With dog barking and some snacks on the table, you can tell it's nothing but another ordinary local afternoon (or morning), and the pure beauty in the human world just happened like that. Simply priceless.

I keep coming back to this version of Desafinado every so often, having first watched it some years ago, and I swear this is lightning in a bottle. Not to echo what everyone else is saying, but everything about this performance is perfect. The impromptu nature of it, the three friends sitting down to tea, Marcelo prompting the opening line to Cecilia, the cat, even the dogs barking in the background somehow just add ambiance and an earthy quality to Cecilia and Marcelo's performance. Thank you for one of the best musical performances I've ever had the pleasure of watching. ❤
