The don't make comedys like this anymore. When he changed his sneeze to laughter, Laura had to smile. And look on his face when he had to hold in the sneeze was hilarious. Undoubtedly a gifted physical comedian. Genius.
An absolute master class in comic acting and timing. Rob sneezed close to fifty times, each one distinct! And Laura's reactions matched every one of 'em. (Carl Reiner wrote & directed this episode.)
Dick Van Dyke is a master! Everyone in the cast (and Carl) really knew how to perfect comedic writing and timing!
Please tell me I'm not the only one who laughed so hard at Rob sneezing in his sleep . ... It doesn't matter how many times I see. This episode I still laugh at that part.
That's my favorite part of the episode!😂 The whole scene is hilarious. I laugh especially hard when he tries to sneeze "nicely."😂😂😂

Laura needs to quit listening to Jerry
Love the show, but no one is likeable in this episode. Jerry's a malicious jerk, Laura's an annoying moron, Rob's short tempered and stubborn and I wanted to slap them all back into being grown ups.
It's funny how Rob always has animal allergies whenever it's convenient for the writers 😂 he didn't have any allergies in Never Name A Duck. Or the two episodes when they invited Buddy and his dog Larry stayed the night when Pickles went out of town. And when Buddy and Pickles went on their Honeymoon and they left Larry with them. And I think there were a couple other episodes with animals.
Millie trusts Laura enough to go into any situation if she says so.
And trusts Rob not to do anything inappropriate. Back when more people were so generally good wholesome people that weren’t so prone to such violence as we have currently.😢

There was a similar episode on The Patty Duke Show, where Cathy suspects that Patty is jealous and resentful because she keeps sneezing only to find out she was allergic to the gold on Cathy's brooch.

Sometimes Laura can be irrational, but she's generally more sensible than Rob is most of the time.

According to some doctors I worked with some years ago, the human body can develop an allergy to anything at all within a nano second, and it can lose an allergy that fast. I'm allergic to hundreds of things, but none have ever gone away, unfortunately.
Stupid script writers, having him/"Rob" hold the kitten to his face repeatedly, causing him to sneeze over and over. Common sense dictates removal of the offensive item as quickly as possible, so get the blasted animal out of the house NOW!
