I know 8 am always repeating myself but I love your podcasts. I am always thrilled when I see you have a new one. I went shopping Saturday and I too noticed that the prices at Walmart are going up too and I was not able to get extra to put in my stock. Now where I get my meat I also got a lot of their sales but still high. LOOK, please never feel the need to apologize for how your home looks. 8 mean really your home is great and if someone doesn't like how it looks to bad for them
Hello from Ontario. The storage solution for the bathroom is amazing. Michelle has a good eye. I just received an air quality alert due to the “wildfires “ 😉 in Alberta, Halifax and now Quebec. I suspect food prices will increase dramatically . Due to crop’s struggling or failing because lack of sunlight. So it’s important for us all to be stocking up. The apartment is really coming along nicely with the new furniture. Our homes are our refuge from this crazy world. So to have nice things that bring us joy is vital. I really enjoy your videos and the comic relief here and there. 😂 Take care guys.
Don't apologize for buying some treats for yourselves. The way I look at it, you save money in one area so that you will have it in another. You did a great job remodeling the bathroom. I love the shelves. You could maybe store extra cleaning supplies or shampoos/soaps/deodorants. A lot of people forget about storing these items and they are also getting more expensive. Great storage . I was waiting behind a lady paying for her food shopping and she was saying she is glad the prices are going down so much 😮 Where is she shopping? I find the prices going up or at least the same. You really shouldn't have to explain a treat in your food haul.... but i know how some can be.❤
Another tip I learned when I had my hip replacement I get some command hooks put them on the wall in closet or just my outside wall to hang all my aids for dressing etc. it’s surprising how many things will fit on those hooks the 5-8 lb ones are very useful even in the kitchen and I’m not leaving a lot of holes for the next tenant . I’m. Not handy like Kevin to be putting shelving together .
Our cans, our dried foods, our personal, cleaning, and first-aid items are stocked.We are over-stocked on so much and I didn't think I would ever say that. I have new things going on with me and I just don't see myself capable of putting more away, room-wise or physically. I have taken up room in every room and I am not doing as well as I had. Enjoy yourselves! Go ahead and indulge a bit, but, THE LAST OF YOUR BEANS??? Stock beans, Kevin, stock a lot of canned beans. Seriously, for protein and ease, it's a heavy-hitter. I used to have an immaculate house, I am not capable of that anymore. Nice storage! Your bathroom looks fine and it's nice and big. I love your shower curtain! Mine have fish, so I wouldn't want yours near mine,LOL.
we have ducks and chickens...the ducks are loud and dirty...but best eggs ever. not selling any at present other than people who have been buying for a long time...We do our sandwiches with an english muffin, a sausage patty from wal mart (they sell them in a pretty big bag, and a slice of cheese. Egg goes in the little silicone circle for the perfect round fried egg AND is the exact size of an english muffin...sausage, egg, cheese..we have them for supper...best ever.
