If J.S. Bach could watch/hear this, what would he think? He'd recognize the chord progression as rather simple/cyclic, but be impressed by the constant improvisation. He'd recognize the piano & drums, and marvel at the fluidity of the small stringed bass and the remarkable evolution of the violin sound played by the guy in the white jumpsuit. He'd also be struck by vocal amplification to blend with these very loud instruments. And, where is the sheet music?...he could play from memory and recognize others doing the same. He'd want more.
