Very simple & easy solution. You can get Android device cheap. I’m sure you have friends with an old Android phone you could buy or trade for hardly anything. Use it for time being, until IPhone app becomes available. Love my KO controller, works perfectly, temps are on point & the 12kw tune is more than enough! Put it on the bike! Sick looking, sick performance!
This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. You can set a motor temp limit and it will pull power to prevent overheating. Also, the fact that the battery display doesn't work is a con for the battery. Not the controller. You can also do an aftermarket voltage meter for cheap and super easy with the unoccupied GPS connector under the seat.
My thoughts exactly. This dude is missing out for very simple and stupid reasons. Easy fixes for all his issues. Personally i would have waited for the IOS app and display. Thats what im waiting for before getting one for my Talaria
Yeah bro, you didn't do your home work!!! Ive brought the controller new from a guy with 2 of them... Doing my own HW, and a friend of mine as well helped me. To select the KO controller. Plug & play, meaning that it would fit in the space it was designed for with no extra hardware or harnesses/ wires. I just swapped out the stock controller, and used all existing hardware. Hooked up to my computer with provided cable, called up KO, sorry texted KO on INSTAGRAM & they replied in minutes!! They told me to switch over to DISCORD APP, I did that & got live video help👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾💯💯💯💯💯💯 KO's customer service is hands down 100% top notch!! THEY CARE ABOUT THIER PRODUCTS AND IT SHOWS. YOU MY FRIEND, HAVE YOUR WIRES CROSSED, I DONT MEAN YOU ANY MALICE OR MEAN TO DISRESPECT YOU. You should just read more and ask a ton of questions about things before you make a video about a product you know nothing about... I think/know that you should keep it,because you're going to regret selling it later.. I'm ordering my motor soon, and can't wait for the display. However the app on my android works just fine. My buddy has the Apple & he has no issues with it.. PLEASE CHECK YOUR FACTS NEXT TIME BUDDY😉
There are plenty of guys with the BAC 4000/8000, a 72v battery that are riding their Sur Rons hard and they are not overheating their motors. So why is yours getting so hot?
You didn't do your research, also not willing to buy a cheap $20 android phone from Walmart. Not to mention you can use the KO app which would allow you to check your voltage. Maybe next time you're shelling out $1000 take some more time to inform yourself of what you're buying. You come off as whiny and complaining about simple things you could have easily figured out beforehand. For what it's worth, I have the combo and love it.
They said plug and play, I ordered. Buying a new device just to tune is not plug and play, I'm just letting people know what they get before they spend the money to help them make an educated decision based off of the the info no-one talks about. Plan on getting the combo as soon as their display is out! Hope this controller video ages like milk and they dominate the market!
@@ethanweckwert Come on dude, anyone that has looked up the combo can see its the most customizable option in terms of control and parameters, it's clear it's not a one-and done option. Plug and play, meaning that it's a direct fit in comparison to the stock controller. When compared to the bac4000 with the extra harness adaptor and awkward fit, the ko controller bolts right up using the same connectors and mounting points. The inherent purpose in the KO Combination is an upgraded motor, with bigger stators and a kv rating to exceed the stock surron motor. The design also let's it dissipate heat better and as such performs significantly better, especially when paired with the controller. Maybe you can elaborate on your decision to purchase only the controller when you had the BAC already and were aware of the overheating issues on the stock motor? Ultimately the controller is made tailored to the motor, and due to each individual rider having preferences such as wheel size, gearing, and battery limitations, there can't be a one size fits all tune. That's where their customer support side really comes into play to tune as needed. I just think you missed the mark on the true selling points of these upgrades.
Not as bad as surronster, but complaining about aftermarket parts as if they're faulty because you expected it to all just work with the other after market parts you've thrown on your cheap bike trying to make it Japanese dirt bike quality and power is a bit silly and rude. The irony is your stock motor is probably going to blow soon. after you sell it and want a KO motor. Oh this video is to get funds for that.
You should pick another hobby for your channel…preferably one you’re better at and know more about. Upgrading Surrons seem a bit too complicated for you to understand.

I’ll buy it from you. Been eyeballing that controller. I’ve got an upgraded battery but I’m keeping mine at 60v. What do you want for it?

Can you use any controller on the ko motors ,

Is it okay to use a ko moto motor on the bac 4000 or 8000
Just Got Mine! 🤙🏼
Should have started with the motor buddy, paitence young padawhan
ill buy it how much do you want for it?
I use my iphone through Bluetooth to the Ko motor which tells me
Speed
Rpm
Kw
Motor temperature
Controller temperature
Battery percentage
And volts
Bro, he's gonna end up selling that bike cause he doesn't like the color way. In my opinion, I think the blue and black looks way better than purple.
i'll buy it.... hit me up yo !!!!!
Hey man, I actually already sold it!
Am I tripping or am i watching a new channel - Wasn't there 2 of these guys making videos? I'm confused - Not hard lol
