Hey Bro...do you know anything about putting a 4.4L TDV8 (Range Rover engine) in a Discovery 4 ? I believe Ford makes these engines, branded as Ford Lion. They also make the TDV6 that currently goes in the Discovery 4. I've seen only one on TH-cam but there was no detailed explanation on how its done. I'd love to get your thoughts on this. I'm pulling the trigger on getting a discovery 4 with under 200K miles. Once that engine is kaput, i want to replace with a TDV8
It surely can be done. However, it’s not a direct swap. A few Modz need to be done e.g mounting points, coolant lines, radiator and intercooler, wiring harness and loom etc
