This might be a dumb question but when you measure anything, do you start from the Metal tip at the end or 1 ?
You start at the metal tip- the zero mark

Now I know how to take body measurements, but what now? How do I apply these measurements? How do I translate my body measurements into tailored clothes?

Hi, thank you so much for this! I just have a question about the bust measurements. Should you take those with or without a bra? Is it dependant on the garment, or should you always measure the bust with a bra on?

Quick question! My pattern calls for a back waist measurement, would this be the same as measuring nape of neck to waist or is this just the width of the waist in the back?
