I've been listening to you guys on Spotify now for a little while, it's my first time getting into podcasts and while I went to TH-cam I was shocked this stuff doesn't have millions of views. I love your work, helps with my sleep a bunch. Thanks! I hope you two grow as a channel a lot, well deserved.
Amazing. I’ve been waiting for the episode on this for a while. I know you guys have covered the Departed before in segments but I would love to see a whole episode dedicated to it. Keep up the great work
So I'm pretty sure you guys missed a line where Teddy Daniels at the beginning of the film on the boat says a line about cigarettes where he says something like he had cigarettes when he wasn't on the ship, but when he got on the ship he didn't have them. In the film, it's phrased differently. I can't quite remember exactly what he says, but it is one of the lines I've picked up on with multiple watches. Oh, and you guys picked up on stuff that I didn't notice and added some details and was all in all a really great discussion, great episode as always.
2 more clues. 1 The doctors keep feeding him pills that they have on hand knowing he is suffering withdrawal. 2 when he needs new cloths they dress him in patients cloths.
Just like it’s a running gag that Halle Berry can’t keep kids (in movies) Leo has horrible luck with wives. Between Mal, Dolores and April, hell even Rose he deserves to go a little crazy😂
I'm generally underwhelmed by DiCaprio, but he was very effective in this one. This is a much, much better performance than his Oscar-winning role in The Revenant.
I knew the twist in this film before i watched it. It was actually youtube videos talking about the movie that made me want to go watch it. My first watch through was kind of like most people 2nd which im guessing everyone does after watching it one time
Interesting thing about the flashback music that plays in the nazi flashback, that song wasnt released until after ww2 further making teddy less reliable
You guys have to do a whole episode on the series Dark! it was sooo good! I don''t know anyone else who watched it, so it would be cool if you guys talked about it :)
Great episode! One thing that always confused me, was the storm real or one of his hallucinations? As doesn't the doctor list it off as one of the things he's heard all before at the end when they're trying to prove to him he's Andrew Laeddis, or could it seem a lot worse to him than what it actually is? Dark is one of my favourite tv series too i would love to hear an episode on that one day!

Oh. Nice catch!
I’ve been waiting on this one for awhile! Great episode guys!
Thanks! 🙌🙌
When Leo finds out the truth about what his wife did to his kids, his acting broke me. 😭
Same 😩😩

Totally! However the white clothes are orderly clothes, patient ones are grey 👌

Bad omen for his girlfriend 😬

Such an underrated performance
Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island is underrated

How dare y’all scare me like that about Thelma. Was gonna be so sad if she didn’t get to edit killers of the flower moon
Sorrrry!!! I got her mixed up with Tarantino’s editor Sally 😅

Thanks! The storm is for sure real because there’s the scene of the doctors trying to figure out what to do before Teddy even shows up in the room.
A vpn ad? You guys have officially made it!

This movie is a classic.

It’s pretty accurate to the Bible
Novel*

Unfortunately they just took it off the other day 🥺
