I was recently making a DND boss battle. It is a fey creature that was disappointed by theatrics. He felt that the emotion should not be played and feigned, but should be felt instead. So he made a theatre in which nothing is just a play and everything is real, every poison, every stab wound, every death. As he delighted in sad stories, he started calling himself Tragedy. Edit: glad to see you people like it. Feel free to inspire yourselves and use something like this as well

You’ve danced upon this stage too long Pretending you were right, I knew you’d fall The shadows rise, your time is through The script is written, and it’s carved for you A fleeting light fades from your eyes No more masks, no more disguise I am the storm, you’re just the lie So state your lines, Your Final Act Is Nigh! Bow to me beneath the night The curtain falls on your feeble fight Every breath, a wasted cry You thought you’d win, but now you’ll die Your tale is done, no Saviour waits The end has come, I seal your fate Your name will fade, lost to the sky For Your Final Act Is Nigh! I watched you crawl, so bold, so proud Fighting fate beneath the crowd But Heroes break and Villains rise Your hope crumbles as you realize The game was rigged, the dice were mine You’ll never cross the finish line I hold the strings, you are the fly Caught in my web, Your Final Act Is Nigh! Lights dim, the world grows cold As I watch your tale unfold The Hero falls, the Villain thrives In this finale, only one survives No redemption, no reprieve Just ashes left where you believed The stage is mine, the truth is clear Your Final Act is drawing near! I wonder your thoughts on the song but i touched up on some of the lyrics Lyrics: You've Danced Upon this stage too long pretending you where right, i knew you'd fall The shadows rise your time is through the script is written and it's carved for you A fleeting light fades from your eyes no more masks, no more disguise I am the storm you're just the lie so state your lines, **Your final act is nigh!** Bow to me beneath the night the curtain falls on your feeble fight Every breath a wasted cry you thought you'd but now you're life is mine! probably not gonna reply to you afterwards because yes you are kinda being rude instead of explaining of where it might end up being better you end up complaining about typos (when in the original song it was dogshit aswell tbh 💀) and I'm not going for an entirely different song I'm changing some of the lyrics into something i find more fitting for you see singing is sometimes not about rhyming the next lyrics to the next sometimes it can be very different sometimes as what i was doing was referencing night being the end of something the end of your light and being the nigh to something aka being the end as it's a reference to the fleeting light leaving the hero's eyes and turning they're daylight into night and being the nigh or end to they're adventure sometimes singing is more than rhyming and thats okay 😊 also turning sky into night tbh makes much more sense in the context-
So glad this showed up in my recommendations, because this is perfect inspiration music for my theatrical Victorian villain character. Adding this to his playlist!
Im curious to hear what franchises/ heros and villains people think of hearing this! :D me, I hear it as kind of a ballad of war between The WIzard and Elphaba. ( thats all I'll say for those not firmilar with the play)
I can't wait to use this for a theater based dnd boss, this is extremely cool and i hope it's okay, I'll be giving credit too ofc! I want to animate my dnds i hope one day.
Great song though. It sounds like the story of A former heroic ally who after spending decades watching the hero fail to truly ever "save of the day" or something like that. They've had enough and they finally have the power to do something about it. "Oh you liked "playing" the hero, well like it or not your Show Is Over & it was a Tedious tragedy" Example: Has Batman finally embraced his darker yet theatrical side, is he bring the robins and Batgirls? Is he using the dark magics so that shadow swarms around him reborn as The Umbran to take the superhero world into a more grimdark direction.
