The only people complaining about the infotainment controls are journalists who bounce from vehicle to vehicle - owners just get used to it, and it's a non issue.

Yup, no problems with mine and easy to keep my eyes on the road, especially with the shortcut buttons around the knob. Makes it easy to navigate Android Auto, too.
Not good with google maps; sometimes I want to zoom or move to certain area to see turns or if it suggest faster route cuz of accident or something I want to see what the route like; with the knob it a hassle

I like my 2022 Mazda infotainment system & controls a lot better than my 2020 TNGA platform Toyota touchscreen infotainment system.
I love the dial. so much easier to use while driving.

@@RK0607I got one last month as a rental as well. Not sure why the rental companies want to buy turbos knowing full well people don’t respect the vehicles as is. A turbo is just asking for people to drive like crazy’s

A few years back, my wife was in need of a new crossover, so we decided to get a 2020 CX-5. It's hands down the best vehicle either of us has ever owned. It looks great, drives smoothly, and has a plethora of fantastic features. We both absolutely adore it.
Dream car besides BMW, Audi, and Porsche. Very nice looking cars and I love the performance heritage

I have a 2023 CX5 signature in that colour , my 3rd Cx 5. Absolutely love the car.
I wish Mazda would make trucks again. I really liked the CX-5 I had for nearly 10 years (problem-free) and I think their quality control is right up there with Honda or Toyota.

quality is far better than Honda. Honda I would put around GM level, even subaru has surpassed them. Less issues with my mazda's over my toyota's

@@user-tg8do2kr4v My 2020 Japan-built (J-VIN) Toyota (built in late 2019, pre-covid) was the most quality-challenged & problematic vehicle I have owned since my first vehicle in 1982.
I've had mine since 2021 (GTR- Grand Touring Reserve ).. and absolutely love it! It's bullet proof, and have had ZERO issues with it. My son has my 2019 MAZDA 3 awd and his wife picked up a 2020 CX9 lease turn-in last yr. We're officially the MAZDA family now
So yall like luxury vehicles or at least premium it seems haha? My old neighborhood is very expensive and nice and a lot of older couples and wealthier families has at least on Mazda in their garage. A lot of CX-90s, a lot of Mazda6s and a few MX-5s. When you exited the neighborhood, there was also a big Mazda advertisement which is odd because other than that I’ve never seen a Mazda advertisement on the road.
I bought a 2024 CX 5 preferred earlier this week. Great car. I swear by Mazdas.

..no, I liked it when I had a 2019 MAZDA 3 PREMIUM. Not only did I get used to it,( a 6 yr old can use it with no issues ) but I started using voice commands and it worked flawlessly! I gave the car to my son and back in 2021 bought theCX5-GTR , and set up the voice commands... and use both EASY-PEASY!!
I'd prefer a small sunroof that opens than a panoramic roof that's sealed.
..I have a sunroof and never use the damn thing. Just don't know what all the fuss is for it.
I'd take the reverse. Less worry about mechanism failure or leaking in the long run. I open mine about 3x a year mostly just to make sure it isn't stuck.
+1 to the small opening roof over a large non-opening any day. Have had opening sunroofs, mostly Honda / Acura and Toyota products for 30+ plus years, never a problem with one of them... open them a lot three seasons here in Arizona, and evenings on the 4th season.... you can guess which one that is! Also, naysayers have obviously never driven a sunroof-open car on the PCH / Highway 1 up the California coast in the summer. Nothing like it.
@PopsRacer61 Before air conditioning was common in cars, I used to direct warm air to my feet and vent the sunroof. Since a/c became a thing, I haven't had a sunroof.

