Great unboxing and review of this new machine. I wasn’t expecting it to be so loud, though. It is a bummer you can’t used the smaller mat for smaller projects. I am looking forward to seeing how it does with your future projects.
You can use smaller mats; There are guides in the back of the machine and when you pop the guide open it also pops a guide up in the front on the machine as well. So if you want to use the smaller then you shut the left guide (on the back of the machine looking down at the machine) and open the middle one and make sure that the one on the right side end is also open and then you can use the smaller mat and the smaller materials.

I also wanted to know what you think about the cost versus the usage of such a large cutter. I'm still doing my research while I think about making a purchase. Still on the fence.

I had to purchase the stand from HSN, after being told by Cricut Help that they had them for sale as well. The stand is on back order so my receipt says I should get the stand by the end of the month. I think I want to make a unboxing video

Hello my sister, I wanted to know if there was a way that you can tell the size of the rhinestone that you buy from the designers. I have bought some from one designer and when I cut them they don't fix. I sometime you have to resize them for some cutting machines I have a Scan and Cut.

I got mine on Aug 2nd and took out the box put on an all-purpose table but waiting for the venter docking station

That thing is huge!!! I want one but not sure that I will have the space for it....but I still want one.

On HSN the Cricut ppl says that the Venture cannot use 12 by 12 mates because the machine is to strong and will snap them