I feel like the cut off towards the end makes it seem as if they thought they killed their dark side but instead killed someone they cared about and when it resumes that's the dark side taking full control
3 reasons why this might of got recommended to me: 1- The silhouette upfront looks like Batman 2- I Love songs about the Villian And 3 - I was a theater kid so I'm giving you the finger TH-cam 😂
I really like the line "the game was rigged, the dice were mine.." It gives me an idea for a DnD campaign were you are purposely referencing the player's dice off and on. Like emphasizing games of chance during tarven crawls and the like.. but actually this is because the big bad has fate powers. He has "cursed their dice." Eventually they get to the big bad and for every crit fail they rolled up to that point, he has a charge of his legendary action. This action could affect rolls directly, like changing rolls on a die as a reaction or if the player rolls badly enough against him, maybe even allowing him to change the total number of dice they get to roll because he "is taking back his dice.." This of course would be super powerful, so would make him seem like a major threat. If they beat him great.. they get a reward. If not, he doesn't kill them.. he binds them to his will, cursing them further in some way that matters to each player and leaves them to "learn devotion." The players then will have to quest for the means to debuff his move. Some way of "blessing their dice" so they can survive a future show down.
This song is perfect for a Magnificent Bastard/Charismaniac archetype. If this song is when their plan is revealed and it works perfectly to beat the heroes, I'd love to hear a sequel during the Third-Act-Breakdown when the heroes start to win again and he loses it.
I love this type of song. They always stimulate the imagination. It gave me an idea for a certain villan for a story. If I ever finish it I will let you know xD
Wasn't expecting this, but the recommendations finally gave me a good song to know. I love how dramatic this song sounds. This is a villain enjoying seeing how a hero falls in his trap, and the lyrics really sell it
So glad I found this, now I have a new song to add to my gaming playlist for when I'm playing Jhin! Thank you! This song is amazing and beautifully composed!
TH-cam, you sly dog. You exactly know I adore theatric stuff like this. Masquerades and seneless stages, acts and tricks, acts and curtains. This time i bow to thee, algorythm aswell to you, the composer. Your theathrics light up the masks of the crowd
I picture two villains: one that's been operating in the shadows, and one that's gotten close to the person who fancies herself a hero, but who actually caused the hidden villain's backstory, and many more terrible things besides. The one close to the "hero" has been keeping an eye on her, secretly sharing powers with her, and manipulating her into thinking she doesn't need anything but "her" powers to win. Then, the hidden villain gets the last thing he needs to enact his real plan. Thus the duo can finally cut the act and reveal they've been using the "hero" all along. They reveal that all the great things she'd recently taken credit for she'd actually been semi-mind controlled into doing to help the villains better control events around her and would've fled like a coward otherwise. At this point, the villains have no more reason for the "hero's" allies to stay alive, or for their longtime enemy herself to remain empowered and free in any sense, and act accordingly. Undercover-no-more yanks the powers back, leaving the wannabe hero with nothing, and wastes no time slaughtering all her friends before portalling themself and the wannabe to the hidden villain's lair. Vengeance is finally theirs. Of course, that's just me.
This sounds pretty cool, the lyrics are fire, and love the instrumentals are orchestral mix. a pretty epic cool villain song to which the villain has won.
For those of you that prefer having all the Lyrics at once, like I do: You've Danced upon this stage too long Pretending you were right, I knew you'd fall The shadows rise your time is through The script is written and it's carved for you A fleeting light fades from your eyes No more masks, no more disguise I am the storm you're just the lie So state your lines, your final act is nigh Bow to me beneath the night The curtain falls on your feeble fight Every breath a wasted cry You thought you'd win but now you'll die Your tale is done, no savior waits The end has come I seal your fate Your name will fade lost to the sky For your final act is nigh I watched you crawl, so bold so proud Fighting fate beneath the crowd But heroes break and villains rise Your hope crumbles as you realize The game was rigged the dice were mine You'll never cross the finish line I hold the strings you are the fly Caught in my web, your final act is nigh Bow to me beneath the night The curtain falls on your feeble fight Every breath a wasted cry You thought you'd win but now You'll die Your tale is done, no savior waits The end has come I seal your fate Your name will fade lost to the sky For your final act is nigh Lights dim, the world grows cold As I watch your tale unfold The hero falls the villain thrives In this finale only one survives No redemption, no reprieve Just ashes left where you believed The stage is mine the truth is clear Your final act is drawing near Bow to me beneath the night The curtain falls on your feeble fight Every breath a wasted cry You thought you'd win but now You'll die Your tale is done, no savior waits The end has come I seal your fate Your name will fade lost to the sky For your final act is nigh Your final act is nigh *unintelligible* probably "Your fin-" or maybe "You'll find"? Your final act is nigh
I’ve probably listened to this a few dozen times already - This is the ultimate villain song! Also, please tell me this is going up on Apple Music soon! I just added your songs to my music collection!
