However when I first got to Sephiroth I did get a nagging feeling the moment this theme played that I was in for something special and dreaded. Was almost immediately killed a few seconds later. Later on when I had a friend over and I was showing this to him, turned out he did play and finish VII and he told me that I was a lot more screwed then I never thought I was and proceeded to explain who Sephiroth was.

I've never played Kingdom Hearts before, so until I found this video on the sidebar, I had no idea Sephiroth was in it. Just to think that this is the same game that has Disney characters in it tagging along with beautiful Square Enix characters...and they're all facing SEPHIROTH?!!! You need to level up your Valor Drive form so you can use it's high jump abilitie to help reach Sephiroth in the air. You could also level up Sora's master drive form Ariel Dodge to reach him as well.

i remember how much rage this brought me trying to complete it and how good it felt when i finally did and then came kingdom hearts 2 and once i saw him i thought oh boy here we go again and almost cried when i saw how much health he had in 2.
It really feels like your looking at an angry and unimaginably powerful being. One that you can't even begin to fathom. It builds it's sense of imminent deviation so well, I love it.
I was able to beat this game in a matter of 3 days without much trouble at all, but when it came to fighting this guy I'm down in seconds WHY IS HE SO POWERFUL
Joshua Brown I beat him at level 75 but it took me like 20 tries before I could get his attack pattern all right and you have to get to at least level 1 on each of the forms in order to dodge his attacks

Guys this battle is nothing compared to what I did. If you had a CodeBreaker for your PS2 than I advice you to download the code that allows you to fight Sephiroth where ever you go. WHERE EVER YOU GO! Even in a small area. Except the old black and white Mickey world. Anyways, once you get both of those try fighting Xemnas and Sephiroth on the last difficulty mode. Sephiroth will fight you all the way through except the part where you and Riku are on that flying vehicle fighting the Dragon.
everytime 1:22 comes on my mind just returns to the crazed frenzy the fight would devolve into by the last phase, sephiroth's just teleporting everywhere, his footsteps are like in every direction, he's spamming death balls and fire pillars, and im just spamming heals and strike raid
Jeez, this makes me remember something that happened about a year-ish back; I was about to spend the night at a friend's place, and then all I hear, as I walk in their house, is this song blaring from my friend's room. I threw my stuff onto the couch in the main room, jolted to his room, and yelled at him, *"(friend's name), DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU'RE UP AGAINST?"* Simply put, he didn't live long in the game afterward, lol.
I remember when this game came out, me, my mother and my 30 year old brother all played it. I was the last to unlock the battle against Sephiroth, but the first to take him down. I was 11. I felt like such a legitimate badass because I beat this big honking boss before my brother, who was ALWAYS better at video games than me. Then 2 came out and I realized how much of a child I truly was. Still kicked his ass tho
Sephiroth, Lingering Will, and the data battles defined what it meant to be an optional boss. People can complain all they want about bosses like Malenia in Elden Ring that require a specific course of action to dodge the attack rather than just pressing B/O, but those people can’t even begin to comprehend what a Larxene with no reflega is.
I was a kid when I first met Sephiroth in Kingdom hearts, and I tried hard for almost a week to beat him. At present days I will never waste so much time. Incredible how things changes when you grow up

One of the hardest/ most memorable bosses I’ve ever beaten and the music is amazing! That one attack in particular that he has (sends your HP to one and then follows it up with a leaping sword attack) is ridiculous. Was playing Elden Ring recently and thought Malenia actually kinda reminds me of this fight. Brought back memories both fond and painful lol 😂
What‘s really awesome is the fact that this version, as well as the re-recorded version from 1.5 ReMIX features the exact recording of the choir used in Final Fantasy VII! :D

Just to think that this is the same game that has Disney characters in it tagging along with beautiful Square Enix characters...and they're all facing SEPHIROTH?!!! That's...Disney and Final Fantasy were huge influences on me...but I've never associated them together, let alone...okay that's it, I'm getting the game. Congrats, Kingdom Hearts fans. yes you can do something, run far away from him and get ready to use an elixer right after he does heartless angel, always works for me.
jvkirbyfan1 Yeah but what if one is trying to save his or her elixir? After watching a show called "Cheat" that use to come on G4, she explained how to hit him when goes to do Heartless Angel. You need to level up your Valor Drive form so you can use it's high jump abilitie to help reach Sephiroth in the air. You could also level up Sora's master drive form Ariel Dodge to reach him as well.

i remember how much rage this brought me trying to complete it and how good it felt when i finally did and then came kingdom hearts 2 and once i saw him i thought oh boy here we go again and almost cried when i saw how much health he had in 2.
It really feels like your looking at an angry and unimaginably powerful being. One that you can't even begin to fathom. It builds it's sense of imminent deviation so well, I love it.

I was able to beat this game in a matter of 3 days without much trouble at all, but when it came to fighting this guy I'm down in seconds

Hes said to be one of the strongest. or maybe the strongest enemy in the game.
I was able to beat him on Kingdom Hearts II at level 89.
Joshua Brown I beat him at level 75 but it took me like 20 tries before I could get his attack pattern all right and you have to get to at least level 1 on each of the forms in order to dodge his attacks
Sephiroth is just a badass....but Vincent Valentine is even more of a badass than Sephiroth....

Guys this battle is nothing compared to what I did. If you had a CodeBreaker for your PS2 than I advice you to download the code that allows you to fight Sephiroth where ever you go. WHERE EVER YOU GO! Even in a small area. Except the old black and white Mickey world. Anyways, once you get both of those try fighting Xemnas and Sephiroth on the last difficulty mode. Sephiroth will fight you all the way through except the part where you and Riku are on that flying vehicle fighting the Dragon.

Jeez, this makes me remember something that happened about a year-ish back; I was about to spend the night at a friend's place, and then all I hear, as I walk in their house, is this song blaring from my friend's room. I threw my stuff onto the couch in the main room, jolted to his room, and yelled at him, *"(friend's name), DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU'RE UP AGAINST?"* Simply put, he didn't live long in the game afterward, lol.

I remember when this game came out, me, my mother and my 30 year old brother all played it. I was the last to unlock the battle against Sephiroth, but the first to take him down. I was 11. I felt like such a legitimate badass because I beat this big honking boss before my brother, who was ALWAYS better at video games than me.
Then 2 came out and I realized how much of a child I truly was.

People can complain all they want about bosses like Malenia in Elden Ring that require a specific course of action to dodge the attack rather than just pressing B/O, but those people can’t even begin to comprehend what a Larxene with no reflega is.

One of the hardest/ most memorable bosses I’ve ever beaten and the music is amazing! That one attack in particular that he has (sends your HP to one and then follows it up with a leaping sword attack) is ridiculous.
