I just realized Heath Ledger died on this day 10 years ago. And watching this reminds me once again what a great loss it is..his portrayal of Joker was beyond great. RIP
Oscar is the thing nolan deserves, but not the thing he needs right now. Let del toro have his oscar this year, due for a 25 yrs (his golden globe speech was emotional). Nolan will surely win it one day 20 yrs later like scorcese did, when he is already a legend and the whole audience stands up and claps for a straight two minutes.
It's quite warm isn't it? It makes me a bit drowsy... I'd love it if my Echo could read 'The Tale of Two Cities' to me in Nolan's voice while I go to bed in the night...

In a time when movies have no original idea, this man shows up and surprise us with his criativity and brilliant ideas. The only other movie or director that I would consider worthy of the Oscar besides del Toro would be Nolan. Somebody give this man many Oscars!
Christopher Nolan, thank you for being such an amazing director and writer. You create wonderful, complex worlds, your every movie is a masterpiece. Thank you for Memento, Batman, Inception, Dunkirk, everything. Your impact on popculture is just huge and we love you. You deserve every award possible, but for me, you already are a winner and the best director and creator I've ever seen.
Tell Nolan that interstellar is his greatest , most personal and best film ever . Makes me cry every time . That film spoke with me on so many levels . And tell him Interstellar is in the top 30 film on IMDb films of ALL TIME!
Christopher Nolan is brilliant and one of the best directors ever, all of his movies are truly masterpieces. Every time I watch Inception I have a new mind blowing.
same thing? dude, Heath won an oscar for his performance. All Harry got was some fangirls going to the movies, who most likely forgot everything about Dunkirk after leaving the cinema.

I will admit I love Christopher Nolan’s movies but I didn’t know he was making Dunkirk and everyone on Twitter was oh Harry’s gonna be in it and I thought oh my okay I’ll have to see what he’s like as an actor so I watched it but then I was so intrigued with the movie and although I was happy to see Harry I was more happy with the film and the story it’s just so captivating and I’ve studied Dunkirk in class but this movie made me feel chills and like wow again great film!
Christopher Nolan is such a great director and hes always so kind and gracious when he does interviews. I really love that and proud to be one of his fans.
I have a love/hate relationship with Christopher Nolan honestly. I hate that I become a fool when I watch his movies and they leave me speechless but that's what I love about them.
Same but I eventually accepted that he is far smart then I am but that's what I now expect from his movie. To surprise and show me something new and he never let me down.
Christopher Nolan is one of the fewest people where they talk, I feel like an absolute genius is talking. Especially how he talks about the things he does in such simplicity.

I used to love watching the special features for my favorite films growing up. I drove my parents nuts one summer when I’d watch the making-of VHS for “Jurassic Park” pretty much every day. I haven’t done that in a while, but you can bet I did it when I bought his 4K collection back in 2017. I love his films, and I am so incredibly grateful to live in this age of filmmaking. Looking forward to “Tenet” next July!!
When Christopher Nolan mentions finding a Polaroid from the set of memento in a drawer at home, Ali Plumb whispers "wow" into his mic. Its his passion and wonderment of movies that makes him such a good interviewer.

Chris reaaaally likes casting Tom and Cillian.
Some of the best actors in the world

And his cocaine.
Michael Caine too
his wife doing the casting. Emma
I could listen to Chris talking about filmmaking for an eternity.
Me too sis!
His filmmaking is creative and brilliant, I don't get why you are comparing him to Kubrick? In what way does he fail?
PietreADI dude stfu
Wish he would challenge himself and rise better than he was ever before!

Mana CH Dr. Pavel- I'm CIA.

Not to nolan
The prestige has to be one of the greatest and most underrated Nolan movies
Maicon Junior couldn't agree more!
All of his movies are equally good to me.
Yes. The Prestige is "magical".
It's my favourite
The Prestige is just fantastic, David Bowie was brilliantly casted
Christopher Nolan - one of the best and certainly the most influential Filmmaker of the 21st Century.

In time he will. I wanted him for Dunkirk but if he’s to lose it, it better be someone as good as him. Luckily del toro is.
We're convinced
I do not know why but I quite like Nolan's voice.

"You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling" is actually my favorite line from Inception. There's a musical quality to it.
This host knows how to open up people!
I am a simple person . I saw Christopher Nolan and i clicked .
You are an intelligent person.
Same
Yes, indeed. Only a simpelton would still be parroting that joke.

At least spell correctly when trying to offend someone.
Cillian Murphy's character in Dunkirk is basically Tommy Shelby afraid of going back to the war
Exactly!

I enjoyed the whole interview, he's really nice and i wish it was longer