I really love this song. The lyrics convey a sense of dread as the villain taunts the hero, all while showing the villain’s personality as they embrace their theatrics. I only wish this was sung without AI.
How far would you be willing to go to save someone you love? Crystal is a normal Secondary school kid, about to sit her GCSE's and Light Theory, when her friend goes missing. All of the police leads go nowhere and nobody knows what happened to her. She spends nights upon sleepless nights helping the police find her, overobssesing over the details, but they don't lead anywhere. Until she finds a note in her locker about a group who might have some info on her friend's whereabouts. Eagerly, she goes to meet up with them But little does she know how much trouble she's about to get herself into...
I will be using this for my BBEG in my Evil dnd campaign where realities are colliding because villains want power and control but what happens when their fate is bound and they don't have true control and no matter how hard they try to control fate someone will always win or lose
Like btw i totally think its ai based of the other songs on his channel im straight up just wondering how yall deduced this one as i would like to know to spot ai music in the future, but this to me just sounds pretty good i wouldnt have guessed this particular song was ai
This is awesome villain song! (when i listened to it first time, i thinked about Homelander from "the Boys". He is a false hero. Eventuly he fall and he will be forgotten)
Would LOVE to have this redone by someone like Aviators or maybe NateWantsToBattle or daGames (I know they're doing their own things now, justi givng styles that fit.) Or Caleb Hyles. This is such a good song even if it is AI! Listened to it nonstop for the past couple days!

This is really amazing! I love how catchy it is!
For AI music this goes hard as fuck
This sounds pretty cool, the lyrics are fire, and love the instrumentals are orchestral mix. a pretty epic cool villain song to which the villain has won.
For those of you that prefer having all the Lyrics at once, like I do:
You've Danced upon this stage too long
Pretending you were right, I knew you'd fall
The shadows rise your time is through
The script is written and it's carved for you
A fleeting light fades from your eyes
No more masks, no more disguise
I am the storm you're just the lie
So state your lines, your final act is nigh
Bow to me beneath the night
The curtain falls on your feeble fight
Every breath a wasted cry
You thought you'd win but now you'll die
Your tale is done, no savior waits
The end has come I seal your fate
Your name will fade lost to the sky
For your final act is nigh
I watched you crawl, so bold so proud
Fighting fate beneath the crowd
But heroes break and villains rise
Your hope crumbles as you realize
The game was rigged the dice were mine
You'll never cross the finish line
I hold the strings you are the fly
Caught in my web, your final act is nigh
Bow to me beneath the night
The curtain falls on your feeble fight
Every breath a wasted cry
You thought you'd win but now You'll die
Your tale is done, no savior waits
The end has come I seal your fate
Your name will fade lost to the sky
For your final act is nigh
Lights dim, the world grows cold
As I watch your tale unfold
The hero falls the villain thrives
In this finale only one survives
No redemption, no reprieve
Just ashes left where you believed
The stage is mine the truth is clear
Your final act is drawing near
Bow to me beneath the night
The curtain falls on your feeble fight
Every breath a wasted cry
You thought you'd win but now You'll die
Your tale is done, no savior waits
The end has come I seal your fate
Your name will fade lost to the sky
For your final act is nigh
Your final act is nigh
*unintelligible* probably "Your fin-" or maybe "You'll find"?
Your final act is nigh
Thanks for this. I was searching everywhere for lyrics that won't require me to rewatch the vid multiple times :)
I’ve probably listened to this a few dozen times already - This is the ultimate villain song!
Also, please tell me this is going up on Apple Music soon! I just added your songs to my music collection!
