I can 'only' win the queen, in the puzzle. Can't find a checkmate. You're still the best Igor, I really wish you'd to a speedrun, showing us different openings & tactics during games. No-one explains tactics, tricks & traps better than you, your speedrun would gain millions of likes. I'll check out your lesson sale & hope for a bargain! Love.
GM Igor you supply my favorite content! The reason? You're tapping into the heads of mid-level players (1500-1800). You're not afraid to explain your moves/strategy/thought process to your audience with a sense of true education.
Love these videos. I also like the courses I bought. The style is really different, trying to get people to understand how the game works. Keep it up Igor
One tip on the Knight Attack Opening ( Ng4), if you're White, in a more lengthy, equal variation, protect your C2 square that can potentially result in a fork of Whites King and Rook.
Great Igor, my question is if you have videos giving hints on what to do when you are ahead (sometimes far ahead) in development but during the middle game it gets diluted. Thanks for your insights.
I'm a beginner and it's so awesome having these videos with explanations. I've been watching the Bishop opening videos, want to generalize more with the attacking Bishop with the Italian opening. My question is at 16:19, since the white Bishop at c4 is a key to the Italian game, what if black want to neutralize it by moving it to e6 instead of pinning the knight? Does white just benefit from the poor black pawn structure?
Great video. Can you cover the world championship btw gukesh and ding. It would be great to hear from a GM, the moves and strategies done by the players in the game.
It was an interesting video, although the computer does not accept some victims, it seems wrong, of course, we humans make mistakes, but we are looking for strong traps that end in winning, not losing.
8:40 Not sure what do I miss, but instead of Qxf7, what about Qe5+ ? All that black can do is to defend on e7 by either Qe7 or Be7 and then white Qh5+ and whatever black plays, Qf7 is next move. Or am I wrong?
I have played the queen out in front of the King after the King captures the knight. Most opponents won't capture the queen with their queen, but instead take the knight with the bishop. Then I interpose my bishop between the king and the attacking bishop. If they take the bishop, I take back with the King still guarding the queen. I will lose another minor piece but not the game necessarily. What about this?

You just showed how to break down a castle king with no problem. This can be used in so many different ways. Thanks for this

Glad you liked it!
@@efthorpe gm igor can u pls give a guide for black in opening
6:29 1. Rxe6 fxe6, 2. f7+ winning the Queen
+qe5 check wins the game
But after Rxe6+ , Kd7?
@mihirgaonkar If Kf7 then Qe5, King is forced to move and you take the Queen.

You are literally my online coach with these videos since 2022.
Wish I could get your guidance now(Not your courses).
🙂
Just on time! My teacher suggested me studying the Italian!
Bro 😂😂😂😂😂
Italian game is my favorite opening, thanks a lot!
Thanks coach Igor❤❤
I just got nailed by the Blackburn-Shilling gambit, so this was great. I hadn't seen it before (beginner).
Wow, this is a really good video. I can't remember it all in one viewing, but it's nice to just see an overview. will watch again for sure.
Your way explaining very simple but very effective I really like it
A fried Liver / Traxler from both perspectives would be cool. Sure, they're a ton of them out there already but it's just good fun, playful chess. :)
Haa. Italian. Was waiting for this one

excellent video 👏👏👏👏
Thanks for a new precious lesson👏👌👌👌
The best one about the Italian game

Love ur vids
Rxe6 - fxe6 - f7 - no matter where the king moves you take the queen. If they dont take on e6 you are up a piece
you ment f7 right?
@@dmantoyes I'm sure he meant f7
sorry I'm not that good at chess, but what happens if the king is moved to d7 in response to Rxe6?
You take the queen
@@streamcookiesxcreamYou are a bishop up.
Either retreat the rook before you lose it.
Or continue to attack eg queen to give a check.
Please do this for the london
Please igor make video on sicilian difense main line for white😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Please do lesson caro kann also.
Igor plz cover and analyze the critical moves
21:59 most humiliating line for single like me
Big like even before watching !!!
Rock and roll baby!
Make one for najdorf
Tks
Please do this for the Ruy Lopez
6:33 Probably Rxe6+, they have to take with the f pawn, then white to f7 mate & bishop threatens queen
How do you feel about the Evans gambit?
Can you please make a video about Evans Gambit. You have only one video that you have made yourself❤
any chance you could do a version for Queens Gambit? Igor 🙏
It was an interesting video, although the computer does not accept some victims, it seems wrong, of course, we humans make mistakes, but we are looking for strong traps that end in winning, not losing.
16:19 Ng4 instead of d6
"plain game" is the most natural translation in English of the Italian "giuoco piano"
8:40 Not sure what do I miss, but instead of Qxf7, what about Qe5+ ? All that black can do is to defend on e7 by either Qe7 or Be7 and then white Qh5+ and whatever black plays, Qf7 is next move. Or am I wrong?

Yes: probably "gioco piano" meant "easy game" (not "slow game").

Hey igor i analized my games and i found out that when my opponents make a positional mistake i cant make use of it
when if black will play 1st move as e6 varriation than how to move as White?
Mr Igor I wanted to ask some things that is it mithun Chakraborty really famous in Russia? Like the person in disco dancer song. Is it true ?
"Igor Smirnov" - there literally couldn't be a more Russian name! (Maybe Mikhail Kalashnikov)
2:47
So if black doesn’t open with the pawn and knight, yet I still move my pawn bishop and rook this isn’t considered the Italian game?
sacrifice the rook to double attack the king and queen
Good things come to those who bait may be the worst hook line ive ever heard😂
🎉
Rxe6+
What if black plays night to f6?
I also keep loosing to that
what if e6 instead of e5?
Man I'm really struggling to find a solid weapon against the sicilian that isnt some gambit line
Try the prins variation gm igor has uploaded it already it has a simple setup no theory
@@Monish-z3t I'll check it out thanks

Rook takes bishop on e6
14:46 what if they take rook
Qh5
opening for black
Rook into bishop
Chess is a nice game. Sad that most chess players not worse air they inhale. Why descent people almost never play this game?
Mostly because of ligma
