Thanks man I love being able to go back to some of your older videos aswell. It kinda brings things full circle after I keep drilling these mixing/mastering videos into my brain!!!!
This video is really solid. However, if you actually find beat generals on TH-cam they usually have some other step by step info about this stuff though.
Super cool! Question: Say I have an istrument (we'll say bass) routed to different places: One routing goes to an insert designated as a sidechain for the kick and another routing path goes to a reverb send channel. Of course the kick needs to hit for the side chain to take effect. Is there a way to render that instument (bass) solo with all these effects taking place (i.e. the ducking of the sidechain and reverb send? Hopefully, my question makes sense. If not please let let me know.
Do you use maximus on all your basses and drums in your tracks? Because i've been using it for the past year to get that ''punch'' but i've noticed that it's muddying up my mixes. Kind of want to move away from it now...
Great track as always! But I gotta say, your kick and snare are still beneath your mix, as if hidden under it. I still believe your kick and snare should be more distinct and puncture through. I'm not sure how you mix your tracks (most likely along the way you arrange your tracks), but you seem to have a lot of low-end information going on for the kicks to come out. I'm sure you know kicks have to punch through not only on the 200Hz region but also the 2~4K and even 8K.
Great vids seamless! Keep doing them :)
I use that... its brilliant :)
Nice Seamless!
Fun fact about soundgoodizer: it's actually just a collection of Maximus presets ;p
Wow impressive
Thanks

It was also based on the VST called You Wa Shock!

So putting like 3 of them in a row is the best way to master right?
Wicked video man ! How long have you been making music for? :)

Is Maximus worth the money? Or is Soundgoodizer enough?..

At 7:52 I noticed that the master track is being sent to FireStudio. Is this just another instance of FL or is this specifically for mixing purposes?
How old are you and when did you start?
Great track as always!
