In this video I used a 25 yard roll, but you can use larger rolls or multiple rolls at a time so that you don't have to do as many passes. For instance, you can use three 25 yard rolls and do a single pass instead if three passes as shown in the video.
Hi, I am planning on making some pom poms for my wedding, and your tutorial makes it look so easy! I wondered what length rolls have you used there? Thanks!
Here is the formula: (A*B*3)/36. A is the diameter of your finishing pom, the size you made your circle before folding it in half; B is A*2 because you always double the diameter to know how many times you wrap on a single pass, 3 is for three passes, and 36 is the number of inches in a yard so you can convert it into yards. The math for an 8" pom pom. (8*16*3)/36 so about 10.5 yards.
I need to make a small, about 3.5inches in size, pom pom.I want it in two different colors...what should be the size of the template, and, how do I mix two tulle colors?

Great tutorial. How many yards total are used on the 8" and 22" pom pom?

If you forgot to do part of the first part what do I do to fix it ???
Excellent👍🏼
Thank you 👍
how much do you leave extra do I need to tie pom pom on to pew chairs? What size pom pom do you recommend
I would leave yourself several feet just in case. And as far as how big for a pew, I have no idea.
i have the same question myself.
How big is the circle in the middle "center"? Thanks!
On the small circle I am demonstrating it is 1.5" on the 22" form it was about 4". It is slightly less than 20% of your diameter.
Where can I find the template?
Sorry for the lack of reply. You make them yourself from cardboard.
