How does it compare to Sword of Kaigen? That was my top read so far this year!
@@hminshull I personally feel that Blood Over Bright Haven is way better. i also loved a lot Sword of Kaigen, but I am glad that I read them in this order: first Sword of Kaigen, then Blood Over Bright Haven

I wanted to let you know about a TH-cam creator’s video that I thought you might enjoy. The TH-camr is Jazza and he created Brandon Sanderson characters from the descriptions in the books. Then he interviewed Brandon Sanderson and asked him what he thought about his interpretation of the characters. Brandon Sanderson also answered some random questions. I really enjoyed the video.
I read this last year and LOVED it. I’m still undecided about the sword of Kaigen though. For some reason it’s never called to me.

Blood Over Bright Haven was an enthusiastic 5 star read for me. I enjoyed it more than Sword of Kaigen. I thought it had better pacing and I enjoyed the themes more in BoBH. I can’t wait for the author’s next book!