Test drove both cx5 and cx50. Went with The CX5 GT. I found CX5 a smother, more comfortable ride and preferred the higher view of the road.
Exactly my conclusion and I have 0 regrets. Love Mazdas
The CX-5 still outsells the CX-50, despite being older than that. It won't be wise for Mazda to discontinue the CX-5 because there's the newer CX-50. I'm positive that the CX-5 will get a redesign soon.
I feel like the market that buys the CX5 does not understand cars much, so if they are in the market for a vehicle they will just switch to the cx50 without thinking about it. However you are right there could be a redesign
They probably won't replace. All we have to do is look at Subaru's success with the similarly sized Forester and Outback to see it can work (The outback is no longer a true wagon based on the legacy sedan like the crosstreck is to the Impreza, and the CX-50 is much more wagon-like compared to the CX-5). We can expect the CX-5 to continue to focus on on- road performance while the CX-50 takes any pressure off them for the off-road craze.
All CX-5s come out of Japan and it's one of their global products. Demand has grown for it and sales are up YoY. They're hoping to ease some of the production strains with more locally produced models (CX-50, CX-30), except those are increasing YoY too. The Alabama plant is really only operating at half capacity making CX-50's due to staffing issues. Once that is fully online the CX-5 may become less available. But Mazda cannot discontinue it as even max capacity of the CX-50 can't meet even US demand of the CX-5, and they've begun export of the 50 to Australia, Mexico, and China.
It's a different story for the CX-3 and 9, as those needed to be reengineered to meet safety and performance expectations anyway, and Mazda had better options for our market that do overlap (CX-30 and CX-90)
they will make a new model but it's name is probably going to change and be called the CX-40
The CX-50 is only sold in North America. The CX-5 is produced for the global market. If Mazda is already producing CX-5s they might as well sell them in America where they're popular. Frankly, I love the CX-50's aesthetics but I also love that its sales prove that RUGGED OFFROADER marketing is a producer-driven meme instead of a consumer-driven reality. The people have spoken. They want the CX-5.

Removing the cx5 from the lineup is a really risky move from Mazda.

won't happen. Doesn't matter if the cx50 exists. They JUST released the cx70 which is literally the same model as the cx90 except the back seat is gone. They didnt even remove the cup holders from the cx70 back row.
@@davewilson7602that's true except for the fact that it isn't. They're completely different cars and they're not even built on the same platform (the cx50 is based on the cx-30 platform stretched out). The cx-5 is on a different platform. Cx50 is aiming at more of an off-road crowd with less luxury, and the vehicle is a little bit longer. CX-5 is aiming at comfort and luxury and is a little bit taller but shorter. The interiors are completely different. Also, the CX-5 is Mazda's best-selling vehicle in the US and sounds went up 2% even from 2022 to 2023, despite the vehicle coming out for the 2017 model year. That's because they successfully incrementally improved it over time. Also, the CX-5 way out sells the cx50, and they can't afford to lose that volume.

Just got my second CX5 I bought the 2024 CX5 select, which is the lowest level, for $30,000, it’s essentially the same car with the regular CX5 engine, which is more than enough for me, beautiful,driving ,beautiful interior it has 90% of what this car shown in this video has . It’s a real deal at $30,000, I also just squeaked in and got financing for 0% for five years, how can you possibly argue about that? I hope to hang onto this one for a long time. Beautiful car..AWD
Wow congrats! I have credit that’s over 800 so I hope to get 0% financing as well but I’m worried it worried it might be for only 36 months. I don’t want to empty my savings having to pay it off that quickly. I currently lease a 2021 Mazda CX-5 GT and I only have 19,284 miles so it’s like new still. I may just buy it in May when the lease is completed.

I've owned many cars and SUV's. If you want an SUV that drives like a sporty car at a low price this is it . Cx5 turbo just feels good its like a person that you get along with it does nothing to upset you. What you feel in this car is: I got your back! It wil get you out of the way, it will protect you in case of accident, it will help you move with its storage. And it sings to you with its great sounding stereo on your bad days. I've owned lux cars & other SUV's I like my cx5 turbo the most!. It is also a reliable car. MAZDA CX5 is a car version of a loyal and brave dog.
I had the original 2013 CX5 GS. It was a very nice SUV. Handling was great. My only complaint was on the highway, which is where I spend a lot of driving time, it was noticeably under powered. But the trade off was gas consumption was very good, being just a 2L motor. I averaged on the highway about 7.3L/100km. Just wish it had more power.
The engine cover even comes with 2 cup holders!
I have a 2024 CX5 Carbon Edition. I couldn't be happier. I've driven a ton of vehicles over the years and some of them luxury. This competes or surpasses all of them.
My wife has two RDXs and now had a '23 CX5 Turbo Signature and really likes it. A great value vehicle.
How does the top-trim CX-5 compare to the RDX? For years now I've been under the impression that Mazda makes a better Acura than Acura can.
My dad has a 2019 near top of the line RDX, my wife and I have a 2024 turbo premium cx-5. He was greatly impressed, and would probably switch! Nothing wrong with the RDX, probably overall faster.
My daily driver is a Mazda3, new since 2017, and that rotary knob surrounded by buttons is all I've ever used. I NEVER touch the screen because that would be more difficult, and I never need to. The user interface is great and I keep my eyes on the road.
My wife has a 2020 sport, stripped with only AWD as the one extra. Great car, with Michelin Primacy tires it rides very smooth. handles very well, with little lean and dive compared to its peer group. The NA engine has great response off the line, but it does get winded a bit at highway speeds, but most of her driving is in slow traffic. Even in the cheap seats model everything is pretty nice, even the cloth seats. I am looking to get a used signature later this year.
We just bought a 24 cx5. Really glad we made the decision to go with mazda.

