Not sure why Daniel updated video description late last year to state property is now sold. Seems like it was never truly for sale. Owner gauging market maybe? Beautiful overview. I wish you’d show the boundaries of the property. There are what appear to be clearings and open land adjacent to this property. Really pretty and dreamy. What if…
I agree that the road noise is a big negative. Also, most of the trees around the house appear to be deciduous, so during the winter their leaves will have dropped off, allowing for the road noise to be even greater. Nice video.
You know the thing about weight was definitely a compliment, as you're very well improved by it. Not to mention letting the hair get long. Very nice. And sharing in your happiness at having someone to cherish you with nice meals. Always assume the best. And, I want one of those calendars this time around. And a 2-week volunteer slot - looked at the booking group you use and it seemed like the calendar was full till for the next year.
Fantastic, if only..... with all that vegetation around the house, imagine the property is very protected from squalls in winter. Just charming. Thank you.
I think that someone might not like some stuff but you just have to estimate what it would cost to haul it away. You could just have a giant garage sale to clear out stuff or donate to the neighbours and set up some relationships. I really want to reorganize the storage space. Could you reset it up as a rec room/station house. I think some of the rooms converted to bedrooms would be fun. Nice that it’s on high ground. Fruit trees would be a bit of an income.
Is there any chance you could find property with land for around 30, 000 (my budget) it wouldn't need a habitable house just around an acre of land. But I really enjoy all your videos to be honest
I do hope that whoever buys/bought this property has nothing but the utmost respect for the native woodland and the wildlife that has made its home there .
Thank you very much for sharing this. Looks really beautiful and interesting. You didn't mention a bathroom. Is there any bathroom inside or maybe an outhouse...?

Lovely property if somewhat quirky. Looking at those apple trees think of apple juice, cider etc. And speaking of brambles I've been picking blackberries by the kolo on my brothers farm all win win 🏆 I envy the person who makes the purchase 🤔
Oh man, could you imagine...turning that weird part of the house that makes no sense into a cafe that serves pastries and fresh honey and apples. With a cycle path, and good bike parking, you could make a bunch of money that could easily be lived off of. If only purchasing a house in Ireland came with citizenship. Sigh....
@@danav.2559 I don't know about lots of us, but I do know lots are dying to come here. I struggle a lot between trying to be happy where I am, and wanting to leave. I know I'm lucky to live here, and not worry that I'll be financially destroyed if I get sick, but Canada is NOT perfect, nor is any other country. Our cost of living is astronomically high. The place I live in now...were it to burn down, my rent would almost double if I had to find the same thing somewhere else. How is that affordable? I will likely never own a freestanding house here. Were I to make the same amount of money in a place like Ireland (outside of Dublin, of course), I could buy a house with a few acres! That's all I want, just the chance to own a place and try to grow my own food. It makes me sad that in order to have that here, I have to win the lottery. It makes me even more sad that it's easier to take a trip to Ireland, meet a man, fall in love, get married, and immigrate over there.
A wonderful property with lots of potential. If the walls could talk it would be interesting to listen to the stories of the lives of all that traveled between the route.
I could so see this property turned into accommodation and tourist attraction! Recreate a train line and platform with lots of history and memorabilia. Sell home made honey and apple sauce! And even put in and do up an old train carriage for holiday accommodation. Would look amazing! 🚂🌳💚
I would tear down the camper ie caravan, salvage metal, windows and what ever else that's salvageable. Pigs would clean up the under growth and clear that garden spot. If I didn't have to work full time, that would be a dream with all the projects.
Apparently this property wasn't sold, as it has gone up for sale today, but at a much higher price - they want €149,000 now. I wonder if they had a lot of interest, so put up the price. It looks like they put in a tall fence to keep the pets -probably cats - in, but with our cats who like to roam, I wouldn't want to be near that road, we are looking for something rural but at the end of a road. I hope you can do more property tours in the future!
Looks lovely, but I would like to mention that in Ireland you are likely to be bidding against other buyers, so the price should be seen as a starting point. This was an unexpected surprise to us last year, when we were trying to buy an Irish house. We got out bid many times but the house we did get was on rightmove so we had no other bidders thank goodness!

If you have even one grandparent that was born in Ireland, and have access to the documentation, you can get Irish citizenship.
@@movinon1242 I know. I don't, though. We are Canadian through and through!
@@movinon1242 No grandparents. I wish 6 great-grandparents counted.
@@jennhall522 Lots of people want to leave Canada, right? My daughter too, since we're not allowed to come visit her any more.
Question: how realistic is it for an American to buy a small cottage in the west of Ireland but only come over a couple times a year?
Great video as always, love looking at these cottages
If I lived in Ireland, that's the one I'll buy 👍😊
A wonderful property with lots of potential. If the walls could talk it would be interesting to listen to the stories of the lives of all that traveled between the route.
Beautiful! Someone will be lucky to live there!
I could so see this property turned into accommodation and tourist attraction! Recreate a train line and platform with lots of history and memorabilia. Sell home made honey and apple sauce! And even put in and do up an old train carriage for holiday accommodation. Would look amazing! 🚂🌳💚
My kind of place. I love all the treasures. If it were only in the US. I would be all over that place. Thanks for sharing.
Hi lovely to see your video always great. Job well done. Take care
I would tear down the camper ie caravan, salvage metal, windows and what ever else that's salvageable. Pigs would clean up the under growth and clear that garden spot. If I didn't have to work full time, that would be a dream with all the projects.
Love everything about this property.
you articulate so well, why do you introduce all the hand waving? Quite superfluous.
Wow! What a place!
I enjoyed this one. Beautiful woods.
Are you doing a calendar this year 😢😢 we miss your presence on TH-cam greatly!
It would be amazing if they could turn it into a greenway. That house would be a perfect cyclists cafe, you could serve through the old ticket office.
120k. Prob. needs another 150k for a complete rehab inside and out plus turning the grounds into nursery. It is a commitment and a big project.
*sigh* I wish I lived in Europe - or Ireland specifically.... just georgeous!
Ha! What that property needs the most is goats!
Is this still for sale Daniel?
