I did not realize you did this kit. A friend of mine just picked it up and when I searched for it there you were, lol. I was like well hey you'll tell me the answers I am looking for.😆
Enjoyed this video so much I bought the same kit. It won't be as good as yours but fun trying. Really enjoying all your videos. Wow there's a lot of them!
Dude... your video was a HUGE inspiration to make mine. Your work is awesome. I’m light years away from what you did, but working to get there. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so glad I came across this (and almost my desk) 😅. Would be awesome if there was some kind of way to get some blue LEDs under some plastic for the blade 🤔 but apart from that this model looks fucking fantastic, from the peshading to the LED placement and everything. I agree that if there was more articulation then this kit would sell like hot cakes lol.
I have a couple questions, so I own this exact model kit and how do you clean off the excess plastic bits after removing them from the plastic board and how do you apply the LED light for the nuclear reactor
Dang man looks amazing! I love watching your stuff! Hopefully one day I will be as good as you with shooting/editing video as well! Ha ha oh and the kit looks nice as well! Jk
This video is so good and Im looking forward to giving this model kit a shot. I have 2 questions.. How many total LEDs did you use (I want to make sure I order the right ones) and what did you use to keep the LEDs in place? Cement glue or some other adhesive. Thank you!!
do you not use protective spray? also how do you deal with seams when you spray paint them before assembly?? watched a couple videos now but didn't see these mentioned. great videos tho
I don't have a prefix of tools that I used because I just pretty much use any kind of random ones I can find in my garage. As for airbrush and air compressors I use a Master Airbrush Multi-purpose Gravity Feed Dual-action Airbrush Kit with 6 Foot Hose and a Powerful 1/5hp Single Piston Quiet Air Compressor
This isn't official but if we take Gipsy Danger's height, according to the wiki, which is 79.25 meters, this being in 1/350 scale puts it around 22 centimeters tall. Not too shabby, about the size of a gundam master grade kit.
Is it me, or are you intentionally not spraying some parts? (Not sure if it's to glue, or to fit it together (had some problems with my ew sandrock's head)) It's a LED galore this one o.O Really nice looking.
This seems to require a lot of effort compared to the Bandai release of the _Pacific Rim_ model kits. On top of that, this iteration requires glue, whereas Bandai's version does not. I suppose if you want a bigger model kit of the JG-02 Gipsy Danger, this would be a good choice, but overall I think the Bandai release is a more balanced released and one that doesn't require much additional work like gluing. But with the work you put into this, turned out well worth it. It looks very much as it did in the movies.
The model kit already has a preexisting spot for the LED light unit that comes with it kit. I pretty much just wrapped all the wires in a spool and placed it in the center.
hi, i just started watching your videos a few months ago. your work is amazing! especially your airbrushing. i just wanted to know what model of airbrush/compressor do you use? i've been building gunpla for a few years and i would like to start airbrushing.
I'm sorry but as much as your build and work is spectacular, the cables coming out of its back ruins it. I know its for the LEDs but there has to be a way to hide the wires. The wiresarea complete eye sore to see.
This channel is way underrated. Watching your channel has got me getting into the hobby again.
This made me watch Pacific Rim again... Bloody well done
Cool
Your videos need more views. This is not just a hobby this is pure art.
Fantastic as always. The led wires actually look like they're apart of the design with this one came out so great
Man, I hope this kit gets a restock sometime in the future
I got one of these years ago and I'm finally coming round to paint mine. The custom LEDs look fantastic, I'll definitley be adding some to mine.
This look amazing
Being a mech lover, this is THE BEST video in 2020.
I did not realize you did this kit. A friend of mine just picked it up and when I searched for it there you were, lol. I was like well hey you'll tell me the answers I am looking for.😆
Excellent build ! Bravo.
This is a beautiful kit

Nailed it!