2021Mazda 6 with the same engine and transmission setup is awesome fun car to drive. It being not ass heavy is very fun to drive.
I love the G-Vectoring ! It really works when I’m going 75 mph on the interstates and there are curves to negotiate. The system makes me feel confident and safe because the Mazda applies slight braking to the appropriate wheel.
Nathan, love the comment on the real gear shifter - spot on. Don't care that it's often just electronically connected these days (don't know if this one is or not) it still is a much better, more intuitive solution.
Nope, this one is still mechanically connected. The 70 and 90 are electronic though.
We have a 2021 CX-5, it's reliable, practical and it's fun to drive.
Averaging 28-31 mpgs here and LOVE not having a touch screen. It's so easy to use. And no, after a short time you use muscle memory and very rarely look at the screen so yes, much safer.
I leased a 24 premium plus in platinum quartz, connecting to apple wireless is slow sometimes but so far so good. Hopefully they will revamp it in the next few years. Really fun to drive.
I did go for one, at least in my country it is the most powerful and best driving of its segment, those were my two first priorities, and then it is also very safe, well equiped and has all the safety features (and more than I really needed).

My wife and I traded a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport to a CX5. We are retired so rear seat legroom isn't an issue since we don't have passengers 99% of the time and when we do they have sufficient room and don't feel cramped. Likewise all of our luggage will fit in the cargo area without lowering the rear seats plus the 40/20/40 split is great for when I take my guitar case on our trips. Dependable engine/transmission, great interior, quiet, wonderful driving dynamics make this vehicle a great choice even though the mileage isn't up to par with newer suv models however it isn't a deal breaker when all the factors are considered.

I’ve had 3 CX-5’s. Love them! Currently my 2021 GT has 19,274 miles on it. Mazdas are tight little cars and I love my 2016 Mazda 3 also.

Completely fell in love with the dial when I got mine. Its just a higher feeling of luxury compared to having to lean forward like an idiot while driving to try touching a screen thats too far away.
I dont think i’ll be able to go back to touch screens.
100% agree. Finally, someone gets it right. The dial is exactly where my hand naturally goes, and I’m able to safely toggle all options, while concentrating on my driving.
@@ChicagoRob2 yup, its so much more natural and comfortable that it almost feels like an insult when a luxury car doesnt have the dial. Its one of the basic staples of comfort.
Best thing about the CX5 is it’s built in Japan. My old 6 and my current CX9 were also built in Japan. The awful annoying stop/start we’re added to the 24 CX5 non turbo which is a huge disappointment. There’s a TH-cam guy who has a 2016 six with 350k miles on the original engine and transmission! This is b4 cylinder deactivation and stop/start which destroys engine longevity.
TBF, even the ones assembled elsewhere have their engines and trans completely made in Japan first, and from what I've seen, for basic assembly Mexico does a great job with cars, even VW switching production of the GTI back to Germany they actually had a lot of issues at first!
Due to chip shortages Mazda is currently not putting I-stop on any 2024 CX-5 trim.

Just got my 2024 CX5 select, and thankfully, it does not have to stop start option on it, which is I was told was standard. The car salesman explained to me that some of them are coming in without it, because Mazda ran out of some of the parts and elected to not put it on some of the base models, boy, did I luck out!

