I'm loving this series - exactly what I need to hear since I was (re-)diagnosed with gastritis and GERD. My doctor and nutritionist both recommended 5 small meals a day, which felt like grazing to me. I went into a food-obsession spiral (again); two meals a day had been my preference. But when I broke up the plan into 5 small meals, it worked. I ate this way for nine months until my stomach settled down and adjusted to a new regimen of medications. I now eat 4 small meals, still on plan, sometimes 3. Among other things, I discovered that sugar and flour exacerbate my symptoms, as well as other foods typically known to cause GERD flares. The structure and simplicity of the plan helped me parse out the specific foods that cause flares for me. My condition is chronic (inherited) and manageable. And, I will be a Bright Lifer forever because it keeps teaching and supporting me. Thank you, Team BLE, for bringing me peace around food!
Another brilliant vlog. Your generosity in offering scholarships for the Boot Camp exemplifies your compassionate heart and your desire to heal this planet from obesity and chronic illness. You are a bright shining light, Dr. SPT.
I’m in perimenopause and anemic. I need more protein/iron than recommended, so I always have extra protein. I also eat mostly vegetarian/vegan so sometimes go over with vegetables and don’t crucify myself for that. I do what works on BLE for me and feel great. It’s working for me this way and THAT matters to me!
Thank you for the clarification. I do have a question about the upcoming boot camp, I signed up 2 weeks ago and I am currently going through boot camp now, is this one in June something different?
Great question! It is the same Boot Camp 2.0 course content and format with all the same benefits and features. What is happening in June is a "launch event." Approximately three times a year we host a Boot Camp launch event with educational videos and live online interactive events. This helps us to get the word out about Boot Camp and reach folks in a different way. So the only difference is that folks who join in June will likely be joining at the same time as a large cohort of people who all start around the same time. Some people enjoy this collective experience, while other people value the option to start when the time is right for them. Regardless of when you start Boot Camp, you'll be added into the same private online support community which is filled with other Boot Campers and Bright Lifers (folks who have already completed the Boot Camp and stayed on in our membership). We hope this helps! 🧡

I get it because if you go outside the Bright Lines and you've been Bright for a while, then after going outside your plan, you will not have inner peace. Then you know what you can do and stay peaceful within your inner self. Just my experience and two cents!
I follow all 4 bright lines: no sugar, no flour, eat only at meals, measured food. However I follow another food plan, not the Bright Line Eating food plan. Am I still bright?
Hi there, yes, that is a good example of doing what gives you peace! If you are following the 4 Bright lines, then you are Bright. When in doubt, using the Four Questions or discussing with a coach or mastermind can be helpful. 🧡🧡🧡
I love this. I have had to modify my plan a little. Still no sugar and flour, and I am glad to know that our community does not judge
