This is such a heart wrenching episode. Thinking about all of the dear victims, the family's losing their loved ones in such tragic cruel ways, and then think about those responders who show up when they're called and do all of the hard work around these tragedies.. 💔 thank you to all of the responders that take exceptional care around these terrible scenes you face in your career. ❤
i lived houses away in Toronto. looked for Holly with my husband children at home. praying we would find her to bring her home. we were outside when we found out. she wasn’t coming home. HEARTBREAKING. wards Island was a place we loved and could never return since Holly’s body was found. ❤❤holly was loved so very much.
Thank you to all of the unsung heroes 💐 (Police, Paramedics, Firemen & women, Doctors, Nurses, M.Es, Coroners, Lab Techs, Crime Scene Investigators, Lawyers etc) You face the dark, save lives and procure Justice 💖 Bless you all 💖
I cannot look at the photo's of a smiling Holly. What a POS to take her innocence and her life for his own sick gratification. Bury him under the prison and walk away, never to go back. Monsters like this are never, ever rehabilitated.
I grew up just a few houses down on Bloor to the left of that store (Jit Variety) the owner of that store has known everybody it's been there for 30 years. The owner knows me,Holly and Holly's mom. What him and I talked about, what isn't mentioned in the story, or in the long form of the story, conveniently, is that Holly's mother I knew Briere and so did Holly, they were friendly with him he's not a stranger. Briere and Holly's mom had some sort of relationship I don't know what type. My guess they left that out of the story because the mother feels shame over that, or maybe because it's inconsequential. Hollys parents are pretty well off now thanks to the community donating. From my understanding they are millionaires. Anyways just a little bit of extra lore there for you.
I forget the exact number of hours, but the vast majority of kidnapped children are killed within 1-3h of the abduction. I think the number is possibly 6h, i don't recall. Definitely nowhere near half a day, even, tho.
Why isn’t there an equal emphasis on life? All those resources used to investigate a death are helpful for the survivors of the victims. How about shifting that dedication and financing of prevention, instead of focusing so much of it after the fact. Wouldn’t those victims prefer to have prevention as their legacies? Not a continuation of the current dynamics that wait until they’re dead to act.
"Prevention" is a Gen Z fantasy, showcasing dangerous, utopic naivete. There is no preventing evil: evil is there, waiting to make victims. The only prevention is parents who know a lot of true crime cases, and raise awareness in their children. Society can't do it for them.

NO PAROLE in 28...No Parole ever...RIP Holly...

No way can this monster be released back into society.

I can only imagine how horrific what they have to look at can be... Respect.

❤Thank you Crime Beat. We have a lot of Police Officers that is working so hard to get the criminals. Thank you Officers 🙏 ❤
I went to school with Holly at St Luigi. Was a few grades higher at the time but definitely remember seeing her during recess.
You have to give thanks to the cops and detectives here. They did their job to catch Holly's killer.
I can’t even imagine how her mom devastated…painful grief
Great series❤

What psychic powers are you expecting the Police to have EXACTLY, in order to predict murders? 😂
@@TheStar798 What psychic powers are you pretending to have regarding my meaning?
You really think no money is spent on prevention? It's not just one thing that is the cause of homicides.
