Finally managed to keep Wyll and Karlach. Halsin appeared non hostile at my camp prior the first guardian dream. He needs to be in your party when you´re cleaning up the temple, just speak to Minthara first so she starts to prepare the raid. Hit camp icon wait for journal to update to tell you raid has begun. Return back, do not rest otherwise he will die; when you try to leave the temple just select option 3 to tell him Minthara went to raid the grove and the rest of the leaders are dead. Go to the grove, kill the rest of people there (for me it was bunch of druids), go to environs portal long rest, should be the guardian sequence. Go back to the grove, journal will update and Minthara will be there waiting. Had sex and now we'll see what happens later in act 2. Hope this helps.
Did they maybe patch this? Because im at the point where it says that "we arrived just in time, the raiders will be here soon" and the area around the grove is red but it doesnt progress no matter how many times i do long rest
i don't believe you actually need to persuade gale to stay with you, unless they changed it in a recent patch. if you don't talk to him at all during the goblin party, he'll be fine the next morning
Hey I wanted to ask if there's a way to also save the tieflings ( namely Dammon, and the tiefling kid that later on sells awesome gear at the last light inn)
i dont care for karlach in my evil run, but I want to keep Wyll around to have fun with Mizora. Will this method still work with just Wyll (lets say i kill karlach as part of wyll's mission)? Would I need to bring 2 hirelings? What purpose do the hirelings even serve?

You need to deploy another bug where you free him and rest after telling Minthara that you killed most of the inhabitants at the grove. I did this in a playthrough to keep Halsin, lift the shadow curse and romance in Act 3.
@@maxodidily Won't he show up hostile in your camp in this case or is there an outcome possible (via exploit if need to) where the Goblin party in your camp happens but Halsin still joins you in Act 2? Messed around a bit yesterday around the raid (including trying to save Dammon) but so far only the only things I noticed happening: -When the tieflings get killed by the druids offscreen (by long resting), Dammon dies by sudden heart attack regardless if he's kidnapped to Waukeen's Rest or Grymforge. -When the Goblin raid happens, Dammon teleports back from Grymforge to the Grove to get slaughtered and Minthara keeps yelling "There are more - hunt them down!" until he's dead to progress (since I hid all tieflings in the cave with invis-potions and lured Minthara up top to the ladder by cat so they don't aggro each other), just KOing him doesn't seem to work either - probably the Goblins finishing the job :D. -Managed to get the game to an odd point where the raid was done with Minthara standing in Zevlor's cave, so I initiated the Goblin camp party only for Halsin to show up all salty and cockblock me. So I kill Halsin but now the Goblin camp party doesn't fire. The day ends, Gale (which I'm playing as) is in the Shattered Sanctum (??) instead of Zevlor's cave and tells me the Goblins won't like what happened in the Grove (??? - aren't they hostile because they got the order to kill from the Absolute?) and now besides Minthara's Goblin assistant Rozzak at her table (who is still friendly) all other Goblins+Dror Ragzlin are hostile (which is kinda unexplained now because the Goblin camp scene didn't fire). Back at the Grove one Goblin archer above the entrance is hostile but the others inside including Minthara are friendly - no amount of talking with a different character (even though the dialogue leading up to it is the same, with "Open your mind." etc.) or long resting initiates the Goblin camp party though. So yeaahh...^^. -Also at one time had combat start at the entrance of the Grove for some unknown reason, with Minthara+her Spider-/Goblin-army still stuck in the NPC-waiting room (which is just a square with a flat texture) when you clicked on them.
for Karlach romance yes, she is still doomed after all. For Wyll, im not sure, the entire act 2 and act 3 of wyll problem is just with mizora, not the grove
Her quest has no impact on whether or not she lives until the end. Unless you plan to send her to Avernus it's entirely pointless (outside of romance).
What keeps Karlach alive is Zariel's desire to put an end to the Absolute, Mizora says something like that in a conversation. Perhaps the parasite also helps in the same way that it helps Astarion to walk under the sun. Damon only helps Karlach to feel stable and be able to touch people temporarily, but he's not able to definitively prevent her from burning alive or exploding, that's in Zariel's control... That's why at the end of the game, if she doesn't return to Avernus, she dies. Because it's no longer relevant for Zariel to keep the warhammer alive if it no longer serves his will. Similarly, Mizora takes Wyll's power immediately after the defeat of the Absolute (if he breaks the pact). Damon, at the moment, isn't able to prevent her from dying or fixing her, that would be something for the future and he says he's working on, so killing him would greatly complicate the chances of a cure for her...
Hello there. What if Wyll and Karlach are killed by goblins? If you kill tieflings with your own hands, then after a certain number of kills, the quest will be updated (it will say that the tieflings left the grove). So maybe you can leave Dammon alive, and not to start a civil war scenario.

there isnt a way, Dammon isnt necassary for important build in my experience, he just need so much if u wanted to romance karlach

Can you still heal the land in act 2 or will Halsin be gone-glitched or attacking you being hostile?

Does this glitch affect Karlach and Wyll’s story going forward?

So I’m trying this and the hireling, Karlach, and Wyll keep waking up with 1 hp in jail. Did they patch it?
If you've killed Kagha or stopped the ritual the druids won't kill for stealing the idol
