Anyway, please allow a mere Brummie to say how much I enjoyed it. I never actually rode on a Walsall trolley 'bus - only Wolverhampton ones, where I grew up. But I did attend the *last day* of Walsall trolley 'buses, & took a few b&w shots...

To think they were replaced by smoky diesels. I suppose every generation looks back to their youth thinking it was a more gentile time.

I thought the trolley buses great I was seven when they disappeared from Walsall. Living on the Mossley I used them often. Difficult to belive they were got rid of😢.

@@fatdog1963rb By 1973 diesel was not cheaper just 3 years after the trolleys was withdrawn.

I remember going to Walsall shopping with my parents when I was a kid and being fascinated by these!
