This is actually a unique tribute for an anime to be honest. Most tributes involve just the music. Good on you buddy XD
Question: How did you manage the audio for dialogue and sound?
Well normally I'd look for the 5.1 audio copies of the scenes then isolate the central audio channel, however when I made this the Blu-ray wasn't out yet. So for this I just had to find scenes that were already without music and use those.
@@Oblivionblade Thank you very much. But do you use anything else to minamize background music? So far, I know there is a program you use for that, but it can be very complicated since it only works for videos that are MKV and worth more than 1GB. I've been struggling with the dialogue problem for quite a while now🤔
As far as I know there's only 1 other way I've tried and that's using the noise removal tool in audacity in combination with some other things, but it's not perfect and tends to make the sound a bit tinny and weird. Either way it's going to be complicated to do.

@@TheFoxofKnowledge I think you could download soundtrack and match music with scene sound, so that audacity deletes only music. Results may vary but I think it's best solution so far.

« Animes are for children » No they aren’t all. Violet Evergarden has a message. It shows how war can change a person and make them inhuman to the point of no longer having feelings. It shows the violence of war and the stages of mourning a loved one. So no, this anime isn’t for kids. I loved this anime. He made me smile but also cry. This animated is a ✨masterpiece✨

I watched the anime when I was a kid, but old enough to understand it.
By that time I had already lost a grandpa so I knew the pain & I knew things Abt war bc my father used to be in the USA military. So It kinda Just Hits hard to a certain kind of audience.
It kind of made me think "what would my life be like if my father died in military?" I love him so much.
So in other words for the right kids the ones that understand it.

I love this edit, not only because it's just absolutely peak, but because it doesn't spoil anything at all. While watching this anime Violet still had those innocent eyes even when she killed so many people. It just shows that she not a bad person that’s how she was raised. She didn’t know what was good or bad.

This is so beautiful. I love the free feeling of how well the sound effects and the song actually went together. It's so idk... Calculated? the Sound effects from the anime gave the edit more character but didn't take from the music and the timing was not restricted. BEAUTIFUL 11/10!!!!!

This AMV is very important to me, because it was because of it that I decided to rewatch Violet Evergarden for the first time since 2018. I was not even aware of the existence of the 2020 film, so I was only now able to fully complete my journey through this beautiful and incredibly emotional story. Therefore, I would like to say a big thank you to the author, thank you for indirectly giving me so many emotions. Well, the AMV itself, of course, is also very good, one of the best I have seen.
