I just bought a 30% off belt. I could not find any flaws in the belt. The leather is the softest I have ever had in a belt. Not sure if that is good or bad for its longevity. Its already my favorite belt,
The special edition Texas Wild Alligator boots they sold were amazing. Yes, they were almost $5K, but they were *wild alligator.* That's just what it costs.
Tactile Turn?! Blade HQ?! DUDE, your channel is rapidly becoming one of my favorites!😂 That being said, Justin used to offer a lace-up roper, they were great for duty wear, but no longer offer the model. If Chisos offered a similar model, it would be the last boot I ever need!
When are you bringing back the cowboy boots series? There is so many other brands to cut open like Rios Anderson Bean, Justin, Dan Post, as well as some box stores brands. You can easily make two more rounds of the series.
Thanks for the video. I’ve watched all of you cowboy boot series and they were all very helpful. Just picked up a walled from your scratch and dent sale. Keep up the good work!
Need a pair of these! I also want that camera strap you sell. Btw, that brand on the “imperfect” leather would make a cool…something. To me, that’s pretty unique and cool.
I have #1s 10.5 D and love them! Fit perfect and the most comfortable cowboy boot I've ever owned. I went down a half size as I usually wear an 11 in athletic shoe.
Bought a pair of rough out #2s from Chisos earlier this year after seeing you cut them in half. I got a size 12.5D and probably should have went with a EE but I just committed because of their return stipulations. No regrets, after 9 months of wear they fit me like a literal glove.
I bought a brown pair pre-Covid. My only complaint was they turned my white socks a shade of red. When I shared this with Will, he sent me three pairs of black socks gratis. So then I bought a black pair of boots, too. I can attest to the quality of the boots and their customer service. As for knives, that automatic knife looks like it has a blade that’s too long to be legal here in California. That’s why my automatic knife from Kershaw has a blade that’s 1.9 inches long.
I have 2 pairs of Chisos boots. No 1 in black and No 2 in brown. I had to return the first pair to go up half a size. Then the 2nd pair I knew the size to order. My Chisos are a half size bigger than my Red Wings and a full size bigger than my Whites. Chisos customer service was great.
I'd love to see a pair of Stetson Carlisle boots cut in half. They seem to have very similar construction and materials to Chisos but are half the price made in Leon Mexico
I bought a pair and man let me tell yeah they really hurt my feet, sadly I had to return them, man I wish they would’ve fit me better, they smelled and felt so good.
Weston, please review Fenoglio boots! They are so competitively priced for a boot made in the USA, but we need your review to see the quality of materials!
I know damn well I did not just see what I just saw... Never ever Cuff with cowboy boots on!! The sacrilege you just did! But now you know!!! Nice stepper by the way!
Tried chisos once. One of the boots was a 9D and one was clearly a 9EE marked as a 9D. I returned them and was charged return shipping even though it was their mistake (and I didn't want to exchange because of the clear quality control issues).
They have a Facebook group and one of the chief complaints is the sizing and QC issues...at that price point they should be damn well close to perfect and shouldn't charge return shipping on a clearly defective product. Your and others negative experience pretty have to date prevented me from buying a pair.
@@cjanquartthat’s Not true at all. Those are One off situations that every book maker can and will run into. I’m the admin and I’ve seen that 2 times in almost 4 years. Sorry about your situation , but that’s Not a normal situation or complain with Chisos. Merry Christmas !
You need to actually look at beck boots they are made more traditional and actually use foot impressions in foam to size and make the cowboy boots according to those measurements
I had a pair of Cody James cowboy boots with the foam insoles. I get they're not as nice as these, but all foam insoles kinda suck. They are swampy, smelly, and crumbly.
I used to agree, which is why I created my own. Leather-topped. Tested for wear over 12 months. I think you'll find that ours are different. Not made in China, made in Mexico. -Will
When I think about the fact that these Golden Goose sneakers, this junk that was recently cut apart and then hopefully disposed of in a very deep pit, are more expensive than these boots...
I love my #2’s. My most comfortable staying on my feet nice shoes. I have them in rough out. I need to buy another pair to just beat the shit out of. The only problem is they look so darn nice.
Is a "barefoot style" western boot possible? I understand that on cowboy boots/riding boots, the narrow toe is to easily fit into the stirrup, and the heel is so your foot doesn't go through. Could a western style boot be made without those features and be more foot friendly? These described features surely contribute to the style and iconic nature of cowboy boots, and could a boot even be made in this style without them? I love cowboy boots, but they are simply too hard on my feet to enjoy wearing
I dont understand people who buy these online.... this place, tecovas, and lucchese are all right by each other in my town and are pretty widespread.... just go try them on and find the right style and fit. They always have helpful sales ppl who are more than willing to assist.
I was left very disappointed wirh Chisos. I had to return two pairs of the #2s. I got a refund, but QC is clearly an issue for them. The second pair i ordered was way worse than the first, wirh sloppy paint (burnishing?) and a super loose fit on one fit that would have lead to a broken ankle. I couldnt believe it made it in the box past QC.
A lot of guys wearing too wide of a boot. Get in a store and have someone fit you. Anderson Bean is great for size availability and actually made in Texas rather than just talking about Texas and being made in Mexico. 👍
They’re not made in Texas. They’re made in Mexico. They’re advertising a Mexican made boot like it’s Texan. The brand is but not the boot. This boot is well made, looks great, but it’s way overpriced for regular cowhide.
LOL, you always second guess the sizing and end up screwing up. Beautiful boots, I like that toe shape too, but cowboy boots ain't for me, especially living in Europe.
Cowboy boots dont make sense to me. They look cool, but rub and hurt my feet worse than anything ive ever worn. Boots without laces or a way to tighten them dont work for me.
If you're wanna position yourself as a high-end bootmaker, then you need to offer more than just D and EE sizes. Any legitimate bootmaker knows and does this. Western boot fit can be very finicky, and a lot of folks find they need to order a size longer than usual, but in a narrower B width. I'm not saying Chisos boots aren't high quality. but if you want folks to pay those kinds of prices, then they need to allow for the opportunity to achieve an optimal fit.

