Are there extra wires in the control boxes for a hard wired switch that could be used at the console? I see a reference in the manual for Auxiliary Switch Leads, and it looks like there are some maybe coiled up in your video. I have them sitting in the garage, just haven't unpacked them yet. Still have a while before I will need them for my boat build.
Hi! I've been in constant contact with Lewmar and they have a ton in development. "Stomp" switches are something coming and I'm pushing for! I'll be in contact with the rep this week and will provide an update.
Not really looking for a stomp switch just seeing whats available if I wanted to wire in additional controls. Having the switch on the side of the box is definitely nice though.
@@jessecameron20 👍 I'll ask
I just installed 1 of 2 anchors and it looks like there are 3 leads from the control box switch that aren’t used, that you could run wires from here up to the console and wire in a switch. I haven’t tried it yet, but plan to.
@@champclarkeI opened up one of mine just to look at it. I think those are just DPDT switches. Running more wires to those switch tabs won’t do anything. Can run additional wires in and tap into the existing switch wires which is what I’ll do once I install mine.
Is there an option for a jackplate mount? I'm not crazy about drilling holes in my hull.
Bolt patterns lined up exactly with the power pole I had. So that opens the door for a ton of options. Lewmar did say they have some in development and approved use of others. Might tap into support just to make sure.
If it is the same bolt pattern as the power poles, could you their jack plate mount for this?
With out saying "yes"... Yes. 😉 I haven't done it but 'if the shoe fits' as they say!
Gettting ready to order 2 but unsure how to mount on pontoon? Would I need to have a plate mounted to back of pontoon to mount quick connect mount to? Thanks for the help.
I'm 90% sure they have a specific pontoon mounting bracket. I'll see if I have a link to it in the AM.
@@Mitz-RI thank you so much!! That’s was a fast reply and I appreciate it. Really like these anchors and can do 2 for the price of 1!! Thank you for the videos. Ronnie
I have confirmed they do have a mount for a pontoon boat. If you have a local Marine dealer that deals with Lippert they will be able to look up the part #. If you don't get anywhere with them I'll get you in contact with the rep I used.
Any tips on getting the remote to program and work? I’m not getting it to work following your video and the instructions.
Is this what you tried? 1. CLEAR All Settings (Press and hold mode for 3 sec. Light will go solid then flash then turn off). 2. Press and hold program button for 3 seconds while both lights are solid 3. Press the UP arrow. Then wait don't touch anything until the light flashes quickly and turns off. This should work for one and 2 anchors if Step 2 you press both program buttons. Let me know.
@@Mitz-RI I cleared correctly. Then when i held the program button for 3 seconds for the 2nd time, i released that button and hit my remote control button. Then i did not get the 1 flash of the light, it just flickered a few times and went off.
@@champclarke Just recorded a video on how to do it. I'll upload it tonight. 👍
@champclarke Here you go this should help! th-cam.com/video/1SRGaeOUso0/w-d-xo.html
What bracket are those for the quick connect
Brand? They are Lewmar's own. Might be able to see them better in my other video. Side note bolt patterns match up with most Jack Plate mounts too... th-cam.com/video/z1jwEDzrZYA/w-d-xo.html
Does the switch on the power box work as soon as it’s hooked to power bc I just got one and I hooked it up and it does nothing fuse is good won’t do anything with switch on box or remote. Followed I’m instructions starting to think the box is bad or the motor on the anchor.
Switch should work no matter what. If you take the fuse out and plug it back in does the programming light flash? Also check the wires make sure they are crimped and not loose.
Ya the light blinks so maybe it’s not the box.
@@scottbrady5241 maybe. 😕 Support has been great I'm sure they will make it right. Keep us in the loop.
Why did you put the mounts upside down...power pole slides in from the top not the bottom according to mfg.
Those mounts are the same top and bottom. Caps with bolts. My boat is an aluminum hull and flares out at the top. Couldn't slidee them down, so had to slide them up into bracket.
@@Mitz-RI sure hope those retainer bolt dont come out, your swa be gone
@@Garminrules it's definitely part of my routine checks no issues as of yet. 🤞
@@Mitz-RI cool...good video
Can this be mounted to a tritoon?
Mounting options are endless, just need access and solid structure or jackplate brackets. Wouldn't just bolt to fiberglass. 😬
Holy shit for $1000 each they sound like absolute shit I know power pools are expensive and everything has its pros and cons, but I thought those would be like 499 the way they sound and look
Have you seen the promo for the new power poles. You're looking at 3-5K just for basic setup. Nothing cheap these days. I will say garage "echo" doesn't help. Next video on the water will tell a lot! I'll keep ya posted!
I just installed 1 of 2 and it really isn’t that loud.
@@champclarke Agree I have new footage on the water I'll be posting and it's not whisper quite but it's also not a chainsaw. 😉