I have a black 23 cx 5 turbo and it’s an awesome car. Swapped out the stock tires with some Bridgestone Weatherpeaks. Great in all conditions.
I should really get a set of tires like that for my 2022!
Stock tires are horrible especially in rain and snow
@@Kman09JGC I haven't had any issues with the Toyo tires, but they aren't the quietest.
@@Kman09JGCI must be one of the lucky ones, I had my toyos for 36K miles and never had any issues at all till the end when the tires were running out of tread lol. I have Michelin cross climate 2’s and they’re amazing. Love the sporty tread pattern too

Yes, yes you should. Excellent car! Infotainment controls are actually great and intuitive once you're used to them, easier to keep eyes on the road.
A down to earth review, and I have thoroughly enjoyed this. I'm a Mazda owner, and my current mazda is twelve years old, we've never had a problem, now that says a lot. Our previous Mazda again, not one problem in five years of ownership. We will be buying a new Mazda CX30 automatic come this spring.
I purchased a 2023 CX5 last May. The only complaints after 2 long road trips are the arm rest and lack of foot space on the left side. Everything else works fine.

I bought the CX-50 turbo premium in December. Exterior design, power plant (6 speed auto), classy interior, actual climate controls, premium features (seat memory, adaptive headlights, HUD, 12 speaker Bose) made it an easy choice. Then add 1.9% for 60 months. Down side - remote start by phone only.

and you have to PAY A SUBSCRIPTION FEE TO USE IT
and it turns the vehicle off when you lock the doors, so you have to do two starts worth of wear-and-tear to use it
Also, it's assembled by diversity hires in america as opposed to the CX-5 which is made by literal samurai in Japan
Is that a pay by month thing or is it free forever? I’m slight in the market for a new car and I don’t like the idea of paying per month.
For the first 3 years it’s included. The program is just hitting 3 years of age and no one yet knows what the cost to continue will be. I’ll probably just have an aftermarket starter installed once it becomes a pay to play feature. I don’t do automotive subscriptions that I have already paid for.
Funny thing is most luxury and premium makes don’t prefer remote start on the key fob because it makes the key look to cluttered or it ruins the design, so they go for looks over functionality. Same is true with Mercedes, BMW, Audi, INFINITI and Lexus I believe and Buick
@@1antisupercatI’m pretty sure it’s just standard and they won’t charge you after the two years, but Mazda gets you with a lot of extras, as BMW does with heated seat subscription. Something to note about Mazda: they’re incredible machines and will last, but maintenance can get hella expensive and the premium content of the vehicle makes everything less cost effective. That’s why older people who wealthier youngins would go for Mazda
I add a pair of clear plastic floor mats that I purchase on my own and throw them over the carpet floor mats that come with the Mazda or any car I buy so that I can pull the plastic ones out and spray / shake clean and totally save and untouch the carpet mats from the factory. It really makes a nice impression for the next buyer at time of sale. In the winter I throw a towel over the plastic mats to save them from getting muddy.
Um so the CX5 is not going anywhere. It’s staying. I work for Mazda so I can confirm this.

How many years have they confirmed? Because honestly, unless there will be a large price discrepancy, there's almost no point in keeping it with the cx50 coming out

I came across an article recently that said the CX-5 will be resigned next year. However, it may be renamed as the CX-40. This makes sense as it would slot in between the CX-30 and 50.
Just got a 2024 Carbon Turbo. Now I understand why the CX-5 is so good, and I’ve had several Mazda vehicles. Being based on the outgoing platform is a GOOD thing. The CX-50 and CX-30 do not drive as well and feel cheaper inside. Definitely get one before it’s discontinued or redesigned.
They didn't do the whole window treatment in chrome as the black visually tricks your eye and hides part of the silhouette, as your eye is drawn down with the chrome. Essentially making the belt line feel lower than it is. A great looking small crossover and details like that are part of why it looks so good.

I have owned my 2016 CX5 since 40,000 mi and now we have 131k. No problems other than very small stuff. It has the room, it has adequate power (with the 2.5L, mine is the non-turbo). I LOVE the simplicity of the controls, it’s not burdened by too much tech that gets in the way of the driving experience, and best of all it is great on gas with despite having no electrification. Would buy again, I hope they come out with a PHEV version I can buy when this one dies.
Although the seating feels premium by touch should manufacture better comfortable seating for the passengers and driver

I live in Australia. I'm planning to go for CX5 non turbo due to the reliability. How's the pull power with passengers? I'm not going for off road or towing. Just city driving and occasion road trips during the weekend. Please share your thoughts so it would help me to make the decision. BTW I never used a turbo powered vehicle.
This is so amazing car even if I'm not target client. So many years of improvements of that model made it almost perfect.
I once having trouble deciding between mazda or nissan and i chose mazda. 9 years later I now own 2 mazdas, a cx5 & cx8. Best cars i've ever driven.