Been looking forward to this video, awesome work as always
Another Great Build .
Super amazing as usual
Just amazing
This kit is Wonderful! The only letdown is that it needs glue
Is this officially licensed?? This looks amazing!
Those misaligned blinking lights on its chest... so close, yet so far.
Eyes catching, really a great masterpiece. If i can order it for my house then i would love too

It would be awesome if you did a tutorial to show us how you do these crazy custom leds for new people that would like to get into leds!!!
AWESOME!!!
that is so epic!
I would literally commit war crimes to get this model kit.
I need to buy this
Goodtimeswithscar vibes iyk

Wasn't it only from the second film?
God like
If you ever plan on selling this bad boy lmk please haha damn it’s awesome!!
Very interesting how to did you made those two lights at the chest unit to blink?
What glue that you use
I have a couple questions, so I own this exact model kit and how do you clean off the excess plastic bits after removing them from the plastic board and how do you apply the LED light for the nuclear reactor
Does the paint come with the figure.
This kit reminds me why the original movie was way better than that crappy sequel.
Dang man looks amazing! I love watching your stuff! Hopefully one day I will be as good as you with shooting/editing video as well!
Ha ha oh and the kit looks nice as well! Jk
I love this it looks amazing! The one thing which will depend on if I get this or not is on how big this is?
Oh man! I love your videos!, btw what camera are you using for your work in progress videos?
I actually used 2 cameras. For the unboxing and speed builds I use my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. As for the Final Shots I use a Canon T7i.
@@OtakuBuilder ohh I see, thanks, I didn't noticed the difference between the 2, Thank you again, Love your works! More builds to come
Where you learning add led lights ? (Book or internet?)

Please build Cherno alpha
Name of the song for the final shots please.
Revenge Me
Hector Posser
Why were only two Jaegers given sets?
I hate to have to ask - where did you get the additional LEDs from? Is it a set specific to this kit? Do you remember? I know this was years ago D:
Are the leds worth it or should I skip them?
How many LEDs should I buy for this? Hard to tell from the video
I'm not sure I saw it, how did you get the LED units into the... Shoulder Fins? The big swooped parts coming off the back over the shoulders.
Is there any way to bring the parts to Brazil? is that I live here
ahhhhh cmon i want this kit so bad but i cant find it
how much does people thin their tamiya paint for airbrushing?
😀😁😍
Can u make a guide for tools?
Like compressor, air brush kit etc?
I don't have a prefix of tools that I used because I just pretty much use any kind of random ones I can find in my garage. Hi, may I know how tall they are. Might wanna get one of this. I love Pacific Rim

@@DrossProwler that's the perfect size as I collect MGs. Thank you very much for the info.

This kit is hard to find, been looking for 2 days straight online and locally.

This is better than bandai's because it has an actual frame inside like MG's. Glue isn't a problem at all
The company could have also made the battle damaged version with the broken arm
With that many wires coming put the
Back.
Did you have to shave down the model or was there space for them to come out without compromising anything?
The model kit already has a preexisting spot for the LED light unit that comes with it kit. I pretty much just wrapped all the wires in a spool and placed it in the center.
Did you wash up the parts/runners before painting to remove mold releases?
Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't.
I just realized that he is using SypherPks background music lmao
How much did you pay for it?
1/350 ... wow ... the mechs from rim are huge when you think about it ... hg gundams are 1/100 so yeah ... big. A lifesized would dwarf a gundam.
Hg Gundams are actually 1/144 scale but yes these pacific rim mechs are massive
No plasma cannons?
Unfortunately. But you have to keep in mind I was on a budget when it came to purchasing the LED lights.
@@OtakuBuilder ohhh I meant were there no plasma cannons included in the kit, but I'm very awed by your work!!!
hi, i just started watching your videos a few months ago. your work is amazing! especially your airbrushing. i just wanted to know what model of airbrush/compressor do you use? i've been building gunpla for a few years and i would like to start airbrushing.
He uses master airbrush and compressor I think
@@jackp5870 Bingo🦊💙
Would I be able to purchase those on Amazon or a similar website?
@@metalfan883 pretty sure you can from the USA, but you can use any decent compressor with a tank, and as for air brush there are many to choose from
You can get a starter kit with a Compressor and brush for 80 on amazon

i would find out about this kit when its $300....dammit
Actually, you can find this for around (more less than) $200. Still a horrible price but... whatever.
Bad Stickers from Bandai.
