I'm from India and when I was around 18 and desperately needed a job, I ended at one of these places because I had no idea it was a scam call center. I left the same hour when I read the script because I figured it was a scam. I feel so disgusted and ashamed, I really hope these people pay for their sins.

And once they've invested considerable time it looks like the trolling becomes a bit easier since now they've committed to get the money no matter what. :)

My 82 year old Mother fell for one of these scams. They had convinced her to send $8000 in order to help her grandson who was in "terrible trouble". I have no idea why she didn't call my nephew first to find out if he needed help but she didn't. The only thing that prevented her from losing her money is the fact that she's confined to a bed and needs her son to take care of her bills. She had him come over to give him the check but he knew right away that it was a scam. If she hadn't been bedridden, that money would have been gone and it was everything she had.
Fuck these scammers and keep up the good work.

Kitboga has a handful of characters that he plays for these calls so it’s less on the spot improv and more so just playing a character. If you’ve done any writing after a certain point the characters basically write themselves.

OMG, I hope that many people in the US and worldwide obtain this information. Because the scammer said that he and others like him do this because they believe Americans to be foolish, and we deserve to be taken advantage of, wow, I cringed. It almost sounded like he envied and hatred towards Americans. His immaturity explains why he targets seniors, but even a child would have a level of empathy that this man indeed lacks-an antisocial diagnosis. This might get me alot of shit, but a part of me understands it. I feel like there are some genuine good people who are forced into these positions due to whatever situation life has thrown their way.
