  • step 1) make sure POT 1 is correctly calibrated.
    step 2) repair/replace ECR3 (traction encoder)

    We have had the bearings in the encoder go out and make noise. There is also the poly stopper that keeps the encoder bracket from spinning, the metal bracket and poly stop worn enough can cause those as well. Or if you have a lazy tech like I do and he doesn't full tighten the jam nuts for the brake rotor, that will happen too along with some other stuff.

    Nice work. By chance, have you had a raise switch message upon start up? Stays active. I've replaced ras1 and 2. I've checked multiple components and wiring. I'm just curious if anyone came across this problem before?

      I personally have not come across that problem. But if you followed the troubleshooting steps correctly and have checked every component and no wires are damaged, then I would think the display panel is bad

    I am working on that model picker with same code but in this case it's the drive motor that is broken
