for the music that plays with extreme pain?
The best we can expect is that the fingers points create a healthy callous and after that you can play with out pain...
Love and kisses and stay safe

Well the Carnivore diet has been the most healing thing for me. Unbelievable healing-My BP is normal -my heart issues left-my migraines all disappeared, my gut issues healed, my arthritis disappeared (If I cheat I feel it again) This is the first thing I ever had that helped my fibromyalgia! Don’t get me wrong-vegan is still better than the standard American dirt and may be right for some people with a lot of supplements but half the carnivore community are ex vegans who got too sick for whatever reasons. …I went from feeling 85 to feeling 40 in one year. And I was 58. I have been carnivore 3 years now and Carnivore is a type of Kero. btw-I don’t really eat much MORE meat than other people at all. I just don’t eat garbage flour products and veg with toxins anymore…
