When Paul delivered the immortal words ‘You’ve won the house’ to stunned Rachael Reid, who lives in Inverness, and confirmed its price tag, she had to check that she’d heard him right-before telling him that he wouldn’t believe how much the win, with an entry that cost her just £10, is going to change her family's life.
Mother-of-three, Rachael, said: “It’s been so surreal - never in my wildest dreams did I ever think we’d own a multi-million pound house."
When asked if she and husband, Darren, planned to keep the luxury, five bedroom house near Farnham, with a heated pool, sauna and landscaped gardens, Rachael simply said that whatever they decide, it’s going to change their lives forever. I'd have to spend some time there to decide. It would be difficult to let it go that's for sure!
We definitely would move in. To be honest,I only want the ones with gardens. Mainly for the gardens themselves. lol Sure the rest of the house is nice but a nice big garden is what I mainly desire. My son wouldn’t mind something like the next one in London. I love city living too, but that one doesn’t have a garden. But I would still like enjoy it and live in it for a bit before probably selling to buy one with a garden😁

Why emotional? Id get emotional if they came from a 2 bed flat example but theve got a gorgeous house in Inverness, they just moving to a bigger one, Happy for em yes but not emotional over it lol.
@@PaulaWilson444 I promise you, it is a truly beautiful place. It’s not just the house and Property, it is the whole physical location. It is (on what I believe to be) a private road, with just the right number of fascinating, individual (often quite breath taking) homes, it is richly forested, secluded, an absolute delight and joy of a place, yet with easy access to all the things you would wish, and an easy hour from the riches of London.
If I could buy that Property, I would do so in a heart beat, and count myself one of the luckiest people alive.
It is very emotional in the moment, when realisation grabs them, that they have a beautiful house ♥️
Rrrrrrr can you imagine the joy this has brought to their lives. I’m so jealous but also so pleased for them at the same time. Maybe next time we could be the winners. Fingers and toes crossed!🤞🏻
This is one of the most stunning houses by the way. My kids would be in that pool all the time!
It must be very overwhelming at first, until it all sinks in 🥰The kids wouldn't be the only ones in the pool all the time, how much fun could be had there?!

No Rachel, there is no garage, but you probably could put one maybe to the left of the entrance gates, there is quite a lot of depth between the drive and the road.
The area is fabulous, stunning forest walks very close. Turn left and walk down the long hill, you will find the house of the lady who sells delicious honey. (I think I bought the last of this years supply though, but it will be worth the wait.)
The golf club is easy walking distance, but best apply now, there is a two year waiting list for membership. Had I Won, I would be inclined to buy a four by four, and I don’t know, but the road it is on looks like a Private road, and you may well need to find out about the upkeep arrangements.
My first priority would be enhanced Security fencing, cctv is all very well, but effective physical barriers, make for a good nights sleep.
Everyone I met in the area was truly very nice, so I am certain it is an amazing place to live, if that’s what you choose to do. I am thrilled for you. I, like tens (maybe hundreds) of thousands of people seriously wanted that one, and I for one seriously put my money, time and effort into giving myself the best chance, but it doesn’t work like that, it’s about first class Astrology, fate, Karma, and what is needful in the grand scheme of things.
So I wish you all the very best Rachel, I hope it brings you and yours immense happiness.

So, yes, Rachael, regarding a garage, my other thought was, you know the private road that runs behind the house, where they have filled in what appears to have been an entrance with bushes, that could easily be opened up, and a garage put there, it maybe the Property owner already has access rights from that road, another one of those fun things to do when one acquires a new Property !!
@maius you went to visit the area that is amazing I previously thought about doing this with one previously as it was only 1 hour 30 mins away and I was close by on day out but life got in the way . I love that the energy you put into this and I believe you have more odds this way good luck in the future 🤍🕯

Got to remember that most people enter via the subscription model, which is £25 -50 a month. Most people on benefits would most likely choose alternatives like the lottery every week where they can enter for a couple of quid, so it is most likely why you don't see them winning this competition.
Kevin Bryant who Won the Cheshire house, certainly lived very near what were clearly once Council housing, and his home while acceptable, was Very far from Palatial, to say the least.

How is it that virtually all the prize winners claim to have only spent £10 on entering? And god forbid if Omaze had to explain away altering the demographics of “classy” areas.
Perhaps that’s what she told her husband.
I’ll be honest, I spent well over a thousand on that one (there is a £500 buy limit per month, but no limit on Postal entries: that is the most expensive way to enter)
Obviously, I have the money to do that, but it was a straight gamble, and I lost of course, but it was worth it to me at the time. I doubt I would bet that much on such a long shot ever again, I just really like the house and area !!!

Surprising someone is fine, but I think showing the draws live would make it more trustworthy. Is there any other reason why the draws aren't being shown live?

With the name you use on TH-cam, I would have thought you would know that we can only get Exactly what is deserved. Now, the rules of the game may be VERY different from what is generally thought, but what happens, happens aright, it simply cannot be otherwise.

I hear you. I wanted this one too. Definitely would have lived in it. I saw two others I like go on the market after they won. But everyone that enters deserves to win. Remember that the choice is to move in,sell or rent it out. Whatever they decide to do,is what they deserve for themselves. You have to know that you have to be in alignment,which clearly they were. You have to know that you decrease your chances to win your house by having negative feelings about previous winners. So redirect your focus and emotions to being in a state of winning.
