I have oily/combo and I LOVE the new ELF satin foundation. I’m not understanding the problems people are having with this product. But, then again, every thing isn’t for every body! It looks really beautiful on you! I’ll keep watching and see how things go!
I am currently on vacation atm. We are at the Jersey shore. We live in NJ and the shore is 2 hours away from where we live. We’ve been her since Saturday afternoon and I’m living my best life!
How long does the foundation last? I’m oily and I‘ve seen 3 people review it that have said it wears away unevenly but they all had dry skin.
@@danicee Mine lasts all day. I powder but not excessively and use a setting spray. I work 430 am- 130pm. I don’t need to touch up at all. I’ll say, by 8pm it probably wears away just a little on my chin area. But all foundations do that to me by that time. For $8 you can’t beat it!
@@daniceeI've tried it multiple different ways and it wears on me for 4 hours max 🫠 I have combo skin but everyone's skin is different so might work amazingly for you!
On me it got very very glowy after some hours, but I did not use a primer or set my entire face, so need to give it more tries :)
I’ve been enjoying the new elf foundation on my 51 year old normal to dry skin. I waitress, and do lightly powder with the givenchy powder, and I use the one size setting spray. My makeup looks pretty great all day!

I would LOVE to see you do a “top K & C beauty brand” video. I have gone down the rabbit hole of K beauty (rom&nd, Clio, etc) and C beauty (judydoll, joocee, catkin, girl cult) brands and it’s so intriguing. But SOooo little content from my fav makeup girlies on it. I was drawn to the innovative formulas and colors that lean into the yellow, orange, brown areas for lip/cheek. It’s hard to find those color ways in more affordable US brands. Id love to see you review Girl Cult eyeshadow. I also was drawn to smaller packaging for eyeshadows. I do lots of travel and the giant indie palettes are so unrealistic for my collection. Hope this gives you some fun new content ideas! ❤

I am so glad i found this channel... I am 41 have Oily combo skin and live in Alabama sonit is 100° hot humid and gross 6 months out of the near almost. Love finding people who get wanting a glow, but not wanting your face to melt and drip off your face because it was made oit of grease. Thank you!!!!❤❤❤

We lost my dad in like place market when we were in Seattle after a cruise lol. He didn’t bring his cell phone. We eventually found him and he was pissed like it was our fault because we wandered off lol.

Wow! The eyeshadow combo took me RIGHT BACK to 2003 high school, when I bought NARS Rated R duo...literally those same colors 😂😂😂 times were tough back then, not a lot of bold color eyeshadow options back then lol

Haven't worn foundation of any kind in years. But this was tempting. And it didn't disappoint. Even with the heat wave my area is experiencing, the foundation doesn't feel like it's sliding off or causing any issues. The price point is amazing, too.

I was disappointed with the hard candy paints too, and I immediately thought they tried to impersonate about face. I bought the hot pink and it’s pretty sheer too. It’s hard to beat AF in terms of pigment, blendability, and buildability (not a word, but it is now!) 😂
If you visited the Hoh rainforest and Mt. Rainier, you spent a LOT of time driving!
The new ELF foundation looked like crap on me until I used my favorite primer (Jelly Pop Primer), and it worked really well. It's not my favorite, but I can make it work. My biggest issue is that they don't go light enough with their shades. I have the lightest one, and it's still a bit too dark.

That ELF foundation confuses me....wasn't their original Flawless Finish foundation a satin finish? And I actually like that one
22:58 Not that I would wear that, except as the oldest broad at a rave (with sparkly on top), but what about a white base? I tend to wash out blues on my face for some reason and need a lighter base.
I try to like drugstore but I always end up decluttering drugstore stuff because i gravitate towards high end 🤷♀️ apparently i'm boujee. So i just stopped wasting my money
I feel like overall I have better luck with high end but I do have some holy grail drugstore products I love :)

I have 2 shades each of the Essence Baby Got Blush and Baby Got Glow. I think the blushes are all equally nice (Blushin Berry is VERY pigmented), but the highlighters are not all as delightful as the one you tried. I have Sassy In Silk and Breezy Bronze, and the bronze one is just not impactful.

Texas is not Humid. I think its different than Sweden so you may feel that way. Go to East Coast its so humid my hair curls 😂
That clearly depends on where in Texas you are, it's a big state. Houston is extremely humid, but Austin is pretty humid too.

I should have seen this before ordering that damn Lip thing from Makeup revolution. My dumb ass thought it was a stain like Melt and that it could be also a lipstick. Nope. Just a stupid layer you have to peel off your now dry lips to reveal a disappointing stain. No offense if I want color on my lips I put something with actual pigentation on which makes my lips look NOT bitten and chapped.

@AngelicaNyqvist my mom and older sister taught me that when I was a kid doing ballet recitals! I'm 45, so this would have been in the late-80s to early 90s when I got into putting on makeup by myself.
I bought a ph blush and it stained my hands like crazy. Even got it on parts of my face that I wasn't planning. I had to toss it. Good bye $28 bux with shipping. Sigh.
