Love that BX have added those features at the bottom, especially the correlation meter. Very helpful in "seeing" slight variations in channel combinations. My wish for them is to add a type of "recall" to the random-channel feature. As it is now, and as you've said, if you find something interesting using that feature, don't move!

Mike, you forgot to turn the THD on for your kick example. I'm curious as to where the difference you heard was coming from?

Who's the artist?? Her voice feels so good

Very nice! The unit sounds like it was made for that singer. And for FM synths, too. I appreciate the "glow" explanation, and the response curve graphs, too. Thanks.

Who’s the singer? Also curious about the reverb used on her voice as someone else asked

Ha, thanks a lot for the Glow and Sheen curves, have been searching online but didn't find them!!

Mike, how did you usually remove the muddy resonances in the 80s, what equalizers did you use for records like Whitney Houston? Now you have the Fabfilter that has very narrow notch, but what was in the 80s to do that narrow surgical eq?

What is the button under the input knobs?

      It's a polarity invert switch.

How does this differ from the bx 2098? Which is better?

This is the BX 2098. It's based on the Amek hardware 9098

Mike, Hope all is well with you and yours! Getting a playback error here... Link appears to have a crack in it at the moment. :-(

Good to have you back Mike! Trust all's well. Good review, though i'd never heard of Amek, but Rupert always know's what he's doing!
A couple more zoom-in close-ups would be helpful though!
What's that wonderful reverb on her vocals, and who's the singer, and the track? Love the reverb tail!!
Is that a Little Phatty you're using for the bass? & that kick is NASTY! My Adam 7X's are quaking!!
Btw, does anyone in your community know anyone with PT 12 wishing to collaborate on songwriting , Pop/Rock/ Soul genres?
That's why i love your reviews, 'coz at least we get some Soul/R&B vocals. Not that i've anything against Rock vocals!
Stay Blessed, & Keep Da Funk! Cheers.

Thanks Kwame! The one problem with having a 5K display. Especially on the Plugin Alliance plugins which have a lot of small print.

I'm watching this on a 5k iMac, and it looks fantastic, Michael.