Would love a rose anvil x chisos collab. Or some kind of cowboy boot collab at least
Oh that would be awesome!!
Sizing information is very useful. Great video.

Take a look at JK’s new cowboy boots!!
I love my Chisos, I’ve had mine for years now and they’re still going strong 💪
Chisos are literally the bucket list boot for me. One day when the stars (and funds) align.
Need a pair of these! I also want that camera strap you sell.

This makes my day to hear! Thank you, amigo! -Will
I went true-to-size on mine and they were perfect. I got the no 1 in black and brown. I am contemplating getting a pair of the rough out.
Heck yeah! Thank you for the patronage, sir!

Very glad they molded over time to your fit!
Can confirm with your advice on sizing. I had to do some switcharoos at first but ended up with exactly what you suggested

That tiny CA legal auto knife is jumpy and I wince every time I deploy it, main reason why I just carry my PM2 all the time.

Those boots look incredible
I've suggested Hondo boots several times
Thanks for your review! I used you link to purchase my pair of Chisos no.2
2:43 Will from Chisos is on Kill Tony? Like he did a spot on Kill Tony? If so, which episode?
I'd love to see a pair of Stetson Carlisle boots cut in half. They seem to have very similar construction and materials to Chisos but are half the price made in Leon Mexico
Can you please give us your sizing advise on the Russel Moccasins.
I have a pair of #2 brown. I really like them.
Thank you!
VERY PERSONAL 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 GREAT CUT🎉🎉🎉
Chisos are the next Cowboy boot I’m buying for sure.
❤
I bought a pair and man let me tell yeah they really hurt my feet, sadly I had to return them, man I wish they would’ve fit me better, they smelled and felt so good.

You deserve the boots man!!
How can you cut them up and not even own a pair of cowboy boots
Can you do the Vessi Stormburst? And the Yeezy Nsltd Boot?
I know damn well I did not just see what I just saw... Never ever Cuff with cowboy boots on!! The sacrilege you just did! But now you know!!! Nice stepper by the way!
Yep. Never in my life have I seen someone roll up their jeans like a hipster with cowboy boots, but I guess I can’t say that anymore.
@DanBCooper Tucking I can accept because that was the original point for not messing up the trousers and what not. But this is TABOO!!
Tried chisos once. One of the boots was a 9D and one was clearly a 9EE marked as a 9D. I returned them and was charged return shipping even though it was their mistake (and I didn't want to exchange because of the clear quality control issues).

Yeah, the one boot that fit was nice, but I couldn't justify it for the price. Also one of the heel stacks was super crooked.

Crazy that Tony Lama isn’t in this conversation
You should connect with Bourbon Moth (woodworking), he just designed a bomber knife, EDC folding knife and chisel.

Review on JK Western cowboy boot when!!??
I love my #2’s. My most comfortable staying on my feet nice shoes. I have them in rough out. I need to buy another pair to just beat the shit out of. The only problem is they look so darn nice.
Forgive me if you already have done this, but can you give your thoughts on Edward Green? Much appreciated!
DO THE STETSON BOOTS IF YOU BRING BACK THIS SERIES
Better than Lucchese?
Do they have a less stressful drop from heel to toe?? These look amazing though
Yes the no.6
Knocked loose shirt yessirr
Would love to see Boulet boots, would be nice to see canadian cowboy boots
Mine are 1/2 size larger than my bannock. Had to mostly for the width.

Yes their no.6 pair is more of a sneaker feel super comfortable! Way more comfortable than a classic cowboy boot

It’s a damn shame they don’t make wide Ropers
Highest quality for the price, sure, but Texas Traditions are probably the best cowboy boots
Even we agree. Texas Traditions are legendary.
I think I made arguments against them already. I forget if it was the price range or the styling that I liked less now.
I think they had one model that looked better than any of the Tecovas???
Square toe is fine if you're riding horses or shoveling stalls, I guess, but then these were pricey for shoveling stalls or whatever it was.
No, the pointy toes look way better for out on the town and such.
I would not want any much slippage in boots with no laces.
you didn't mention the rubber heel cap
A lot of guys wearing too wide of a boot. Get in a store and have someone fit you. Anderson Bean is great for size availability and actually made in Texas rather than just talking about Texas and being made in Mexico. 👍
Mexican made boots are way better than Texas actually.
Whaaaaat?!?! Everyone know when you go EE, stay true to size.

Beautiful boots, I like that toe shape too, but cowboy boots ain't for me, especially living in Europe.
Chisos is a good boot mo doubt, but Olathe and Boulet are hands down better ranching riding tougher ‘’cowboy working boots’’
Well if your ranching / riding you obviously need specifically high tops with a spur shelf while you’re doing that… so your point ?
Cowboy boots dont make sense to me. They look cool, but rub and hurt my feet worse than anything ive ever worn. Boots without laces or a way to tighten them dont work for me.
Sounds like a you problem partner.
Made in México

All that Texas bravado and the boots are made in Mexico lolololol.
What are you on about? The best boots in the world are all made in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico.
Do they have a less stressful drop from heel to toe?? These look amazing though
The #6 style is a roper boot with a shorter heel.
