I haven’t tried 4.0 yet. However, even with the previous versions I was trying to make the prompts for super easy features or actions. Taking into account how fast blender evolves, ChatGPT just can’t get all those changes taken into accounts))
@@retroshaper i like chat gpt for somethings but coding is not its strong point. I even found documentation for nodes and cut and pasted pages into a note pad and fed it through conversation and chat gpt 4 still fumbled the ball constantly. Im not quite sure how some youtubers are claiming to build add ons and geo nodes. Im very confused. I know by using python you stand a much better chance however when developing in python you cant acheive real time manipulation of meshs like with nodes.
@@wrillywonka1320 I absolutely agree with you. I just use this as a tool to help me out with very basic things that will take me more time to do manually. Of course, no need to rely completely on it 🙂
@@retroshaper i respect the hobesty. Ive been noticing chat gpt works better for people actually already know stuff like coding etc. Then they use it to streamline. All this "natural language" doesnt do the "average joe" much good just yet
The iteration process mentioned here worked really well! It's a great way for getting more familiar with code too.
Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm glad you've enjoyed the video ☺
@@retroshaper absolutely! You've save me hours of doing stupid manual stuff xD
Wow! Great job! So smooth and simple🙌 Thanks for the tutorial!

Wow. Honestly wow.
bro just click home button
🙂Well, that was an eye opening for me.
where is the home button?
Chat gpt is horrible with nodes. At least with blender 4.0 do you know if this is not the issue with older versions of blender?

There is already a few addons made with chatgpt for sale on marketplace, just saying!
Yes, I'm pretty sure there are )

Thanks for sharing your opinion. But I think it is a great tool to optimize routine. 🙂
