They arent saying its the worst thing. It is just a side of photography that is very stressful, and wasnt artistically rewarding for him. To each their own, That is the beauty of this art form. You make it what you want. Love weddings? cool, focus on that and crush it. if not, dont stress over it just because people think to be a photographer and make money that you have to shoot weddings. Shooting weddings is a huge opportunity to learn, and grow as a photographer. It teaches you so many different aspects, and styles of photography. It just so happens to be one of the most stressful ventures because of how important that day is for most people.

It is so nice to see someone handmaking something in this day and age. LOVE THAT! Also, this side if you, when you geek out and really lose yourself in the subject matter is the side I really enjoy watching. Your enthusiasm bleeds through and makes me want to care about whatever you're doing. Like discussing speed reductors in sewing machines. 😂

bro your stuff is legit. Almost 1k subs, that is going to be the hardest milestone. Growing your audience happens like investing money... it compounds. We typically only see the people who blow up so it makes you think your growing slow. Just keep doing what you love doing. If you do it for 5 years consistently you are going to win. You have to remember the numbers are real people and people are social animals. If you keep creating things true to who you are, that will make them uniq, the few people will take to a few people and one day you will wake up in a few years with a substantial amount of people, so focus on the people you have right now. Your account won't grow linear it will grow at a month over month %, try to hit at least 20% month over month. In a year from today you could be around 8k subs.. in a year after that 71k.. in 24 months is when you are going to be freakin winning hard.. the snowball effect at that point gets crazy. Also the long term win is a healthy one (not that a quick big win can't be) the 20% ish growth is far more predictable and if you study peoples channels you will see it. Back to slow growth and remembering that the numbers are real people... if you get 100s of people watching your weekly (or more) content over the next 2 years you will have spent more time with those individual then he/she will with most anyone else in their life other then a very small group of people like a spouse, parent, or coworker. So just do what you really love doing cus its a long game. Also you are winning people just don't see it... yet.

You are a true man of skills... Most often it is seen that people with many skills stay confused which way to follow. Yet the best part is to gather all these skills through time and finally be able to use them to create something wonderful.
In your case magic, leather work, photography, coffee, and more to come..... 👌
