WOW so great. Still trying to wrap my mind around it but have learned a lot so far. I love it cause it looks like a mad max movie haha. I just subscribed hope to see it all put together an running. I like that you fabricate your way.
Thank you, hopefully it’ll live up to my expectations. I think a lot of people on TH-cam forget that even though we’re making videos, we’re still just regular people who are building within our means, and it’s nice to get a complement on just doing things my way.
I thought about that, but I’m hoping I can get this all under a stock hood, or at least a small scoop, so I was trying to keep the height as low as possible.
That stinks, the good news is that you haven’t missed a lot, I’ve decided to put out less videos, and focus on making more start to finish videos like this one. I’ve got one coming soon on the interior of the OBS, I’m just waiting on my stuff to come back from the upholstery shop.
That's definitely the true meaning of hot rod is on the sometimes that's all we can do to build a hot rods on the cheap I don't care what nobody says hot rods are expensive
100% I think a lot of people get too wrapped up in trying to create a masterpiece. That can suck the joy out of a project, I can upgrade everything later if need be, but this setup should make a ton of power even if it isn’t the most visually pleasing thing out there.
All of the welds that I ground didn’t show any porosity, I work at a muffler shop so I’m pretty good at getting them sealed even if they aren’t stacks of dimes.not saying there are none, and if I have to go back over them I will.
I typically skip the testing part. If you start getting sleepy in the cockpit, its time to investigate the integrity of the welds, otherwise send it@@bluecollarperformance1331
Awesome content as usual, can't wait to see that thing in action! Was the quality of the intake pretty decent for being a knock off? Last thing Gas or e85 and how much boost?
Thank you. The intake seems pretty good, I wasn’t unhappy with it at all, this one will be on E85, and the plan for a boost number is however much the track will take. I plan on leaning on this one.
The LS manifolds weld pretty good you can just buzz the truck manifolds up with a mig and I’m hoping these are the same: On the older stuff I’d always have to preheat and tig them with 308 stainless filler, then normalize them to o get them to stay.
The tubing is killer!!!
It was also free 😁

Merry Christmas to you and your family
Thank you, and Merry Christmas to you and yours
As always, killer stuff brother!!!
Thank you. I appreciate your views and positive comments
Looking good. Might have been able to get away with smaller gates by welding to the turbo housings vs manifolds.

Merry Christmas Nate
Merry Christmas Bill, I hope it rates among your best.
TH-cam aint notified me of any of your videos since you brought that Dart home. Not even this one.

I would love to put that LS in my Baja bug😊
That sounds like the kind of terrible idea that I’d love 😁
Between you and Corey I’m going to want twins pretty soon lol
Whenever you’re ready just let me know. We can make it happen
Steady on the hands with that hole saw💯🤷🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you, I’ve had some practice, I still get my arms twisting when they grab sometimes
It would look sick with some pipes out the back of the turbo

Where will you put the waste gates? Oops I Red lit…. Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
Anytime i did welds like that and i put pressure to it and went around with the soapy water in the windex bottle. I had leaks all over the place.
