Hi, after MTI, the person is supposed to return back to their home country. What if the person wants to continue working in NHS in UK after MTI. Will they allow or will they forcefully send us back to our homecountry? I would like to complete MTI for GMC Registration so I can work in the NHS Permanently. Is this possible? Kindly guide.
First of allThank you so much for the guidance ,plenty of doubts being solved in just 14 minutes… Sir I have done Diploma in anaesthesia (CPS) ,and I have 7+ years of experience as a consultant Anaesthesiologist in multi speciality Hospital..kindly suggest which path I should prefer EDAIC OR MTI? Thank you 🙏🏼 and keep doing the noble work ..my best wishes
Are the years of residency counted, I mean, I had four years of residency in anesthesia. After that I got my post graduation diploma and I’ve been working as a specialist for 1 year and a half…. ?
Please, how do I apply to these trusts offering sponsorship for MTI in Anaesthesia you listed, I've already filled the matching checklist for RCoA and they've emailed me that they've added me on the matching list but I also also want to explore the alternative pathway you talked about to see if it will be faster for me to get through that means. I'm lost on how to do that as my searches to contact them are not yielding much.
1-does applying for FRCA compromise your eligibility for MTI ? 2-is the verification by EPIC of the medical degree required before applying to TEE ? 3-i'm so thankful to you for this video
Thank you for your kind words. No writing FRCA won't compromise your eligibility. Ideally get your epic verification before applying for the sponsorship + english exam, so there is no further unnecessary delays. Best wishes.
Sir i have completed two years Anesthesia postgraduation training and now working as Anesthesist clinical fellow at National institute of Cardiac surgeries it is mine third year, but have not passed and haven't took mine postgraduation exam yet MCPS by CPSP Pakistan, m i eligible for MTI after taking Oet
You could, but the trouble is that you would be getting a job after your post graduation is completed. If u have a gap during that time without any significant explanation, your application may not be considered.
Hello your video was helpful but I have 3 questions: 1) Will I get any salary in RCoA MTI, if so then how much salary ? 2) Is it necessary to give FRCA Exam? 3) Can I exempt from FRCA if I have equivalent anesthetic post graduation? Kindly answer my questions, Thanks!
Hello 1. Yes you will be paid, somewhere around 38000 - 49000 per annum + incentives. 2. No it is not, depends on you 3. Aesthetic post graduation is the basic eligibility criteria for applying for MTI.
Hello i worked as sr in government hospital till mid August 2021 and took a break of 2 months after 2 months started working as an Ap. Am i eligible according to continues 12 month working rule.?
Hello Dr Verma, Unfortunately no, u have to be in continuous employment for 12 months atleast when u apply for MTI or sponsorship pathway. So my suggestion, clear your OET or IELTS during this time, apply next year once u have 12 months of continuous employment.
Hello, to my knowledge you could. But might need to go back home & reapply for dependent visa from your Homecountry. Kindly clarify with UK visa & immigration. Best wishes.
Greetings sir. I finished by MD in 2018. The eligibility says that I've to have minimum of 3 years post graduate experience which needs to be within last 5 years. Does this mean that I'm eligible for mti only till 2023?
Hello, that makes a unclear impression, but as far as I know it means of the past 5 years in practise, atleast 3 years should be in the specialty u are applying.
Hello sir, thanks for the informative video. My query is I appeared for MD anesthesia exams in June 2021 and the results were out in July. Post exam results I started working in Intensive care medicine. I wasn’t not working in July awaiting results. Will it be a problem while applying for MTI?
very informative.
Thanks a lot ,, quite informative ,,,,

Honest view - Do Edaic.
Better pay & stability.
But if you feel that you wanted to explore first please go via mti.

Hello
Kindly have a look at sponsorship bodies on gmc, search in Google & apply individually to the trusts offering sponsorship
Thank you.
Hey have you got job via MTI route???
How much time it takes to get job???
Hi. Ilets academic is required or ilets general is also fine ?
For MTI - Academic Ielts is enough
Can i apply now? Will they let me stay after completing studies
Are you in UK at the moment ?

I have a confusion regarding postgraduate qualification? Do we need to have fcps degree or just 4-5 years of experience will be sufficient?
With Anesthetics you need a post graduate training

Ideally after you have finished your residency. Please make sure there are no gaps on employment.
Hello. Is the 12 months duration of continuous Anesthesia practice excluding pg duration of three years. Or it includes that also
If you've worked after ur pg it is more advantageous.
Try getting some publications, attend courses, get some audits during this time.
Can we apply while doing post graduation as in within last few months?? Of after postgraduate have to have 12 months experience??
You could, but the trouble is that you would be getting a job after your post graduation is completed.
If u have a gap during that time without any significant explanation, your application may not be considered.

How to enter regional Anaesthesia fellowship after completing EDAIC?
Which hospitals or Universities provide that fellowship?
Hello,
I'm sorry I'm not aware about these fellowships.
Would ask my colleagues.
Thanks
@@UKDreamers ya please it will be of great help. I will be sitting for EDAIC next year and I don't want to do fellowship from India but from UK.
Please finish your EDAIC, that will give you more options 👍
What if one has dependant visa already ?
@asmaashiq-cu8us if already on UK soil then can't apply for sponsorship

Ideally you have to goback to your homecountry, reapply for a new visa.
Covid times they gave extensions but it's back to normal now.
Do I need to clear any other exam other than oet sir after post graduation (June 2022 cleared my md) to attend Mti interviews in my home country??
Hello,
OET / IELTS should be enough
Make a structured CV, get publications, teaching, attend conferences/webinars.
@@UKDreamers thank you sir
Kindly guide MTI in Radiology
Working on that, thankyou

Do I need to clear plan for Mti fellowship post md anaesthesiology from India
Hi,
Did you mean Plab?
Srry sir I mean to ask about plab ??
@@prashanthchittireddy4944 no you don't need PLAB for MTI posts
Is there any medical school accepted for MTI route ?
No specific schools
If u fulfill the criteria the Royal College takes the role of sponsored body
