    4 Million Dong is about 162 dollars. 4x a year. That is about the same cost as renewing your tourist visas plus ACR card in the PHilppines for a year! Its nice to know it is so easy. I would use this company for sure!

    • @Willtravelz
      @Willtravelz  4 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      True it's roughly around the same price but the thing that you got to take into consideration is that overall Vietnam is much cheaper to live than the Philippines, And then on top of that you get more bang for your buck in Vietnam. But on the other hand the benefit in the Philippines is that you don't have to get on a plane or leave the country for up to 36 months.

    Now what I still don't understand is if you can't apply while in the country how does it work does this Visa agency submit it after you get stamped out and then you wait for it to go through on the Laos side? Do they fill out the form? Do you have to have a photo of the right size and a copy of the info part of your passport also with you to give it to the agency? This is the grey area for me, please explain that part.

    • @Willtravelz
      @Willtravelz  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      So it's a very gray area I'm still a little confused about it myself. The agency told me that with enough research of the government website there's kind of a loophole around it. I should be receiving my Visa that will approve me sometime in the next week is what I was told. I will definitely update the channel once I find out the result of my new Visa being approved or not. But last Visa run I was denied when I initially filled out the application it said I was still in the country. So what I had to do was pay an extra charge during the bus run to get an expedited 4-Hour Visa. Which apparently the Visa agency applies for and gets while we're doing the Visa run. Which is the reason we had to wait for about an hour and a half or so at the hotel before our new visas came back approved while we were waiting in Laos.
      I'm not sure if you seen the bus run Visa that I did a little while back. If you haven't seen it check out this video and it talks a little bit more about it.

    Hey guys another great insight I learned from the day I booked my next visa run, You could actually "stack" your visas. Basically meaning you could apply for four consecutive visas at the same time which would get you a full year of visas. You would still have to leave the country and come right back the same day if you wanted, but you could technically have a year's worth of visas all completed and issued at the same time.
    For example let's say your first visa expired January 1st. You would pay for another visa that would start April 1st.. another one that would start July 1st.. and another for October 1st.

The cost is $25 for the Visa single entry 90 days. The cost for a multi entry 90 days is $50. On the website they'll ask you for one picture of your passport and one picture of you with a white background. Upload those into the correct positions that they ask you to put on the website. Make sure you spell everything correct that's on your passport including your middle name your last name your first name or else it'll cause a delay in getting your visa approved. Also make sure to correctly put your hotel or your accommodation address correct 100%, this can cause a delay if you don't do that correct also.

    I'm a bit confused about the "single entry" visa being good for one flight out and back. Isn't your first entry into the country the "single entry" or does that not count?

    • @Willtravelz
      @Willtravelz  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Single entry basically means for 90 days you could stay in the country until you leave. So for example let's say you get a single entry 90 days if you decide to go to another country during that 90 days your Visa then expires and you need to get a new one. But if you stay in the country for up to 90 days without ever leaving the country it's valid. Multiple entry allows you to leave anytime you want during that 90 days as many times as you want. So you would only want the multiple entry Visa if you were planning on leaving Vietnam to another country during that 90 days and then plan on returning back to Vietnam again.

    • @Willtravelz
      @Willtravelz  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@ScottRawdin so as an American you have to get an e visa there's no 45-day exemption for Americans. If your European most European countries get a 45-day exemption no Visa needed. So it depends on what country you're from. But let's say you're an American and you come here for a month and then you leave your visa would then be invalid even if you had a 90-day visa unless you got a 90-day multiple entry visa. So if you're an American you have two choices a 30 or a 90-day Visa, and also you have the choice of a single entry or a multiple entry on either one of those visas. As a European you will have the choice of a 45-day exemption no Visa needed, or you could pay for a 90-day Visa if you wanted to stay that long.

      So that's a very tough situation I don't think it really exists except for if you marry a local. The only other long-term visa is a business visa which I think is one year. I know it's kind of a hassle to leave the country every 3 months but with the bus run or even just a round trip ticket to Bangkok is not really that hard. The flight to Bangkok is about an hour and a half each way. So if you wanted to stay here for 1 year you would have to leave Vietnam a total of four times a year and you could be gone for as little as a few hours. So it's not an ideal situation but it's not extremely difficult.
