love using my cast iron for steaks, especially ribeyes, always sear the first side than flip the steak over and pop it in the oven at at 450 and at that point the pan is hot enough to sear the other side and you get a nice even pink in the middle. Base in butter and you're golden

Sounds good. I need to get myself a cast iron pan and stop destroying loads of non stick ones. Is it time consuming to keep it clean?

@@mattod5491 Not really because you can actually use some elbow grease with some steal wool without having to worry about messing up a pan. Just make sure you really dry the pan up after washing it otherwise its going to be a never ending battle against rust. Usually I season my pan once a month with flaxseed oil after giving it a good scrubdown I will put a even coat around the whole pan and pop it in the oven for about an hour. this will give it almost a stick free surface and will last for some time.

Be careful of cast iron and your body- too much leeching of iron affects mitochondria function.

    I love my air fryer.
I toss in a 16 oz NY steak, and 4 ounces of frozen beef liver (thin slice).
I cook for 5 min at 400F, and flip the steak, and liver.
I cook for another 5 min, but at the 2 min mark I remove the liver.
Paper plate, salt and spices, and eat.
I can also toss in other meats, or roll up a stick of mozzarella in some slices of Costco ham and cook those for 2-3 min at 400F until it starts to melt....
Very handy, low cleanup (I clean every few days once the grease collects a bit too much) and it does not smoke out the place or spatter oils everywhere.

I haven't personally done a good steak in an air fryer but I've done cheap cuts I didn't care about in it and it was good. I like to do burgers in it in a pinch. Overall I haven't had it do a food wrong.

I was so skeptical of that thing but I used it to do the picanha I made lastnight and fried up the fat cap. Kept it on bake until the end and fried it. Came out amazing.

That thing is a convection oven which a lot of good kitchens use. I love how it can go from room temp to 400 in like a minute.

Would you be able to do a video on a routine for mass and strength? For people returning back to gym after A year away from training?

We posted a video with Nick Wright on our channel a few weeks ago. He talks about his power building program and how he's hitting PR's after not touching a weight from two months off the gym. If you want to do the powerlifting program Team ST is doing, go to markbell.com and you'll be able to follow along.

Always sear my burgers first in a pan for a few minutes then move them to the air fryer for another 10 or so. It’s a bit more washing up but they turn out great

I actually enjoy eating chicken again after buying my air fryer. Everything comes out good though, and it’s quicker.
Not sure about the ninja, but usually you do t have to pre heat an air fryer.
