Lawson only sells you the lottery tickets. To claim any winnings, you must got to a Takarakuji stand. If it’s over 100,000 yen, you must bring it to Mizuho Bank.

Anyone can claim their win but I am not sure how a non resident of Japan with no Japanese bank account would receive a substantial payout.

@@a1994s no I did not win. This machine only places your order then you take the receipt to the counter and pay for the actual ticket. There are a number of ways to check your ticket. If you are in Japan, you would go to the nearest Takarakuji kiosk. If that’s inconvenient, you can check your ticket online. I use Mizuho Bank’s website.
