I think Ziz is a huge bait for new players. I followed a lot of his videos and made no progress until I switched over to some other, lesser well-known guides. I really appreciate what Ziz is trying to do but I think he needs to rethink his approach a little.

In addition to being able to sell 3 maps to get 1 of the next tier, changing one of the maps being sold can change which map you receive. So if you have 4 of the same map, selling maps 1, 2, & 3 will give map A, but selling maps 1, 2, & 4 might give map B, and then selling maps 2, 3, & 4 might give map C. Another player had said if you have 7 of a map, you're almost guaranteed to be able to sell some combination of them to get any of the next tier maps.
@@brandonbuzz7075 Just keep playing normally and going through maps. Once you reach high enough tier of map, you will meet an NPC named “The Envoy”. After meeting him, kill the map boss and you will drop a compass. After this, clicking on your map device in your hideout will allow you to add Eater or Exarch influence to your maps. Let me know if this doesn’t make sense, or if you have any other questions!
@@RegalpowerRPG literally about 5 minutes after I had posted this comment I finally had done enough Exarch maps to get that invitation and now I got that void stone which is my first, I have two of the maven fight tokens just haven’t used them yet, gonna do the Eater then the maven and already have 2/4 for the Uber Elder fight so should be golden soon… this is my most nearly char of any season, 4million dps and 500k ehp… it’s legit
Awesome video. Question, adding the void stones increased the map levels on your Atlas but how does the effect you later on if you already completed the map? Is this so that you can go back to those maps and get better map drops?
@@trippy1v349 Yep, you got it! If your favorite map happens to be a T1 map, all you have to do is insert your 4 voidstones and it will start dropping as a T16 maps with appropriate area level/loot tables!
Heyy question - I think I understand that to get maven splinters, I need to run 10 maps with Maven watching the map, and then I can use one of the maven invitiations which will drop the splinter. First off is that right? Secondly what is the purpose of all the different types of maven invitations? Like Maven "Feared" Maven "Formed"? So far I haven't noticed why those matter
Good question. Having Maven witness 10 map bosses enables you to do “Mavens Invitation: The Atlas” this is only one of many Maven Invitations, and you can have her watch much more than just map bosses. I also explain this in my Maven guide. That might be helpful for you.

ty for this vid, I have been playing for years and never even once got a voidstone or even knew what it was, all the streamers like Ziz keep talking about voidstones but never explain what they are, how to get them or whey they are stored.
This was a good video and there was one thing you said which caught my attention, and that's penalty if being in too high level. I've been suffering from being unable to get practically anything from maps below tier 8. That means 1-3c worth of valuables, even if I juice them with all I have. They just seem to be lacking wisps, and 1000 is all I can find, and it won't help. Many experienced players have told me that there's no level penalties in maps and I should run lower tier maps, which I can clear fast, but that's obviously not the case. I'm in level 91, and can easily complete most of the tier 16 maps as a corrupted rare form, if I don't get very unlucky roll. I have also defeated some pinacle bosses, but can't clear well juiced tier12 maps. In a lucky time, I can get something like 30c per map, but it's not enough for moving forward with current prices. When I was at level 89, I have a short time where I was able to get better drops and get few divs worth of currency. I was doing mostly tier 5 maps and getting about 2-6k of wisps. Then I upgraded some gear and was able to complete most of my atlas, leveling up a few levels in a process. Then things got much worse, and for example tier 10 maps don't give me nothing. From tier 12+, I start to find wisps, but also get practically unkillable monsters, which constantly kill me and I end up using more than half hours per map. Still I get only that 20-30c, if not counting random higher value drops. My gear is worth about 2 divs, and to get my build much better, I'd need 10div bow, couple of 20div amulets and bunch of 1-5 div jewels. I'm trying to figure out have I falled into deep pit with no way out, or if there's something I can do. Is that level penalty mechanism explained in somewhere, so I could do some planning, and do you know anything what could help me in this. Same time as my income goes down, I see videos about insane drops and prices if items go up. I've been looking for videos how to make currency, but most of them assume I actually get something from maps. I have been spending 30c for delirium orb and getting only 15 total as a loot.
There is no loot penalty for being overleveled or underleveled. Items have levels they can drop at. Technically you could drop a Mirror in Act 3. The penalty I was talking about is the experience penalty. This is applied to you when the area level is far away from your level. You can see the exact windows on the wiki, but if you’re in maps, just shoot for being ~8-9 levels max from the maps level. If you’re losing money buying deli orbs, then you need to stop buying deli orbs immediately. There’s a billion different ways to make currency in PoE, I haven’t made any guides about this yet. I got 3 divine orb in consequent maps and one unique item, priced for one divine. I didn't change anything, but I was able to get 6k wisp's again, and quite good drops even without juicing the maps. What is more weird, this pattern has now repeated three times, 24.12, 30.12 and now 6.1, quite accurately in a week period. Unless there's some penalty I managed to trigger, this starts to sound like a bug in a game. I have got so far 3 divines during 200 hours of playtime and now three times in a row. That's way out of statistical variation.

Very nice video. Personaly i not recomend to go wandering patch for new player. Its not a must, i still not used this league, and dont have problem for map sustain. I think best tipp for new player go for extra kirak for easy map completion, and chose the leage mechanic you like and spend point for that.