2024 CX5 Signature has a touchscreen . This feature needs to be enabled in settings as the car comes with a factory setting is set to "disabled" . Previous year models didn't have a touchscreen
The 6-speed torque converter transmission is also much more smoother to drive around, because theres no gear hunting and too many gear shifts than majority of all those 8-12-speed transmissions. Many of these 8-12 speed transmissions do gear hunt, are almost always shifting gears even when driving speed differences are not very high. 4-6 speed transmissions are the most smoothest transmissions to drive around because they rarely shift gears when you are just cruising around instead of speeding.
The firm steering is fine for driving, but it's way too stiff in parking lot situations. Usually requires two hands to turn quickly.

I love Mazdas! Thanks for the video. I used to own a Ruby Mica 626 V6 and a Mazda Millenia V6 in a beautiful Pearl White. Notice I always get V6s? I like power when merging on the expressway, but it seems like V6 engines are being replace with 4 Cyl. Turbo engines. You seem to like them... I live in MN and everyone keeps telling me Turbo engines are not good in really cold weather. MN is a lot colder than CO, but how do you think the CX-5 Turbo does in colder climates?

..I must be one of the few that know then! I have so many SAHAW BROS classic movies it's not even funny. In fact ppl don't know the Wu-Tang Clan sampled a lot of audio effects from those movies. 5 Deadly Venoms is my favorite of course!👹
Beautiful automobile, way nicer than the RAV4 or CRV……but the back seat is tiny. I went to buy one a few weeks ago but I have tall kids and the leg room in the back was a deal breaker. The RAV4 has no headroom in the front seats and the CRV is comfortable but sounds like a maintenance nightmare with all the issues with their engine and electronics. Not sure what we are going to buy now.

I have the '22 CX-5 Signature which I love. If Mazda discontinues the CX-5, sadly I will leave the brand as the CX-50 just doesn't do it for me!
The CX60 is more normal and road oriented unlike the CX50 if that’s what you’re looking for
I have the old model with a touchscreen . After 3 months of driving I stoped using the touchscreen. Everything I need is on my steering wheel and behind my gearshifter .
I think the CX5 is a great little crossover. I think that wheel design really makes a vehicle and recently their wheels have been boring. I liked the ones they offered in 2016-2018 much better then what you can get on them now.
I have 155,000 miles on my 2014 CX5 Grand Touring and before that, I had a 1995 626. Sold the 626 for 1000.00 and bought the CX5. Keep up on the maintenance and one can run it into the ground. Love Mazda.
I've been looking for a new car since 2021. Of all of them I liked the cx-5 the best. But when Covid lockdown hit it was literally impossible to get a good deal on any of the cars, I've test drove all of them and even rented a cx-5 to take on a 800 mile road trip. Im also 6'4" but very thin. And had no problems fitting in the 5.but my friends wife's cx- 50 is not as comfortable. I'm going on 67 and I'm trying to get a 2024 cx-5. Within the next few weeks but having a hard time getting a good deal on one . Luckily we have about a dozen Mazda dealers within a twenty mile of were I live. And im trying to get one as close to MSRP OTD. Closest I've gotten was about twenty nine hundred over msrp out the door. Eight more dealerships to check out still.🤞
Too bad you don’t live near Napleton Mazda in Palatine, Illinois. I was just there, yesterday, and saw over 30 CX-5s on the lot. No bullshit Suggested Retail Prices, and no extra dealer add-on stickers loaded with crap no one wants or needs.