I hope this comes to Apple Music.
Omg, this is so good. The rhymes and notes are excellent
I don't know why this was recommended to me, but thanks!
Leaving a comment before this blows up
How do you only have 30k subscribers? You deserve more
This unironically fits one of my OCs perfectly
This is actually good create more of these please
Why and how is this song not on Spotify?! 💜💜💜
Randomly popped up on my feed and wow this is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep up the great work! Loved this vid!
I really love this song. The lyrics convey a sense of dread as the villain taunts the hero, all while showing the villain’s personality as they embrace their theatrics. I only wish this was sung without AI.
Ah so that's why the voice sounds weird
Can someone make a cover of this song 😭
Also, do you know if the lyrics were also made by AI?
@@yay29823 I don’t think the lyrics are AI. And yes, I’d love a human cover of the song
yeah I NEED a human cover
This is so good??? It sounds like video game music or Aviators? THIS IS SO GOOD IM BOOKMARKING THIS!
It's more fun being the bad guy anyways...
This is perfect as the villan in my d&d game is aware he's in a game
The recommendation Gods give me this and I got to say this is a really good song.
This s for the villain protagonist that defeats the hero antagonist
Never even realize this was AI, this was great🎉
Also, what AI and website did you use?
@@derekng7803 Suno For the Vocals, Ideogram AI For The Coverart
@@DarkMatter1996 cool, now I know what I'm experimenting with
@@DarkMatter1996 so you create the music and vocals? Great job 👍
Bro you need to create instrumentals for these songs, these are badass and they'd be amazing to cover!
Awesome villain song. So catchy. I would love to hear more. ❤🤩😍👍👏
Wish this was on Spotify
That was so amazing and am glad that it was in my recommendations
As a jester I approve of this song it connects perfectly to me when I'm mad in an argument
Maby it’s just the silhouette’s shape but it makes me think of if Bruce Wane forgot he was Batman and became a Batman villain
I love this, it will be on loop for the next month
How far would you be willing to go to save someone you love?
Crystal is a normal Secondary school kid, about to sit her GCSE's and Light Theory, when her friend goes missing. All of the police leads go nowhere and nobody knows what happened to her. She spends nights upon sleepless nights helping the police find her, overobssesing over the details, but they don't lead anywhere. Until she finds a note in her locker about a group who might have some info on her friend's whereabouts. Eagerly, she goes to meet up with them
But little does she know how much trouble she's about to get herself into...
You know, I think this is what _every_ villain fancies themself.
Whoa
It’s giving BBB Fantoccio tbh haha
Kind off🤷♂️
I will be using this for my BBEG in my Evil dnd campaign where realities are colliding because villains want power and control but what happens when their fate is bound and they don't have true control and no matter how hard they try to control fate someone will always win or lose
Well shit, I am subbed now
Not going to lie this inspired me to make my own song... I haven't gotten anywhere on it. Good job Dark Matter.
You just got your 30kth sub
Should really mark ai songs as ai
What on earth makes you think this is ai?
@@broknightyt9789 the fact its literally ai singing it
@noahfronapfel9483 me: How do you know it's ai
Them:cuz its ai
Do you see how that litterally doesnt answer my question at all
Like btw i totally think its ai based of the other songs on his channel im straight up just wondering how yall deduced this one as i would like to know to spot ai music in the future, but this to me just sounds pretty good i wouldnt have guessed this particular song was ai
This particular voice is being used by a lot of channels
Look up BardStrike
Its the same voice @@broknightyt9789
Hello everyone else the TH-cam algorithm has drawn here. It did not miss tonight. Love the story and imagery through this song.
Now this is good… I wanted to do smt like this too so… nice to see others doing this as well.
I need this on spotify
This song is really cool. Now we just need an actual person to sing it!
This feels like an Aviators cover of the "I've Had Enough of You" song from Billie Bust Up. And I love it! 👌
You may kill my body, but this crusade will never run out of people, and my soul will never die.
IT'S DA BATMAN!!!😱😱😱