Touchscreens require your attention AT THE MOMENT when you make a move whereas physical controls do not. You can look first, see where you need to go, and make the move with the controls later when you find it’s safe to do do.
With driving applications, it prioritizes your attention on driving the car, while pushing the attention to the screen to second priority.
You as a journalist with audience should be advocating for this type of ergonomics that promotes safety even if it seems counterintuitive and has a steep learning curve. But guess what, all dominant physical controls have a steep learning curve but they become second nature once you learn it
Just rented a CX-5 Select with the 2.5 (no turbo). Soul Red, very nice. The engine was adequate, especially for around town. It could be a bit noisy under hard acceleration. Definitely look at the turbo for relaxed highway cruising. I was surprised by just how compliant the suspension was. The steering felt good, but not as hefty as I'd expected based on the reviews I have seen. For me, everything about the car is a BUY...except the size. If you are looking for something on the smaller side in the compact segment, though, it might be perfect.
I like a lot about my 2023 top spec turbo CX5. No touchscreen is no issue at all because you have voice commands. Sunroof size is excellent in my opinion.
My only real disappointment is the exterior materials are a bit cheap, thin metal skin, thin paint, soft plastic and chrome trims around the windows. This makes for a vehicle that will deteriorate in its presentation a bit quick unless you’re very careful with it. Exterior durability gets a fail in my opinion.
I might consider trying a Lexus this year.

Is the metal skin really that much thinner than other vehicles? My 2024 signature is the quietest vehicle I've had in years including BMW's. I was told at the dealer that the optional colors, i.e. the ones you pay extra for, are thicker - hence more expensive body panel repairs if needed. I found cheap materials all over the bimmers inside and out (too much plastic and faux leather covers de-laminating over time) and you pay a hefty premium for that!
@@carchi1 Mazda paint is known to be a bit thin. I can tell the metal is a bit thin because it sounds a bit tinny when it’s tapped compared to other cars. It also dents more easily, unfortunately I already know that. I know for a fact the exterior black gloss plastic is softer than almost every other car. Just today I was looking at the Lexus and it’s exterior black gloss plastic is many times less prone to scratching. Same with the exterior chrome window trims.
Don’t get me wrong I love my CX5 and may even buy another one later this year, it drives great and the interior suites me very much. Lots of sound insulation too.
But these less than ideal things I’ve mentioned are a thing.

Grate car , I have a CX 5 GS AWD 2014 94000 milles on it and my first suggestion to future buyer is, first time you gone a do a brake change , buy a better quality pads and disc brake and grease all the part . The brakes are the weak part on this vehicle and add a plastic film on the headlights, for the rest of it I recommend it . And the parts are cheap !
I would love to see the next gen cx5 to look like cx60 but with the current cx5 2.5 turbo. It would be easier to maintain and more tried and true than inline 6. The cost would be less so.
Mazda hit a home run out of the park on this model. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. It had a hell of a run. Salute to Mazda for this model.

I know certain years had issues with cylinder heads cracking. I guess it had something to do with how the turbo was mounted that caused stress on the head? Does anybody know if this issue has been addressed?
There is a tsb on this. I believe it's been addressed by 2021. There is also an issue with bad valves. I would stick with a 22 or newer.
We have a 15 cx5 GT it’s been a great vehicle, my 2010 6 has been more reliable but nothing major on either. I wonder if the seating position is better than the first gen. I can’t handle more than two hours , you’re so jammed up in the first gen cx5
The non-touch screen felt dangerous to me. When I test drive this my brain was focusing on the hand controls AND the screen. I felt like I had to pull over to do anything. Also the car felt TINY. Lots of blond spots, the mirrors felt small and no roof to let in more light. But the RAV4 felt cheap. So I’m just sticking with my 2011 RAV4 for another year or two and I’ll see if things change.

I have a cx5 hybrid 2 litre engine, newground edition made in japan and a fuel economy of 5.6-6.2 l/ 100 km. Is a very nice car. Try to be smart in purchasing your own car. I hope I was. ✌️

Only complaint I have is that the remote start is subscription based only, with no option on the fob from factory.
you can always just get an aftermarket remote start
First 3 years on a new Mazda are free.
I just traded my 2018 6 signature for a cx5 signature, would have rather purchased a new Mazda 6 but who knows if that will ever get here. I like the 6 better but ok with cx 5. The Napa seats are better in the 24 and the sound system has been upgraded as well. I wanted the carbon turbo and purchased it but on the way home felt that the seats were just too firm and took it back and purchased the cx5 signature. They only had... one eternal blue, I like the name but really wanted a white. I believe the white brings out the form of the vehicle much better than the blue so I lament a bit about that and thinking I may attempt to trade for a white. I don't think Mazda will dump the cx 5 and don't think people who are attracted to the cx 5 could care less about a pan roof and most would prefer the control knob over touch screen but the 24's have both now.
